This fic is rated T for violence and some language. I own neither series, Ben 10 is owned by Man of Action and Cartoon Network while Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba is owned by Koyoharu Gotouge-sensei, Shueisha and ufotable respectively.
This fic happens after Alone Together(Good Copy Bad Copy already having occured) where Ben accidentay ends up in the Demon Slayer world after the portal suppossed to get him home malfuctions.
On the Demon Slayer side of things, this fic's first few chapter occur a month or so before ep/ch 1.
Sorry for those who wanted my other Ben 10 crossover 10 10 10 Omnitrix to continue but I just can't bring myself to continue it.
I was inspired to do this fic by a few things:
1) I think Tanjiro is relatively similar to Ben, and that the two interacting would be interesting.
2) The demons needing to be killed would be a good moral dillema for Ben to face and some of his encounters with demons could be interesting because of that.
3) I feel that either one of Nezuko or Kanao are cool female characters within Demon Slayer and that it would be interesting to pair them with Ben.
I'm using AF Ben because he is closest in age to the main cast of Demon Slayer and due to him being less powerful than OV and UA Ben, so the fight are more complex and don't end in not even a few moments.
Withput further ado, I'm MiniTennyson bringing you a new fic...

The last thing he could remember was an explosion or something like that followed by him falling from the sky and face-first into the cold snow-covered ground.
He was a young man with dark brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a bright green jacket with the number 10 located on the right side of the chest and cargo pants, clothing never seen before in this era of Taisho. The most striking feature of his was a weird watch-like green device with a green X/hourglass-shaped symbol located on its front.
This young man was none other than the one known as Ben Tennyson, hero of the universe. The device on his arm was known as THE OMNITRIX/OMNIMATRIX, a device allowing its wielder to transform into no less than over 50 different alien life forms.
He was sitting on the snow covered ground on what he could identify as either a mountain or a forest. How he got there was unknown to him, as last time he checked he was on an alien planet with Reiny and was about to get home until the portal…blew up or something.
Regardless of how he came to be there, all Ben's mind knew was that it was freezing, the omnitrix's battery was very low and if this continued for any longer he would freeze to death in not even a few moments.
"Attempt at saving the life of user in progress…error, error…Failsafe unable to proceed due to Omnitrix energy resources being below 10%. User's life under critical conditions…" The omnitrix's monotone feminine robotical voice stated as Ben started feeling the life slowly fade away from his body.
It was clear to anyone the fate of Ben Tennyson was an ill-fated one, considering the freezing cold and blizzard, it was fair to assume that he could die at any moment now.
However that didn't happen as the omnitrix wielder saw someone in the distance, a person looking to be a young boy, no older than 12, put a basket full of coal to the ground before running towards Ben.
The closer he was getting, the alien hero managed to get some grasp on the boy's features. He had unnatural-looking spiky red hair and scarlet eyes with a scar located on his forehead wearing what looked like some kind of green-colored kimono over white clothing and black pants.
"Oi! ! Are you allright!?" the red-haired boy exclaimed, it took a while for Ben to realize that the boy was talking in what most likely sounded like japanese.
"Hold on, you!" The boy exclaimed in japanese once again, as he finally reached the place where Ben was lying still. Ben was too on the verge of unconsciousness and he didn't remember much of what happened following the boy reaching him.
The red-haired boy got close enough to Ben, he checked his pulse before his eyes widened upon realizing the fact that this weirdly dressed boy was barely breathing.
"Crap! This isn't good! If I don't get him to a warm place he'll be done for!" the red-head exclaimed in pain as he decided to leave the coal basket behind and instead grab Ben onto his back in an attempt to carry the boy to a safe place.
The red-headed boy started running back towards the location of his house, he was supposed to sell coal like his mother told him to, but he couldn't just leave this person here to freeze to death, even if it was just a random stranger.
Saving a life was top priority for the boy over selling some coal.
The boy was running through the snow and even if he tripped every now and then, the boy carrying Ben finally arrived nearby his home, a small wooden japanese-style house, where a young girl with black hair put in a bun and scarlet eyes similar to the red-headed boy's was cleaning the front of the house.
"Tanjiro-nii! I see you're home early! Welcome-" the girl exclaimed in happiness towards the boy before cutting herself off mid-sentence when she realized that her older brother was carrying an unknown person
"Nezuko! Call mom here! This person needs help! I found him half-frozen down in the mountains!" The red-haired boy shouted half-breathed as he managed to reach the front of the house.
The young sister nodded before rushing inside the hut and calling for her boy reached inside the house as well and rested the stranger on one of the house's many beds.

CHAPTER ONE:
LOST IN SNOW
Probably more than a few hours or maybe even days passed before the boy known as Ben Tennyson finally woke up from his unconscious state, a bit confused as to where he was, but otherwise was more than alright.
He took notice of his surroundings very soon, noticing he was in some kind of wooden room in a bigger house with nothing more than a bed, a stove and a fireplace located within its walls.
Ben dizzily managed to get up with little to no pain from within the constraints of the bed, hoping to find more things about where or when he was. He didn't get too far however as the girl from earlier with black hair tied in a bun and scarlet eyes came to greet him
"Oh, you finally woke up! We were really worried you won't wake up!" The girl said in a genuine voice. It took a while for Ben to process what she said before the Omnitrix's universal translator kicked in, letting him understand the words she just spoke.
"Uhh…hi…How long was I out? And more importantly…where am I?" The omnitrix asked in a very nonchalant manner, causing the girl to chuckle a bit. Why did this girl remind him so much of Julie…?
"You've been unconscious for a day or two. You're in our house, my nii-san, Tanjiro, carried you here after he found you unconscious in the blizzard. You're lucky he was there to help." the japanese girl said with a smile.
"I know this may sound weird…but exactly what country and year is it?" Ben asked in curiosity, causing the girl to look at him strangely. The omnitrix wielder knew how this must have sounded but considering how many times he was sent back in time or into another universe, it was worth asking.
"Well…you're in Japan. It's the first year of the Taisho era." came her reply.
Yep, as Ben suspected he was in Japan. And even though he wasn't that familiar with Japan's history as someone like Gwen was, he suspected it could be either a feudal or pre-modern era japan.
"But enough of all that, more importantly…how are you feeling? You aren't cold or wounded are you?" The girl asked in genuine concern, surprising Ben who couldn't process why she was this worried for him.
"N-no, nothing like that. I'm as good as new. T…thanks for being concerned about me." The omnitrix wielder replied as his face was turning red out of slight nervousness, he didn't know why but his girl was making him act this way.
"I'm glad to hear that! Follow me, you woke up exactly at dinner time. You will love my mother's delicious cooking!" The girl said with a smile as she grabbed Ben and dragged him after her downstairs where a family was dining, and all with black hair and scarlet eyes like the girl, though one boy particularly stood out with his distinct spiky red hair.
"Ooka-san, would it be alright if he joins us at dinner?" The girl asked with a smile as her mother nodded, looking at Ben with a caring look in her eyes.
"Of course. Young man, you can join us at dinner. We would be grateful if you do." The mother said with a soft tone of voice, though Ben didn't know if he really could. He saw it before in the rooms and dinner…this family was poor.
And Ben didn't want to cause any trouble by giving this family another mouth to feed merely with his presence.
"I-it't fine really. I don't want to be a bother-"
"Nonsense, you won't bother us at all! And besides…the more the merrier." The mother replied and well…Ben didn't want to say no to a tasty meal, especially after being unconscious for two or three days.
So the omnitrix wielder just shrugged as he pulled a nearby wooden chair and sat at the table, looking at the tasty looking soba noodles, soup, a small but thorough fried chicken and some other kinds of foods. Ready to dig in and start eating.
He would've wanted some chili fries and smoothies with his meal but hey, beggars can't be choosers, can they?
"Oh how rude of me! My name is Kie Kamado." The mother said with a smile as she pointed to herself. "And these are…my oldest son Tanjiro." She pointed to the red-haired boy to Ben's right. And by memory alone Ben could remember that this boy was the
"So you're the one who saved me, Tanjiro-san?" Ben said in an attempt to sound polite with the added honorifics. The omnitrix wielder got up from his seat and awkwardly bowed at the red-head. "Thank you for saving me! If it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't even be here to begin with."
The red-head boy now known as Tanjiro started to frantically move his hands around before finally stammering: "N-no need for thanks really! I…I just did what anyone else would do in that situation…"
After that awkward exchange, the mother named Kie Kamado continued introducing the other family members. "My oldest daughter Nezuko, who you met earlier." she said pointing to the girl from earlier.
"My second son Takeo." She pointed to a boy who looked like a younger version of Tanjiro(if Tanjiro had spiky black hair and was slightly younger) who had a pout on his face.
"My second daughter Hanako." She pointed to a young girl with black hair and red eyes who was seemingly either a bit shy or nervous, as her eyes quickly avoided direct contact with Ben's.
"My third son Shigeru." She pointed to a young boy with flat black hair and scarlet eyes. Shigeru was jumping up and down, perhaps wanting to ask Ben like a million questions.
"And the little one sleeping over there is my youngest son, Rokuta." Kie said with a smile as she pointed to a child no older than maybe 4 sleeping peacefully in a makeshift crib.
"Nice to meet you all. My name is Ben Tennyson."
"Oh…Tennyson-san, are you a foreigner?" Kie asked the omnitrix wielder who nodded.
"You could say that. I'm from a western country." Ben said, he would've specified the country but he wasn't sure if the U.S. was a thing in this "Taisho era".
"I see…" Kie said with an understanding nod.
"If you're a foreigner, Tennyson-san, how did you end up here in our humble mountains?" Tanjiro asked Ben, looking at him with curiosity.
"I was on a trip, I'm some kind of traveler you could say. I was just passing through when I heard some noise in the mountains. I went to verify but I slipped and ended up stuck in the blizzard until Tanjiro-san here saved me." Ben lied using a fake backstory he made up on the spot. And it wasn't as if it was fully a lie, he kinda is on a trip and traveled between eras and/or dimension/alternate universe…so it was a half-lie. And it wasn't as if he could tell them he's from June 2011 United States and that he ended up here after being stranded on an alien planet and fighting a giant worm alongside a Highbreed and then getting teleported here? Yeah, they would think he's either crazy or a witch youkai or something like that.
And no need to be so polite, you can call me just Ben, no need for formalities." Ben told Tanjiro, he understood that the last name followed by honorific were the formality in Japan, but he did
"Oh, alright then, Ben-san!" Tanjiro said with a nod. Ben looked at him strangely for a moment, hoping he would drop the "-san" part and either just call him Ben or Ben-kun or something but eventually shrugged his shoulders and decided not to bother with it.
After talking a bit with the family and seeing the siblings act like, well, siblings…he felt a bit sad he had to admit…that kind of bickering and laughter really reminded him of Gwen and Kevin…this did make him a bit homesick.
"I really hope Paradox or Gwen manage to get me home…" Ben hoped through going through the trouble of opening a portal in another world would probably take ages even for Paradox to do.
After a delicious meal that Ben felt kinda bad for eating since the family seemed to have some rough times but he couldn't complain after the deed was done so…he decided not to think about it.
Especially after the family has been kind enough to let him, basically a stranger, to dine with them as if he was part of the family. He got up from his seat and decided to try to help Nezuko and Kie who were washing dishes.
"Tennyson-san, it's-" Nezuko started saying but Ben cut her off mid-sentence with a hasty:
"Ben. Just call me Ben." The omnitrix wielder corrected the japanese girl.
"Ben-san, there's no need for you to help us clean dishes…you're still a visitor after all..
"Nonsense, I may as well help you with dishes, as a thanks for the meal at the very least." Ben said with a smile as he started washing dishes before realizing the fact that…he absolutely had no idea what he was even doing. He never washed plates before…well, he had a washing machine but he never washed them by hand.
But regardless of how well he washed the dishes, eventually he decided to take his leave. He got up from the bed in that small cluttered room and walked up towards the door
"Ben-san, are you leaving?" Kie asked the teenage alien hero, who stopped from opening the door.
"Yeah, well…I should get going. I need to find a place to stay so I can go back to my country and all that in some time." The omnitrix wielder said with a sigh, it would probably take him ages to find an inn or something to stay at…especially since he had no money or especially yen for that matter. And Kie-san noticed the teen's dismay.
"You can stay at our house until you find a way to get back to your home country." Kie offered, surprising Ben who turned around and looked at her in slight shock. How could she be so kind to him?
"Are you sure about this, Kie-san? I really don't want to be a bother to you and your family more than I already was." Ben stated, as he really didn't want to be a hassle to these people/
"As I said before, Ben-san, don't worry about that. You won't be a bother. Besides…it's dangerous to go outside at this late time…demons come out at night time you know." The older woman said with a smile, through the demon part was a bit creepy.
"If you are sure Kie-san, then alright. Wait a sec…did you just say…demons?!" Ben exclaimed in horror as he realized what the older woman just said and froze. Was she joking? She was joking right? No way in hell demons really existed(no pun intended).
And from that day onwards…Ben Tennyson started living with the Kamados until the day he managed to return home but…
This is no fairy tale to end like that with a happy ending and instead…
Happiness can be broken very easily…
It can be broken especially…
By the scent of blood.
