Meanwhile, Luigi starts walking around the town and checks out the place. "This place actually isn't so bad." he said to himself. He then glances at food stand selling two mushrooms. "Yum. Mushrooms." he said and then he notices they all have eyes. Then he starts shivering as he is creeped out. Then a talking mushroom appears to meet Luigi. "Hi, there!" the mushroom greeted "Interested in some of these yummy mushrooms?" Luigi looks at the talking mushroom as he is really creeped out. "You guys eat your own kind?" he asked the mushroom. "No. These are different kinds of mushrooms." the mushroom answered. "What's so different about these mushrooms?" Luigi asked "They're very special snacks!" the mushroom replied. "These aren't gonna make me high, are they?" Luigi asked and the mushroom rolls his eyes at him as he is starting to get annoyed with all the questions Luigi is asking. "Look, pal." he griped "I'm trying to get paid here. Do you want a mushroom or not?" Luigi then replied "Okay! Okay! I'll take the red and this green one." Luigi takes the red and green mushrooms. "That'll be 10 coins." said the mushroom. Luigi throws a dime to him and the talking mushroom looks at the coin funny. "Hey, hey! I said 10 coins!" the mushroom shouted as Luigi stops at looks at him. "But that's a dime I gave you." Luigi argued. "A dime holds 10 cents!" Then the talking mushroom said "You walk off with those mushrooms, you're stealing!" Luigi quickly reached in his pocket and hands the mushroom a 10 dollar bill. Mushroom looks at the dollar and the number 10. "Now, maybe you'll shut up about it!" Luigi said as he starts walking away. "Freak." he whispered.
Then, the mouse from earlier walks with the bigger mouse wearing sunglasses searching around the town. "So, who is this guy you're talking about?" the big mouse asked. The little mouse sees Luigi walking around exploring the town and then he pointed at Luigi "That's him, Mouser." Mouser sees the plumber and says to the little mouse "Leave this to me. I'll take care of it." he said.
As Luigi's whistling and walking, he hears an unknown voice. "Hey! Hey, you!" said the voice catching Luigi's attention. He turns around and sees the big mouse and drops his jaw. "Yeah! You with the mustache!" said Mouser. "Mama mia!" said Luigi chattering his teeth. He then starts running to get away from the mouse. Then, Mouser chases him down. "Get back here!" he shouted at Luigi. "I don't want any trouble!" Luigi shouted. The chase goes all around the town catching the citizens' attention. "It's Mouser!" said one of the citizens in fear. "Out of my way!" Mouser said shoving the citizens out of his way. Luigi hides in an alley.
Back in the bar, Mario and Toadsworth continue their conversation "Princess Peach is very willing to help anybody. She will be very pleased." said Toadsworth. "I'd sure like to meet her." said Mario. Then, a citizen runs in panicking. "Everyone! Mouser is here!" he shouted. All the other citizens start panicking and running around. "We gotta move!" Toadsworth demanded. "What's going on?" Mario asked "It's Mouser!" Toadsworth answered. They run outside and sees a Big Mouse searching around. "That's Mouser. He's bad news." Toadsworth said. Mario started realizing and starts to get a little angry "Luigi!" he grunted.
As, Luigi is still hiding behind the alley. Mouser appears looking around carrying a bomb in his hand. Luigi then starts panicking and then Mouser gets encountered by a random citizen. "Hey, you!" said the citizen taking out his sword "Come and get me!" he dared the big mouse. "No problem." said Mouser grabing the citizen by the neck and chokes him and kills him. As he's distracted, Luigi slowly tries to sneak his way to get passed him and then and the mouse Luigi met earlier stopped in front of him. "Where do you think you're going?" said the mouse. Luigi started to sweat a little as he is scared. Mouser turns around and looks at him dropping the dead citizen. "So, you're new in this town?" Mouser asked Luigi slowly backing away. Mouser quickly grabs him by the neck." And you must be the one messing with one of my people!" he said. Luigi then starts choking. "And you know something?" said Mouser "I am not happy!" Mario quickly appears and whacks Mouser in the head with a giant mallet causing him to drop Luigi allowing him to cough and catch his breath. Mouser looks at Mario. "Who are you?" Mouser asked. "I'm his brother and you're messing with the wrong people!" Mario threatened the giant mouse. "Luigi, run!" he shouted to Luigi. Luigi starts running and Mario catches up. Mouser starts chasing him down and throwing bombs at them and they start exploding.
The Mario brothers and Toadsworth they hide behind another stack of crates and then Mario turns to Luigi as he is about to yell at him. "What did you do?!" he asked yelling at Luigi. "I didn't do anything!" Mario then replied "Why is he after you, then?" Luigi closes his eyes shut as he knows he's about to get it "Because of that mouse I threw money at earlier!" Mario inhales and exhales "Now, you've done it!" he said "Master Mario! Over here!" said Toadsworth. "You know that guy?" Luigi asked "No time. Come on." said Mario.
Mario and Luigi rush over to Toadsworth while Mouser comes out covered in weapons and started shooting off in the sky. Mario and Luigi hide behind another stack of crates. "Listen, if you guys do as I say, I can get us out of here." said Toadsworth. "Why are you helping us?" Luigi asked. "I'm following orders from the princess." Toadsworth answered. "Princess?" Luigi repeated as he was confused. "I'll explain that later!" Mario said "Right now, Chuck E. Cheese is trying to kill us!"
While Mouser is still searching while shooting in the sky, he glances at a citizen with a red mushroom in his hand. "Bingo" Mouser said to himself
Mario begins to ask Toadsworth "Okay. What's the plan?" Toadsworth glances something in Luigi's pocket. "Hey!" said Toadsworth "You got mushrooms in your pocket!" Mario then repeated as he was impatient "Toadsworth! What's the plan?" Then they heard Mouser yelling and they look and see Mouser threatening the citizen with a gun. "Give me the mushroom now!" Mouser threatened then the citizen gives him the red mushroom and then Mouse immediately takes a bite. Toadsworth then begins to tell the Mario Brothers. "One of you has to eat the mushroom." he said. "Toadsworth!" shouted Mario "This is no time for food!" Toadsworth then convinced Mario "Trust me!" Mario gave up arguing and turned to Luigi "Give me the mushroom." he commanded Luigi who takes the mushroom out of his pocket and hands it to Mario. Mouser starts growing and Mario watches him grow as big as a two story building. "Quick! Eat the mushroom! Now!" Toadsworth demanded. Mario takes one bite of the mushroom and then eats the whole mushroom. Mario notices Luigi and Toadsworth staring at him. "Okay? I ate the mushroom. Now what do I..." before he could finish his question he started to feel funny. Mario then starts growing. "Oh my god!" Luigi shouted. Mario stops growing as he reaches as big as Mouser. "What did you do to me?!" Mario shouted. "Trust me!" shouted Toadsworth.
Mouser sees that Mario has growing as big as Mouser is. "So! You come to face me!" Mouser assumed. "I guess I don't have a choice." said Mario. Mouser marches toward Mario. "Come on, you son of a..." before Mario could finish his sentence, Mouser elbows him causing Mario to lose his balance and fall on his back. "Mario! Get up!" Luigi shouted at Mario. Mario gets up and faces him. "You're not as strong as I think." said Mouser. Angry Mario turns to Mouser. "That's where you're wrong." he said harshly. Mario charges at him and punches his gut and Mouser punches back. Luigi and Toadsworth watches them move away from the outpost as they're brawling. Luigi and Toadsworth follow them so they don't lose Mario in the middle of the desert. Mario dropkicks Mouser in the gut and then Mouser grabs him and throws him to the ground. "We have to help him!" Luigi said as he is worried. "No!" said Toadsworth "Let him do this!" Mouser grabs a tree and swings it at Mario. Mario grabs the tree from his hand and whacks Mouser causing him to lose his balance and fall. Mario starts feeling something and notices his hands are starting to shrink. "What's wrong with him?" Luigi asked. "Their powers are wearing out." said Toadsworth. Mario and Mouser start shrinking down to their normal size. "Even without the powers, I can't still take you." said Mouser shouting at Mario "You cannot defeat me because I am Mouser! I own this desert!" Then, he gets whacked in the head with a giant dry bone held by Luigi. Mouser drops on the ground out cold. Mario looks at Luigi and gives him a thumbs up. "Good job." he said to Luigi.
