Chapter 1:The Awakening

Disclaimer: I don't own Rwby or Solo Leveling

Why?

Why?!

Why?!

Why am I so weak?! It's been over a month since I joined Beacon Academy, and I have been training just as hard as the others! So why?! Why am I still so weak?!

I just lost to Cardin…again, I looked at my friends to see their reaction; Pyrrha is giving me a strained smile while trying to comfort me and Nora is threatening to break Cardin's legs while Ren is trying to calm her down.

Chuckling a little bit I decided to go to the training room and practice with the robots. In the center of the training room, I set the robots to level 3 so I can get better.

"Haaah!!" I let out a battle cry as I slashed at one of the three robots I'm training with only to get hit from behind by the other two.

Hissing in pain I bring my shield up and block the oncoming attacks while looking for an opening. There's a three-second pause in between attacks, if my timing is right I should be able to take them down.

1…2…NOW!! I lunged forward to the nearest robot and decapitated it, I heard a robot charging at me I turned around to block it but I was too slow and its punch knocked me down.

"Training session over." I hear the robot that knocked me down call out, like magic or more like science the remaining robots moved back to their charging station and powered down.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here." I hear a voice full of arrogance at the entrance of the room, I groan mentally knowing well who that voice belongs to.

"What do you want Cardin?" I ask internally hoping that he isn't here to mess with me again.

"Well seeing how you're not getting any better after a month of training I thought it would be best to train you myself." He said cockily, I don't believe him one bit so I'll just politely refuse.

"Sorry Cardin, but I have to go and finish my homework." I said quickly, maybe a little too quickly since seems to catch on and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Awwww, don't be like that it'll be fun I promise." He said grinning at me, spoiler alert it wasn't fun.

Being shoved into a locker is not fun; especially if the locker blasts off into the Emerald Forest and I should know since I was currently in said locker!! The good news is that I wasn't injured at all, but the bad news is that I crashed near an Ursa Major.

Seeing the demonic bear my first thought was to run but I dismissed that thought knowing that I'm not fast enough to outrun an Ursa Major that only leaves me two choices one just accept my fate or two FIGHT!!

I unsheathed Crocea Mors and charged at the Ursa Major with a battle cry; I brought my shield up to parry the first attack it throws at me and I swung my sword at its head with the intent of decapitation but it blocks it and bites my right arm through flesh and bone.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" I screamed out in pain but I pushed onward; determined to kill this monster I grabbed my sword with my left hand and slashed at the Ursa's eyes blinding it.

It howled in pain and began to mindlessly attack trying to hit me but I was already out of its range waiting to deal the killing blow. When the Ursa stopped seemingly tired I rushed at it with speed I never knew I had and decapitated it in one swift move.

Tired and bleeding out I lay down on the trunk of the nearest tree and grabbed my scroll to call for help but to only see it broken.

"Ugh damnit, it must have been destroyed when I crashed or during the battle." I groaned as I feel my conscious fade.

[Ding!]

Huh? What was that? I opened my eyes to see a golden screen floating in front of me.

[Hidden Quest Completed!]

[Determination of the Weak]

[Therefore you have earned the right to become a player do you accept?]

[Y/N]

[WARNING!!]

[If you don't accept your heat will stop in 10 seconds.]

If you put it like that then I don't have a choice now do I? Whatever I accept.

[Welcome, Player.]

That was the last thing I read before falling unconscious.

I woke up to see an unfamiliar ceiling; sitting up I decided to look around to see where I'm at.

"Looks like Beacon's infirmary but…how did I get here?" I asked myself before seeing a redhead laying near my lap.

What's Pyrrha doing here? I thought to myself before facepalming.

"Right she's my partner of course she would be here." I said before laying back down so I won't disturb Pyrrha's rest.

Once I do that I hear the door open; I turned my head to see who it is and unsurprisingly it was Headmaster Ozpin.

"Hello Mr. Arc, I'm glad to see that you're awake you've been asleep for nearly two weeks."

What?! That's how long I slept?! Man imagine all the work that piled up, must be at least three hours of work.

"If you are worried about the assignments you missed then you don't have to worry, Ms. Nikos here has been taking notes for you."

Ah, I should of known Pyrrha would do that she's just that nice; what will I do without her.

"Also I would like to formally apologize to you, if we had known that Mr. Winchester would do such a thing we could have prevented it; let it be known that Mr. Winchester will be severely punished for his actions."

And with that Headmaster Ozpin turned around and exited the room. Laying back down again I hear a familiar ring, looking up I see the golden screen again.

[Ding!]

[Daily Quest:Getting Stronger]

[Curl-Ups 0/100]

[Squats 0/100]

[Running 0/10km]

[WARNING!!]

[Failure to complete the quest will result in punishment.]

"Sigh, I'm too tired for this right now." I said as I close my eyes and drifted away from reality.

[You have failed to complete the daily quest. You are now being sent to the penalty zone for a set amount of time.]

I woke up to the feeling of solid ground; sitting up I look around to see that I'm in a dungeon or something.

[Ding!]

Hearing the ding once again I look at the golden screen to see the following words:

[Penalty Quest:Survive.]

[Goal:Survive until the time runs out.]

[Time Required:4 Hours]

[Time Remaining:3 H 59 Min 57 Sec]

[Good Luck!]

As soon as I got finished reading that 10 Orcs appeared out of the shadows.

"Hahaha…you're kidding right…?" I mumbled before running in the opposite direction of the Orcs.
