A.N.

Before this fanfic begins I want to tell y'all that this was unplanned, made within like three to/or four hours after I got outta school, with me just doing stuff. I hope you enjoy, setting of the story is Konoha (obviously) and with the Konoha Genin being around eleven years old, but you can imagine them in their teen bodies for this story since it would be odd to see a goofy looking young Naruto with a tuxedo and trench coat, (not that that is what he is wearing.)

Anyways enjoy the story!

Hinata, friskily walking out the Hyuuga Compound was met by her teammates Kiba and Shino, along with her favorite Jonin, and sensei Kurenai.

"Hinata, are you ready?" Kurenai said with a smile, with Akamaru barking in agreement to the inquiry.

Hinata nodded and they began their D-Rank missions of today.

As Team Eight rounded a street corner, Hinata, in the front was ran up by Konohamaru who instantly went behind her, teeth grimacing as in the distance she saw her interest.

Naruto Uzumaki was livid, no... pass livid and borderline leaning on insanity as Konohamaru had done something he should never had done, insult ramen.

Naruto's trail of smoke debris was followed by two other children, Udon and Moegi.

"KONOHAMARU?!" Naruto screamed, ignoring Hinata and running in circles with Konohamaru around Hinata, with the blonde-haired boy attempting to clutch Konohamaru by the scruff to drag him for retribution.

Hinata thought, "N-N-N-N-N-Naruto... Is this my chance...?" She wondered but soon said to herself. "N-no... maybe tomorrow on Valentine's Day..."

Naruto and Konohamaru's circling of her was interrupted when Sakura screamed, "NARUTO!"

Sakura by some miracle was now behind Naruto and planted her fist on his head in which Konohamaru laughed at Naruto's misfortune.

"What do you think you're doing! Storming away from the mission to chase this brat!" Sakura yelled, with her also planting her fist on Konohamaru's head.

Sakura noticed Hinata and greeted her, "Hey! Hope these two idiots haven't been bothering you that much!"

"Oh it's fine..." Hinata told timidly.

Naruto exclaimed to Sakura, "What?! I'm not an idiot?" He looked at Hinata and continued, "Right Hinata?"

Hinata was eeped and blurted out, "N-n-no! You're not!"

Naruto began to argue with Sakura and Kurenai said to her team, "Kakashi should be here soon, let's leave to get to our mission or we'll be late," She coaxed.

Hinata nodded and began to go with the rest of her team.

The missions were short, they split into three, with Kurenai accompanying Hinata.

Kiba took on the duty of dog walking which was unsurprisingly his forte whilst Shino gathered herbs for an old man in the village, with Hinata planting flowers.

Whilst doing her task Kurenai said, "Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, when are you going to ask out Naruto?" She said in an amused tone.

Hinata blushed immediately, stopping what she was doing and played coyly saying with the bare minimum of calmness, "W-w-w-w-what do you mean?"

"It's very obvious Hinata, the way you act around him, even if I've been your new sensei for three days I still know without having to fully know you," Kurenai said, gesturing her to continue her work.

Hinata sighed and asked, "Is it just that obvious?" while planting the flower and removing weeds.

Kurenai nodded, taking her scissors and shovel, giving her a bucket of dirt.

"To answer your question sensei... Yes, I will ask him out tomorrow but I haven't done anything of that thing!" Hinata said in mild melancholy.

Kurenai expected this due to Hinata's status of clan heir but her student's answer affirmed that theory.

"I will help you," Kurenai declared to Hinata's shock, the latter said, "Really?"

"Really!" Kurenai said. They began to now talk about Naruto and ways to get his attention, whilst Kurenai gave Hinata suggestions in courting.

Shortly after this Kiba and Shino came back, helping Hinata and Kurenai of their flower planting objective.

A Day Later-

Hinata was nervous, this would be her first date and while walking to Naruto's apartment she recited Kurenai's words in her head like a mantra, "Be like yourself, go on a date, and give him the chocolate."

The walk was a breeze and Hinata knocked.

Knocking again... and again... and again... After around a dozen consecutive knocks Naruto suddenly opened the door in which Hinata accidentally hit Naruto in the head, hard.

Naruto stumbled back, shaking and clutching his head Naruto got dazed and after a minute Hinata stammered, "S-s-s-s-s-sorry..."

Naruto laughed sheepishly, scratching his head, "No worries Hinata, anyways why are you here?" Naruto asked curiously.

"C-c-c-c-c-can we go on a da-t-t-t-e... Can we go on a... date?" Hinata said, shortly after shoving a box of chocolate she made herself.

Naruto blushed in great intensity and said as meekly as Hinata did... "A-a-a-a-a-a-a date?" Naruto said, not believing what she said.

Hinata nodded vigorously, not trusting her mouth whilst Naruto opened the ornate box of chocolates and tried one.

Naruto's taste buds upon coming into contact with Hinata's chocolate exploded in rich and creamy flavours, it essence it was one of the best food items he was ever given, rivaling his favorite ramen.

"This is... AMAZING!" Naruto screamed in delight whilst Hinata smiled at his reaction.

Naruto realized they were going on a date and said, "I didn't expect anyone to visit me today... So I just planned on sleeping..." Naruto paused to think and continued, "Let me go change for a sec."

Hinata nodded and after a few short minutes of hearing a few loud noises in the apartment and a screaming bunch of... multiple Narutos, he opened the door slowly with a nervous smile, wearing an orange t-shirt with the Uzumaki spiral in the front, paired with khaki cargo pants, with an eye-catching new-looking black trench coat over his attire, giving him a drippy, but professional look.

Hinata widened her eyes and blushed at the sight of him, with herself wearing what she usually wore.

Naruto asked nervously, "So, w-where are we going?"

"Wherever you want," Hinata responded with a smile, genuinely not caring as to where they were going as long as Naruto was with her she would be alright.

Naruto though, "Maybe at Teuchi's place- no... at the Akimichi's food place maybe... hm..." Naruto hmed in his mind until he said, "Let's go to Ichiraku!" with the Kyuubi who was waching face-faulted to the floor.

Hinata smiled and said, "Let's go..."

The walk was prompt, with all men, women, and children busy with their own dates so much so that they couldn't less care about the jinchuriki.

They arrived to Teuchi's place and said, "Ah! Naruto, glad to see you could visit us," The ramen cook looked at his attire, and Hinata and connected the dots easilt saying, "You two lovebirds are on a date!"

Naruto nodded saying, "Old man, the usual!"

Teuchi nodded and said, "What about you miss?"

Hinata responded by saying, "Ten ramen bowls please, any kind."

This left Teuchi dumbstruck and Naruto's jaws on the floor with him exclaiming with a semi-raised tone, "You can eat that much?!"

Hinata nodded, with his plan to impress Naruto successful.

Ayame saw Naruto and said, "Naruto!"

At this Hinata panicked, not expecting another girl but Naruto said, "Big sis Ayame!"

Hinata at Naruto's greeting of the woman calmed her nerves greatly, not wanting to have a rival.

When the ramen were served Hinata ate the ramen as fast as possible, nearly breaking etiquitte multiple times whilst Naruto tried not to make a mess.

The couple talked about their likes, dislikes, hobbies, and finally... insecurities.

Hinata was first to reveal her dark secret, confiding to Naruto her meekness and kind attitude, which she said was severely looked down upon by the Hyuga Clan of which Naruto comforted the girl who was about to cry.

Naruto hugged her and Hinata blushed, but did not want to pass out and held her sanity until Naruto let go of the hug and stared at her with blue orbs of kindness in which Naruto confided his insecurity.

Naruto at first hesitated, deliberating with himself to tell her but he caved in on himself and told her of his... status as a jinchuriki, and killing Mizuki sensei back in the academy.

At first Hinata was horrified but when Naruto explained the full story she spited Mizuki, with Naruto being far more concerned on her reaction of him as a jinchuriki, which she could clearly see she conforted him.

"Naruto, I don't care if you're a jinchuriki... You're not the Kyuubi, you're Naruto and that won't ever change... I also want to say that... uhm... I love you..." Hinata said the last part meekly, a borderline whisper.

Fortunately the words were heard by Naruto who widened his eyes and smiled a genuine smile and teared up saying, "Hinata... My princess..."

This typically isn't my cup of tea, but I quite thoroughly enjoyed the creation of this oneshot story, which is actually my very first and hope to create more like this in the future, leave down reviews so I can improve upon my skills.
