Part 1: The Gluttonous Cow
Heffer was excited about tomorrow as that was the day when Chokey Chicken was going to release there new menu item 'the grand chicken.' A meal consisting of a whole flame roasted chicken served with a side of chicken wings (both normal and spicy), a large bucket of fries, and an extra large drink of any choice.
Thinking about it made Heffer's mouth water. He could already taste it as he laid in bed eating his pillow. He woke up after realizeing what he was doing and spat out his pillow. He heard his stomach rumble. "Boy, I'm starving."
He got up out of bed and headed downstairs to the fridge where he found some leftover chokey chicken from lunch. He heated it up and ate it down and headed back upstairs where he laid on his bed staring at the ceiling unable to fall asleep thinking nothing of but the commercial he saw for the grand chicken meal.
Unable to fall asleep he decided to go over to his pal Rocko's. Sure it was a little late at night but Rocko never mind. He got in his har and drove over.
Upon arriving he was greeted by a cranky Ed who was watering plants. "Oh, no!" he groaned smacking his hand over his face.
"Evening Mr. Bighead," Heffer waved to him.
"It was a good evening when you decided to come by!" Ed splashed Heffer with his hose. He mumbled something out of the side of his mouth as he returned to watering his plants.
Heffer went up to Rocko's door and knocked. Nothing happened. He knocked again... Silence. Still nothing. He continued to knock when Rocko opened the door and got pounded. Heffer looked down, "Oops... Sorry Rock." He held his hand out and helped Rocko back up.
"Heffer what're you doing here at this hour?" He asked. He rubbed his eyes.
"I can't sleep," Heffer told him. "Is it ok if crash here?"
Rocko groaned grogly. He nodded and allowed Heffer to step in. He immediately went to the fridge to look for something to eat and pulled out a full uneaten pie that Rocko's parents had sent him.
Rocko seen this. "Heffer, what are you doing?!" He took the now almost eaten pie away from him. "This pie was a gift from my parents!"
"I didn't know," Heffer shrugged. He wiped his face and reached for a bag of chips that was sitting next to him and started snacking on them. He got up and walked to the living room where he laid on the couch.
"Just don't stay up too late," said Rocko as he departed back upstairs to bed.
Heffer continued to stay up until about two in the morning when he finally passed out watching TV. Later that day Rocko and Heffer were outside of Chokey Chicken waiting for it to open. Rocko yawned as he looked at his watch. Nine-fifty-nine was the time. Rocko stared up at Heffer who was excited about trying Chokeys new menu item.
Finally an employee flipped the sign and Heffer ran inside immediately to the counter where two ladies were preping to order. He pushed through them. "Welcome to Chokey Chicken.." The employee started just as Heffer began to order. "Two of your new grand chicken meals please."
"Anything else?" The employee asked.
"Maybe an extra large soda," replied Heffer grabbing a cup for himself.
"Forty dollars is your total," the employee said.
"Forty bucks!" Rocko went wild eyed after hearing the price. He reached in his wallet and pulled out the money and handed it to the employee. Heffer left to fill up his cup when he heard a deep voice whisper something that surprised him. "Greedy glutenous cow!" It said.
Heffer shrugged and went to find Rocko sitting at a table with their meal on the table. He immediately dug in. "Mmmmm."
He continued eating stuffing the two large chicken legs in his mouth eating them whole when he started to choke again and pass out. "Not again!" Rocko said getting up. "Heffer!" He jumped out of his seat to perform CPR.
While this was happening Heffer woke up in an abandoned town or what seemed to be like one. It didn't seem like there was anybody around. "Hello?" He called out. His voice echoed. "Where am I?"
He got up and looked around when he suddenly heard a phone ring. He looked around and realized the ringing was coming from a phone booth. "Hello?"
Heffer stood awaiting for an answer while hearing nothing but heavy breathing on the other end. "Hello?" he repeated. Still nothing until...
"Are you Heffer Wolfe?" A deep voice came through.
"Yeah?" Heffer said.
"Good. I've been expecting you. Meet me at the restaurant at the end of the street. I'll be there." The phone cut. Heffer hung up and walked out of the booth and walked down the empty street until he came across a restaurant that was sat at the end of the street.
"Good. Right on time," someone spoke. Heffer turned around to see a tall slim elk standing above him dressed in beige clothing. Heffer asked who he was and the elk replied by telling him he was the mayor of food valley. A place where most food grows and is produced.
"Why am I here?" Heffer asked. He got up as he grazed around the place seeing normal buildings but with restaurants at every end of the street.
The elk pulled out a piece of paper as he grabbed Heffers hand leading him in front of the restaurant. "You see Heffer. Food Valley is a place where all food grows and is made freshly." He explained. He lead him inside the restaurant where many waitress and chefs were seen standing and staring at the cow as if they were expecting him.
The elk led him to a table. Heffer sat down and a waitress handed him a menu. He overlooked it seeing huge menu items such as a extra large bacon cheeseburger with one-hundred percent fat.
An entire quadruple battered fried chicken that consisted of being served with a forty piece bucket of fried chicken or a fifty piece bucket.
All this food did look good. He told the chef to bring him a sample of everything as he handed him his menu. The waitress nodded and walked off. "Excellent choice," said the elk. "Just be sure to save some for others." He left the restaurant.
Heffer sat at the table waiting patiently until he was served his samples after trying some he chose the food he wanted. After he was served and began chowing down everything. Another waiter came up and asked if he wanted anything else. He shook his head and asked for a to go bag for his leftovers.
He then left the place with bags of leftover food. He walked around when he started seeing a bunch of people who looked like skeletons that looked like they hadn't eaten anything for months.
"Please sir. Could you spare," asked one desperate man approaching the cow. More people started to approach him.
"Anything would help." "Can I have a bite?" "I'm so hungry!" They all shouted and begged while stumbling to stand due to how skinny they were. Heffer ran but only seemed to find more people who tried to get his food.
"No! Who are you people?" Heffer ran until he bumped into an old lady who tried to take a bag from him. "Allow me to help you, sir!"
"No!" Heffer snatched the bag back and ran away coming across the phone booth from before. He tried calling for help but the line was dead.
All the hungry residents continued to swarm and chase down Heffer when he ran into the elk from before. "I've told you! Why don't you save some from others! You fat glutenous cow!"
Heffer turned and ran as he seen more hungry residents struggling to run after him.
"Get the cow!" The elk yelled pointing to Heffer. The hungry crowd continued to run after him. Heffer ran until he bumped into an old man who tried help him but only tried to take his food. He kept running until he bumped into Rocko who was getting a glass of water.
"What's wrong Heffer?" He asked looking at his friend who was covered in sweat.
"People are chasing me!" Heffer said.
"Who?" Rocko asked confused.
"People who want my food!" Heffer shouted as he pointed to the crowd of people which only turned out to be spunky who was sitting in the doorway of the kitchen.
"Oh, Heff. I think you were just having a bad dream. It must've been all those midnight snacks you always eat," Rocko patted his friend.
"But I saw... Skinny people who looked like skeletons they were chasing me!" Heffer followed Rocko upstairs while telling him his story. "You know what I don't think I'll be getting that new grand chicken meal tomorrow."
The camera panned out of Rocko's house as it pans down to the same elk from Heffers dream who laughs. "That'll teach that no good cow." He left and started to head towards Filburts.
