Star Adventure Final Part

[Skrull Space : 08/01/1995]

POV : Third

The image of the universe outside looked like a very realistic painting, with a mixture of colors and tones, with light and shadow covering all parts, and in the middle of it the jet in which Superman and Nova were entering space under Skrull domain.

"Here is a sparsely inhabited region, we will probably not encounter any intelligent living being." Nova said as she piloted.

He was proven wrong when some ships headed in the opposite direction of their path, the two were surprised as there was no logical reason for them, not until their target appeared, with a huge metallic sphere larger than a meteor that was emitting energy.

"Behold you fools!!, you will bow before my power!!" As soon as he said that the huge weapon behind him fired a huge blast of yellow energy, destroying many of the ships that were fleeing.

"Nova what is it!?" Superman screamed after seeing so much destruction.

"The helmet detected high levels of quantum energy, the last time I saw something like this was with an individual named Quasar!!, this shouldn't happen." Nova said just as shocked.

"We need to get out of here and stop him, these ships need time to escape!!" Superman said as he put on his spacesuit, it was blue and had the symbol of El's house on his chest.

"I'm already on it buddy, let's finish him off before he does more damage." Nova said readying her gloves.

The two heroes got out of the ship, both were now at the mercy of the forces of space and were in the crosshairs of the huge weapon that looked more like a moon.

Garthan Saal hadn't missed the movement of the two, after all they were just two individuals in a sea of charred wreckage, he smiled when he saw Rider's figure coming towards him like a human rocket.

"Haha!! , so you still insist on challenging me Rider!? , apparently earthlings don't know how to deal with defeat." While saying that he dodged Rider's punch, he then created a golden energy construct, a huge golden hammer that hit Rider sending him close to the Lunar weapon.

"See Rider, those ancient vermin built this using the Quasar's armlets as a base, along with the Nova's helm, it's quite simply the most powerful weapon in the galaxy right now." Garthan Saal said as he pointed at the huge weapon that radiated power.

But while he boasted, he didn't notice Rider's smile, nor Superman's punch that hit his face, he just wasn't knocked out due to the energy membrane his suit created, but the pain still made him scream.Seeing who had punched him, he narrowed his eyes, as if he recognized Calvin.

"I see...it was a mistake to send Rider to Earth, I didn't foresee that he would bring the most powerful thing on that planet." Garthan Saal said as he saw Superman's imposing figure.

"That was just one of your many mistakes, but don't worry you'll pay for them all after you go to prison." Superman said as he looked seriously at the villain.

"You fool!! , you think you can beat me?! , I have the two most powerful forces in the universe!! , I can create anything at the speed of a thought!!" Saying this he built several giant yellow blades, and fired them at Superman, whose eyes glowed red.

Increasing the range of his beams of light from eyes, he fired a huge blast of heat that destroyed Garthan Saal's constructs, the hero did not stop and invested against the villain who surprised, created chains to stop the advance.

Superman punched the chains, each punch destroyed the buildings that seemed to be made of glass, Garthan Saal began to despair and used the weapon he had won, Superman ended up being hit by the huge blast of energy and sent away, part of his suit being damaged.

"Amazing, but not even a Kryptonian can stay in space without dying." Garthan Saal said meanly, but received a blue energy blast in the face, followed by a barrage of bullets.

Nova who had recovered took advantage of the distraction and attacked with everything, but then a creature made of yellow energy roared towards him, Nova groaned but continued the battle.

Meanwhile, Superman dealt with the massive weapon, which now had mini open compartments that were firing energy beams at the Kryptonian hero. Calvin was doing the best he could while holding his breath, he didn't have a lot of ideas on how to handle this thing while holding what little air he had left, but then something occurred to him.

He flew at high speed and grabbed the weapon, his hands crushed the metal, and then he pushed towards the two space warriors, he saw that Nova was losing the fight and was about to be killed by energy claws.

"Nova!!, get in that thing and absorb as much as you can!!" Calvin shouted through the communicator, using what was left of the suit's oxygen, now he was running out of time.

Hearing his Nova ally, he wasted no time and flew towards the weapon, he was still injured, with the claws tearing his back, but in the end he managed to enter the center, absorbing all the energy while screaming.

"No!!" Garthan Saal shouted.

A wave of energy pushed the knocked out Superman out of breath, the weapon lost its glow and was practically dead, but a blue glow soon expanded, showing Nova in his renewed costume, he had a smile on his face looking at Garthan Saal.

"Let's dance old friend." Saying that he built a baseball bat made of blue energy, and used the huge weapon as a ball, hitting Garthan Saal and sending him flying, after that a huge humanoid that crushed the villain between his two closed fists.

In the end, Garthan Saal was defeated, and imprisoned, Nova helped Superman and then they both flew towards the Nova Corps' base planet, Xandar, a huge artificial planet built by the Watchers.

POV : Superman

Xandar was very different from the canonical universe, here it was practically a world made of metal and circuits, with its core deep inside the planet, but now I was in what looked like a coliseum, with several humanoids with giant bald heads, they were one of the races most powerful and ancient in the universe, the Watchers.

"Kal-El son of Jor-El, last Son of Krypton, the galaxy cannot thank you enough for your help." One of the Watchers said to me, he looked more or less like the boss.

"Just doing my job sir..." I don't really know his name.

"You can call me Uatu, I am the Watcher assigned to the system Earth is in, I must say there have been many changes in that area." Uatu said with an appreciative look.

"Well, I guess that's part of it, but now I think I should go home." I mean, I don't know how things are going over there, but I need to have faith that the world won't end just because I wasn't there.

"We will arrange a teleport for you and your vehicle, but heed our Kal-El advice, many forces in the universe have their eyes on you." Uatu said seriously.

"Then I'll just have to be prepared." I say as seriously as I can, Uatu waved and then I was on the Javelin going through a portal.

Apparently the time spent two days on Earth, I was lucky it could be longer, this is going to be a headache anyway.

"Well, at least everything is at peace." I say smiling looking at Terra.

{Heads up!! Earth's magnetic field is being interfered!!} The Computer said making me groan in frustration.

"Source of interference?" I asked as he rubbed his eyes.
