The Springlocks were a failed design by me, a method to wear a robotic suit, in case of certain situations. The Springlocks on Fredbear were perfect, they never failed on me, nor on anyone else, which is why Fredbear was then used later on in the first Freddy Fazbear's. Springbonnie was a different story, however. William's goals would not become apparent to me until years later, with a price to pay.

Springbonnie's locks were not based off of my design. My design was a set of coils, that would retract until securely loaded, not being set off unless the user was willing. This was to ensure complete safety. The suits used on Springbonnie, and subsequent suits, was based off of William's design. Basically, a dial with a red light was like a dinner timer. It would be "wound" up in a circular motion, and would constantly tick down over an hour. You'd always hear a *ticking* while inside one, which would do worse for you. You'd sweat. And that didn't help.

God, I wish they screamed. His Springlocks sliced their vocal cords, they couldn't even release their pain. And the blood, oh god the blood. I was never a religious man back then, but I prayed their souls would be safe if and when that happened.

William's Springlock design got the suits retired after the *incident*. An incident that would forever change my life, career, and many others. Except they weren't even alive.
