Chapter 3:Boss Fight

When I entered the boss room I saw a shield in the corner of my eye.
"It may not be my shield but it'll do," I said strapping the shield on my left arm while scanning the room. I notice a giant skeleton with shining green eyes and a black robe sitting on a throne.
"Why isn't he attacking me? Maybe he just hasn't noticed yet." I whispered while taking note of the boss's name.
[The Litch Warlock]
Dark red, I have to be careful here he's a warlock, and based on my knowledge of video games I guess that he works better for long-range attacks but I'm not completely sure.
"Well, there's only one way to find out," I whispered before moving in closer to the warlock silently. Once I got close enough I jumped out of the shadows and slashed at it but before the hit could connect I was hit by a green ball of energy.
"I WaS WoNdeRinG WhEn yOu WoULd ShOw YOuRseLf." A raspy voice called out, I look up at the warlock to see it was still on the throne.
"What the hell was that?" I muttered getting up from the ground to try again. This time I activated 'Sprint' and rushed forward with my shield raised.
"It'S UsELeSs." the warlock said before sending dozens of green fire at me. With my shield raised, I manipulated my aura to enhance my senses giving me the ability to dodge his attacks more easily. Getting past his attacks I slashed at him again only slashing a small part of his robe before getting blasted back by wind magic.
"Ugh, ok close range is not doing so well," I muttered looking at him again but noticing a green light in the area I attacked.
"Is that his weakness? How am I supposed to get to it without getting blasted away?" I muttered before getting an idea I don't know if it would work but it won't hurt to try…hopefully.
"I GrOw TiReD oF ThIs GaME BoY, I'm EnDiNg ThiS NoW." The Warlock said before charging what I assume to be his ultimate move. Ok aura don't fail me now, I started coating my sword in aura it was a little hard but I managed to make it work.
"If iT MaKeS yOu fEel aNy BetTeR yOu wEre ThE GrEatEsT eNtERtAINmENT I HaD iN CeNtUrIES." He said before blasting a green wave of energy at me. Taking a deep breath I slashed my sword at the attack and hoped for the best, looking forward I see that my idea worked! An arc of aura fired from my sword cut through the warlock's attack.
"W-wHaT?!" The Warlock shouted in shock, panting I checked my 'Status'.

Seeing that my fatigue is near the limit I fired two more arcs of aura at the warlock's weak point dealing a fatal blow to it.
"H-hOw DiD yoU-tHis Is ImPoSsiBlE!!!" He shouted before losing the light in his eyes, falling to my back I heard the pleasant ding of me leveling up.

"Huff…huff…huff…time…to…go…back." I panted before getting up and leaving the dungeon.

When I got out of the dungeon I noticed that it was past curfew, knowing this I rushed back to my dorm before Ms.Goodwitch caught me. Walking into my dorm I proceeded to pass out on the closest bed, after a long and hard day sleeping on a nice and cozy bed is the best feeling in the world. Before falling asleep completely I noticed red and silky in my vision, thinking it was nothing I fell into dreamland.

After a good night's rest, I woke up to the feeling of something cuddly in my arms I looked to see what it is only to find out it was a person…a girl to be exact…the same girl who happens to be my partner. I must have laid down in the wrong bed last night, I looked around for a way to get out of this situation discreetly and I heard a click of a camera, turning to the direction of the sound I noticed Ren smirking at me and Nora giggling like a maniac while taking photos.
"Delete them!" I whispered/yelled, Nora only giggled even more then responded.
"No way fearless leader these babies are going to be saved for centuries!" Nora exclaimed waking Pyrrha up. She sat up looking around in a daze before finally realizing what was going on and turning beet red.
"H-hey Pyrrha sorry about this I was tired last night and I wasn't thinking so I just went to sleep in the nearest bed." I hurriedly said hoping I didn't make her mad.
"I-It's fine, it's not like I mind anyway." She muttered but I was able to hear her clearly, turning beet red myself I tried to change the subject.
"I'm going to go meet Professor Ozpin and ask about getting me a new set of armor I'll probably be back an hour later," I said as I got dressed and quickly left the dorm.
"So…how was your sleep Pyrrha?" The last thing I heard was a cute squeak before closing the door.
…
"So will you be able to get me a new set of armor?" I ask Professor Ozpin, he just looks at me with a blank expression while drinking his coffee. His silence made me nervous, I was about to ask his answer but he answered before I asked.
"Don't worry Mr.Arc just give me the design of the armor you want and you'll have it before combat class next week." Professor Ozpin said while looking at his scroll.
"Thank you Professor Ozpin, here's the design!" I gave him the design I made right before coming here…it doesn't look good though my drawing sucks. He grabbed the paper and looked at it with a raised eyebrow but shrugged.
"Have a good day Mr.Arc I'm sure your friends would like to have you a part of their get-together today." Get-together? Oh right Ruby wanted all of us to hang out today.
"Ok see you later Professor Ozpin and thank you," I said before leaving his office. I hope nothing too major happens today…I just jinxed myself didn't I.
