This is the story of how I see the Star Wars universe 40 years after Return of the Jedi, regardless of the 7-8-9 trilogy.

Star Wars was the first movie I saw in the drive-in theatre as a kid and I still remember the experience of watching the Empire strikes back in theatre when I was seven years old. I've been a Star Wars fan ever since. In the early 2000's I needed to get better at writing for my real-life job and thought, « why not write Star Wars stories? ». For fun, of course, and for myself only, I started writing these stories.

I stopped after 30 some episodes (I have since trimmed down the first « season » from 24 to 13 episodes that are relevant to the major plotline because I wanted the reader to get to season 2.

15 years later, I decided to start writing again and finish the story I had imagined, when I was so disappointed watching episodes VII and especially VIII of the movie franchise. Obviously a lot of canon Star Wars material was released between the early 2000s and the late 2010's, so my initial seasons introduce a lot of new planets and species, but in the latter episodes I was able to piggy back on a lot of more familiar places and people, from the animated series mostly.

I consider the 6 original movies, Rogue One, Solo as cannon, as well as the Clone wars and Rebels series. I ignore the 7-8-9 trilogy. I finished writing when The Mandalorian and the Bad Batch was airing and as I was reading the book series « Thrawn » by the great Timothy Zahn so you'll see a few references to these.

I also embraced the project to transcribe them (I hand wrote everything the first time around) and publish when I was struck with terminal cancer in 2022 and wanted to leave the story alive for other people, including my three sons who are also Star Wars fans, to enjoy.

I hope you enjoy it. May the Force be with you.
