VSX-2018: To make this clear 'Digital' is the name of the Kamen Rider, yes she is based of Digimon. 'Kuuga' Is the cannon Kamen Rider she is based off.
Story start:
Digital panted as she walked over to the dying Alpha Gurongi. "Game over."
"Daughter of Haruka." The Alpha Gurongi spoke.
"Daughter of who?" Digital questioned in confusion.
She was ignored.
"You have been found. You are dead, just like your w**** mother!" The Alpha Gurongi exploded.
Digital walked out of the flames as she started to return to the real world. "'W***e mother' huh? I don't know my mother, but if you were calling me the daughter of a b***h, you wouldn't be the first!"
Her armor shattered off her, it only worked in Limbo.
Honoka reached into her jacket and pulled out a black choker with a red pendent hanging from it. 'My mother huh? I never knew her." She attached the choker to her neck and darted off after looking around the wrecked block.
Whatever happened in Limbo had an effect on the real world, and she sent that Alpha Gurongi through a lot of walls!
Half an hour later:
Honoka was walking down a road as cars zoomed past on the other side. A car pulled up next to her.
Eli was at the wheel. "Are you okay, Honoka?"
"How do you know my name?" Honoka didn't look at her.
"My boss knows you, she wants to meet." Eli explained.
Honoka said nothing.
"Please? I risky my life for you back there." Eli pointed out.
Honoka scoffed and leaned on the car's open window. "I didn't need your help."
A police car shot past.
Honoka changed her mind and got into the passenger side.
Eli pulled a U turn and drove off. "I'm with an organization called Muse, heard of it?"
"Something to do with that masked freak on the net?" Honoka asked.
"That's my boss." Eli deadpanned.
"Wonderful." Was Honoka's sarcastic reply, already regretting getting in the car.
Two hours later:
It was dark by the time the car reached its destination.
Eli turned off the main road and into an alleyway, a gate opened, letting the car through as a camera tracked the vehicle with the gate closing behind it.
Eli pulled the car to a stop and got out.
So did Honoka.
"Welcome to Muse." Eli gestured at a half open garage door that had spray paint vandalizing the front of it.
"Not what I was expecting." Honoka replied.
"That's the idea." Eli explained.
The two of them ducked under the door and walked towards the opposite wall.
Eli pushed on the forehead of some skull pain and the bricks making up its mouth moved, revealing a keypad. "The Gurongi's are among us, Honoka, they are enslaving mankind." The bricks making up the skull's eye moved, revealing a scanner. Eli pushed her eye to it and the whole wall moved, revealing a white passage. "We're fighting back."
The two of them walked into the passage and the wall moved back into place behind them.
"We are the first, last and only line of defense." Eli explained.
"Defense? You got no chance." Honoka replied. She ran two fingers along the wall and look at the dirty they collected before flicking it off.
"We don't leave things to chance!" Eli snapped. She visibly calmed herself. "We've collected vast intelligence on the Gurongis and their collaborators."
The two of them walked through a room full of computers with people working on them.
"We can hit them where it hurts." Eli walked through a pair of door that slid open.
Honoka followed.
Inside the room was a single occupant.
She had gray hair that reached to her waist and was pulled into a side ponytail with a small loop. Her skin was fair and her eyes were hazel. She wore a white dress shirt with a red-blue bow tie. Over that was a dark-blue blazer and a bright-blue pleated skirt. Black mary jane shoes covered her feet and under them were black knee socks. She looked to be the same age as Honoka.
She stared at Honoka for several seconds. "Amazing. Honoka, it's really you."
Honoka looked at her blankly.
The woman tilted her head to the side. "You don't remember me." It was a statement, not a question.
"No." Honoka glanced around the room. "Should I?"
"How much of your childhood do you remember?" The woman asked instead of answering.
"Not much, I had meningitis when I was seven, whipped my memory, why?" Honoka asked.
"Ha!" The woman scoffed. "They told me I was in a car crash that resulted in total anemia. Age? Seven."
"Your point?" Honoka asked after a couple of seconds of silence.
"When you got your powers, your healing factor would have repaired the brain damage and given you back your memories if you had actually gotten meningitis." The woman walked forwards. "All war is fought is deception and you have been deceived. Your past has been hidden from you for a reason."
"Back up a second, who are you?" Honoka pointed at the woman.
The woman stepped back. "My name is Kotori. I helped create Muse to fight the Gurongis." She gestured around the room.
"With something other than guns, swords and magic?" Honoka asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We use violence yes, but we also use propaganda, politics and persuasion." Kotori explained while pacing.
"You really think you can make a dent?" Honoka raised an eyebrow.
Kotori looked at her in shock. "'Make a dent'? With the two of us working together, I believe we can win the war!"
"So that's what this is about!" Honoka realized. "You need me to help you win the war!" She was now in Kotori's face. "Help save the world!"
"What else were you planning on doing with your life?" Kotori replied.
"Look," Honoka took a step backwards. "You lot seem tight, but I have a lot of trust issues. I prefer to work alone."
Eli couldn't take it anymore and took a step forward. "Honoka, I don't think you understand what is at stake here!"
Kotori held up a hand.
Eli shut up.
"If you want to walk away from this, walk out on me. I'm powerless to stop you." Kotori began.
Honoka looked ready to do just that.
"But you'll be making a big mistake, not just for yourself, but for mankind." Kotori pleaded.
"Mankind?!" Honoka demanded, not sure she had heard Kotori right.
"Yes!" Kotori exclaimed.
"What makes you think I care?!" Honoka hissed.
There was a minute of silence.
"At least let me show you." Kotori played her last card.
"Show me what?" Honoka asked.
"Who you really are." Kotori smirked.

Line
And sinker.
Next day:
Eli's car drove into the courtyard of a mansion.
Or rather, what was once a mansion.
It looked like a freaking war had blasted through it!
There were creators in the ground, the roof was almost completely missing and several walls had collapsed.
Honoka, Eli and Kotori entered a corridor.
"This was your home." Kotori stated.
"I don't remember." Honoka replied as she stopped next to the other teenager.
"You will." Kotori turned to Eli. "Ready the gateway."
Eli nodded. She pulled out a dagger and started carving a circle on the ground.
"What are you doing?" Honoka asked in confusion.
"Our world and the Limbo dimension are positioned very close together. They clash in places creating what we call rifts. Its here, in the rifts, we can create gateways to and from Limbo." She finished the circle. "It's ready."
The circle started glowing.
"Go ahead." Kotori pointed to the circle. "The house has secrets. I've found mine, now its your turn."
"How will I get back?" Honoka walked into the circle.
"Make your way back here, we'll have an exit ready." Kotori replied. "Be careful, it can get rough in there."
Honoka smiled at Eli. "I like it rough." She managed to get out before vanishing.
"Are you sure this is going to work?" Eli asked Kotori. "She doesn't seem to care."
"She's rough, just like you were when I first found you." Kotori smiled.
Eli looked down at the ground.
Honoka arrived in Limbo. She darted through the corridor and quickly arrived in an entrance hall.
It had a sun painted on the floor and at the other end was a staircase. It split in two, leading to a pair of walkways. The left walkway had an open door at the far end of it, while it had collapsed towards the other end. The fallen rubble blocked off an identical door on the right walkway and it had also collapsed towards Honoka's side of the room. Each walkway had two doors along it in the left and right walls.
"So this was my home?" Honoka looked around. "Well, show me your secrets." She looked to the side. "I really am losing it, talking to a house!"
She ran up the stairs, up the left stairs and through the door at the end of the walkway. She ran down the hall and into a room.
It had been trashed, the walls were covered in scratch marks and the furniture had been smashed to pieces. At the other end of the room was a large portrait of a woman dressed in a military uniform. The area around the frame was scorched black while the woman's face had been torn off.
"Who the heck are you?" Honoka approached the portate. She looked at the nameplate. "'Haruka'?" Then she remembered what the Alpha Gurongi had called her. "My mum?!"
Pitch-black rocks exploded out of the ground, blocking off the doors and forming barriers around the room.
A new type of Gurongi burst out of the ground and flew into the sky.
She looked like a humanoid female. Her skin was covered by a black leather catsuit that coated everything from the neck down. The suit ended in boots with a four inch heel and thick black gloves. Her head was coated by a black helmet, the front of which was taken up by a square-shaped visor. Coming from her arms were black leather bat wings.
She is an Xu Goma Gu Gurongi.
Let the battle begin!
[KUUGA DRIVER!]
[ANGEGREY!]
[TRANSLATION READY!]
"HENSHIN!"
[TRANSLATE!]
[TAI EVOLVES TO ANGEGREYMON!]
[THE HOLY DINOSAUR DESTROYS HIS OPPONENTS WITH THE POWER OF LIGHT!]
Honoka transformed into Kamen Rider Digital, AngeGrey Translation.
[PRE BIG BANG TRANSLATION!]
The Gurongi came shooting down with a flying kick. Digital spread her wings and flapped them, firing a trio of pure-blue light beams that slammed into the Gurongi, forcing her to stop in the air as sparks flew from her body.
[POST BIG BANG TRANSLATION!]
Digital leapt at the Gurongi, spinning around and swinging her tail. Only for the Gurongi to fire a blast of sound from her helmet that slammed into the Kamen Rider. Sparks flew from her body as she fell towards the ground.
[PRE HISTORY TRANSLATION!]
Digital turned her wings into light and shot into the sky, avoiding a swing from the Gurongi's wings.
[PRE BIG BANG TRANSLATION!]
[PRE BIG BANG TRANSLATION!]
Digital shot into the air and fired a feather from each wing. They left trails of golden light behind them as they pincered in on the Gurongi. Xu Goma Gu shot back as feather chased her, flying around the room. Only to get a fist to the face from Digital. As she flew back, the feather slammed into her and sliced into her back.
[PRE BIG BANG TRANSLATION!]
[POST BIG BANG TRANSLATION!]
Digital spun in the air, swinging her tail at the Gurongi's head. The Gurongi dropped down, causing her to miss, but Digital threw her right fist down, firing a beam of golden light from it. The Gurongi fired a blast of sound up from her helmet that dispelled the laser.
The Gurongi was coated in sonic energy as she shot into the air at Digital.
[ANGEGREY!]
[FULLY TRANSLATED!]
Pure-blue and holy-white energy exploded out of Digital's body and gathered around her right boot. She pointed her boot down and shot down. The boot and the head slammed into each other. It was a stalemate before the energy formed into a dinosaur head that bit down on the Gurongi's head. "COURAGEOUS LIGHT!" The sonic energy around the Xu Goma Gu Gurongi shattered, allowing Digital to kick her in the face. She was sent flying into the ground where she exploded!
Battle ended!
