No Sugar and Spice
Amazing how easy things are with Enid. Sure they had a very rocky start, but then again this was Wednesday, she had a rocky start with everyone. What made Enid different was just how perfectly the two seemed to fit together despite all odds and everything about them being so vastly different. Yet those differences were what made them work, and what sometimes drew them crazy about each other.
Wednesday liked crazy. She liked that feeling of being driven mad by the pastel werewolf, the way her heart beat so fast it hurt whenever their eyes met in class, the way she could make Wednesday's brain stop working with just a kiss.
Speaking of kisses, she liked those too. A lot.
It was also the only time when she could tolerate being surrounded by so much color. Enid's side of the room, and her bed, looked like a tornado of rainbows stormed through. The only good thing about it was that Enid's side of the room also had, well Enid. And Enid made everything better. Even while she was looking down and Wednesday and smothering her with sweet kisses all over her face.
"Is this necessary?" Wednesday asked when she could finally use her mouth again. "It's just a scarf Enid." The goth looked at the colorful scarf still packed on top the small box next to the bed.
Enid squeaked in delight, brought Wednesday into another quick kiss and nuzzled her cheek against Wednesday's, "It's a gift from you! Of course it's a big deal! I'll wear it everywhere I promise!" The werewolf was so dramatic, yet Wednesday felt no need to roll her eyes as she usually did.
"It's good that you like it. I had to spend the entirety of our winter holidays in the company of my mother because she wanted to make sure it was a "proper courting gift", her words not mine." Last term the mere idea of romance would have made Wednesday want to stab someone.
"Courting gift. How romantic of you." It made Enid absolutely elated to hear. She was always a romantic at heart. She pressed harder on Wednesday's shoulders, which was usually seen as a challenge for Wednesday, a competition, but not when Enid was involved, not when she looked at her with her pupils wide, eyes sparkling and just a hint of fangs in her starry smile.
Wednesday's eyes flickered to the fangs, she always found them interesting, wondered how sharp they really were. It seemed that her curiosity was taken the wrong way by Enid as the bubbly girl kissed her once more. This was not what Wednesday was curious about but she can hardly complain. Kisses like this felt safe, made her feel warm, made her head spin.
Nimble hands wrapped around Enid's back and pulled her closer, at which Enid let out a small whimper, followed by a growl. Turns out that Enid was also quite touch starved, but where Wednesday tended to shy away from touched, Enid craved them, Wednesday's touch specifically.
"I don't think I'll ever get tired of this." Enid whispered against Wednesday's lips, then moved them to Wednesday's jaw. Under normal circumstances Wednesday would never let anyone get with striking distance of her neck with their fangs. Yet she found more and more things to which Enid was the exception of.
As Wednesday started to relax, to let go and let Enid cuddle her all night long she felt a sharp sting of pain on her shoulders. She inhaled through her teeth, Enid jerking away like she was shocked by a lightning bolt.
"Fuck! I'm sorry. The full moon is close and I... I'm a little on edge from it. It happens a lot lately." Enid looked away in embarrassment, her claws retracting. "It's been weird."
"When have I not liked weird? If you had your hands on my face we might have matching scars." Enid shivered and gasped when Wednesday traced her face scars. She opened her mouth to kiss Wednesday's hand, it was meant to be romantic. It was romantic, but there were those fangs again. Wednesday's curiosity got the better of her.
Her hand griped the sides of Enid's mouth, leaning forward, grazing Enid's fangs, "Eh?! Wha-"
"Bite." Wednesday commended. Enid's eyes widened at the words. There's no way she actually heard Wednesday say that. "I'd like to know how sharp they are. I'm giving you permission. Go ahead, bite me." She pushed her hand closer, eliciting a whimper from Enid.
To bite Wednesday would mean... no everyone already knew they were dating, there was no need for pack mentality, everyone knew not to make any moves in Wednesday. That knowledge however didn't stop certain people from looking their way in jealousy. With those feelings in mind, telling her that she wasn't good enough, that there were more interesting people, more worthy partners that Wednesday could be with, Enid found herself nicking Wednesday's hand.
It was just one poke with her fangs, but as tough as Wednesday was she was still human, she bleed, and she pulled away.
"Oh my god!" Enid panicked when she saw the little bite mark on Wednesday's hand and the intense look at which the goth was looking at it, "I'm so sorry, I don't know why I-" She was silenced with a firm, swift kiss.
"Enid," Wednesday let out a long breath, "I have never been more infatuated with you than I am in this very moment." When the werewolf didn't respond Wednesday continued, "This will do for now. But I expect a more permanent mark in the future."
Future? Wednesday was already thinking about their future together. As... mates? This turned out to be a little to much romance, weird romance, but still romance, for Enid's sappy brain to handle. "Okay." She managed to say before she collapsed next to Wednesday, her face almost the same shade as her favorite sweater.
"You'll have to learn to handle blood better if you're going to be an Addams some day." Wednesday brushed her bitten hand across Enid's cheek, "Thing! Bring your... oh. You're here already." Wednesday look at her friend, "Not a word of this to my parents. They'd start planning a wedding and I really do not want them to intimidate Enid and further then they already have when I informed them I was in a relationship."
Thing gave her a thumbs up and scurried away to find something that would bring Enid back to her senses. In the mean time Wednesday would admire how cute her girlfriend looks when she's sleeping curled up against her leg.
