The Trip Begins

"Ah the sea. So beautiful. So mysterious. Our story begins in the Krusty Krab, home of the delicious Krabby Patties. It is also where our hero: SpongeBob works." said the French narrator

The scene pans over to the Krusty Krab. Inside, we see SpongeBob SquarePants whistling as he was swabbing the deck with a mop. Just then, someone tapped his shoulder.

"SpongeBob?"

SpongeBob turns to see his grouchy next door neighbor and co-worker Squidward Tentacles

"Oh hey, Squidward. What is it?" he asked

"Mr. Krabs wants to see you in his office" said Squidward

"What for?" asked SpongeBob curiously

"Don't know, don't care. Just get in there" replied Squidward as he walks back to the cash register

SpongeBob walks over to the door to the office of his boss Mr. Eugene Krabs. He opens it and peeks in

"Mr. Krabs, did you want to see me?" he asked

"Come on in, me boy. Take a seat" said Mr. Krabs

SpongeBob walks inside and then takes a seat

"Um. Am I in trouble? Cause, whatever it is I did I..." SpongeBob began until his boss interrupts him

"Calm down, lad. You're not in trouble" said Mr. Krabs causing the fry cook to sigh in relief

"Well. What did you call me in here for?" he asked

"It's about..." began Mr. Krabs as he looks around and whispered. "The Krabby Secret formula"

"The formula?" SpongeBob asked

"Yes. As you know, me arch-rival Plankton has been trying to steal me formula for years. That pesky bug has came up with several schemes to get it and ruin me business" explained Mr. Krabs with a glare

"But Mr. Krabs, we've always been able to foil his plans. We all know Plankton will never succeed in getting the recipe" SpongeBob pointed out. Mr. Krabs went over to the safe behind him and opens it to check on the secret formula which is inside.

"True, SpongeBob. But Plankton will always find a way to try again. He'll stop at nothing until he gets that formula." said Mr. Krabs as he takes out the bottle with the recipe inside

"Well, why don't you try hiding it? You've done it before" said SpongeBob

"Not this time. I just learned that Plankton will begin an assault on the Krusty Krab to get me formula." Mr. Krabs said. "He'll know that the recipe is in me office. Because of that: the Krabby Patty secret formula is no longer safe in Bikini Bottom. That's why I called you here, boy."

"What should I do, sir?" asked SpongeBob

"I want you to take the Krabby Patty secret formula and get it as far away from Bikini Bottom as possible. That way, Plankton will never get the chance to steal it. Think of it as, a road trip" said Mr. Krabs

"Oooh, a road trip!" said SpongeBob excitedly "But wait, don't you have something that I could drive, Mr. Krabs?

"Funny you should ask that, SpongeBob. Follow me" said Mr. Krabs as he lead SpongeBob through a door to the kitchen.

The two then slid down a pole and head to the elevator. Mr. Krabs then pushes the down button. The door closes and the elevator goes down.

The elevator doors then open and Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob enter a room.

"Behold, boy!" said Mr. Krabs as he turn on the lights to reveal a familiar Patty shaped vehicle

"The Patty Wagon? But I thought it was eaten up by a monster?" puzzled SpongeBob

"Actually, lad. This is the new and upgraded version of the Patty Wagon. The Patty Wagon MK II!" said Mr. Krabs.

"While it may have the same features as the old Patty Wagon, it has other new features" the greedy crab said as he showed his fry cook what they were. "For instance, spring lever, ketchup and mustard rocket boosters, transformation modes, and it also has an umbrella in case it rains"

Mr. Krabs has shown SpongeBob the modifications by pushing some of the new features by pushing some of the buttons

"Wow" said SpongeBob in amazement

"Oh, I almost forgot" Mr. Krabs said. "There's also a radio in the Patty Wagon. I will contact you from me office if I want you to return or alert you of anything important."

SpongeBob nods his head at this with excitement in his eyes. Just then, SpongeBob's best friend Patrick Star comes in

"Hey guys" said Patrick

"Patrick, what are you doing here?" asked SpongeBob

"I was looking for the bathroom, but I kinda made a wrong turn" answered Patrick. "Say are you going somewhere?"

"Actually, Patrick. Mr. Krabs is only sending me off on a road trip out of Bikini Bottom" replied SpongeBob

"Hold on there, bucko. Why don't you take Patrick with you? It's always good to have friends to travel with you" suggested Mr. Krabs

"Good idea, sir. Hey Patrick. Why don't you join me on this road trip?" said SpongeBob as he offered Patrick to come

"I don't know, SpongeBob. Will there be any food on the road?" asked Patrick

"Yes, yes there will" replied SpongeBob

"Then I'm in!" said Patrick

SpongeBob and Patrick both cheered and got in the Patty Wagon MK II. Mr. Krabs then walks up to SpongeBob and gives him the bottle with the secret recipe in it

"Keep the formula with you at all times, lad. And whatever you do: don't let it out of your sight" Mr. Krabs told his fry cook

"Aye aye, sir!" said SpongeBob with a salute as he grabs the bottle.

"Oh and don't forget the key" said Mr. Krabs as he gave him the key to the Patty Wagon MK II

"Thanks" said SpongeBob as he takes the key "By the way, sir. Who will be manning the grill while I'm gone?"

"Don't worry about that. I got your replacement right here" answered Mr. Krabs as a familiar robot comes out

"Isn't that the robot SpongeBob that Plankton used to put my brain in?" asked SpongeBob

"It was lad, but I asked your mammal friend Sandy to modify it so it can take over your duties while your gone" answered Mr. Krabs

SpongeBob smiles and got ready to head out

"Come on Patrick! Let's hit the road!" he said to his friend

"Right" said Patrick

SpongeBob puts the keys in the ignition and started the Patty Wagon. The Patty Wagon then zooms out of a hidden driveway under the Krusty Krab and sped off.

"Good luck, boys" said Mr. Krabs as he watches them drive away

Meanwhile in the Chum Bucket across from the Krusty Krab, Sheldon J. Plankton, Mr. Krabs rival was busy making different robots to begins his attack on the Krusty Krab

"Just a few more modifications on these robots and I will begin my assault on the Krusty Krab" Plankton said evilly

"You know you're gonna fail right?" said Karen, his computer wife

"Not this time, computer wife" scoffed Plankton. "Soon that Krabby Patty Secret Formula will be all mine!"

Plankton lets out an evil laugh as he continues making more robots

SpongeBob had to make a quick stop to his pineapple house to pick up some food and other supplies. He even said goodbye to his pet snail Gary and provided him with a big supply of snail food. SpongeBob then made his way back to the Patty Wagon.

"Sorry about that, Patrick. I needed to make a detour" he said

"That's okay, buddy. Now, shall we get going?" Patrick asked

"Yes. Let's" said SpongeBob

He started the Patty Wagon and the two friends drove off and began their road trip out of Bikini Bottom.
