Chapter 5:Forever Fall

It was a day like any other; sun shining, birds chirping, Nora eating pancakes, and a more handsome version of myself in the mirror…wait what?
"What the hell happened?!" I shouted, maybe the system did this it's probably a side effect of leveling up. As I was thinking about my current situation Pyrrha suddenly bursts into the bathroom.
"Jaune, are you alright I heard you yelling?!" I looked at her and she froze with her face becoming as red as her hair and her eyes seems to be lingering on my chest. I looked down to see that I have no shirt on.
"S-sorry I should've knocked I-I'll outside waiting for you," Pyrrha said before running out of the room and closing the door...or rather slamming the door. On a less embarrassing note, I'm ripped, gotten taller, and my chin is sharper if this is the result of the system then I like it.

Like Professor Ozpin said I got my new armor just before combat class, I haven't tried it out yet but it seems to fit well…I think. While I was zoned out thinking about my new armor I was barely able to hear what Ms. Goodwitch was saying.
"Settle down class, today we're starting things with a spar who would like to volunteer?" Well lucky me I get to test out my new armor and see how much I have improved. I was about to volunteer but someone beat me to it.
"I do ma'am!" I looked in the direction of the voice to see Cardin with a very arrogant smirk.
"Is that so, then who would you like to be your opponent Mr. Winchester?" Ms. Goodwitch asked looking at Cardin plainly.
"I would like to fight Jaune Arc." He answered with an even more arrogant smirk somehow, Ms. Goodwitch just sighed and said:
"Very well Mr. Winchester, Mr.Arc go to the locker room and prepare for your spar." And with that said, I get up to go get my armor and Crocea Mors.
"Break his legs fearless leader!!" I hear Nora yell, I turn to her with a smile and told her:
"Isn't it supposed to be break a leg?" I question with a smile full of amusement. Nora grinned and simply said:
"Nope."

Standing in the arena I noticed that Cardin's form is well to put it nicely lacking, he has quite a few openings for me to attack it's like he's begging me to hit him.
"I'm sure that the both of you know the rules by now so we'll begin on the count of three." Nodding my head in acknowledgment I unsheathed my sword and activated my shield.
"Three…"I activated 'Sprint' and tense my muscles.
"Two…" I take a deep breath and focused my gaze on Cardin.
"One…" I gritted my teeth like I was about to fight for my life.
"Go!!" I charged at Cardin and swung my shield at his head to lessen his focus. Once the hit connects he…fainted?
"…huh?" If someone can read my mind all they would see is confusion. I looked at Ms. Goodwitch for her thoughts but she looked as confused as I am.
"Umm, the winner of this spar is Jaune Arc." Although they were in a state of shock some of them managed to gather their thoughts to congratulate me.
"Yeah that's my fearless leader, you kicked his butt!!"
Never change Nora, never change.

It's been a couple of days since the spar and Cardin has been glaring daggers at me ever since it feels like he's planning something. On a side note, I have been leveling up quite a bit.

Ms. Goodwitch is taking us to the Forever Fall forest for some sap she also told us to stay with our team since the forest is full of Grimm.
"Ren, can you stop Nora from eating all of our sap?" I asked Ren, he nodded and tried to take the sap from Nora once we were out of her I turned to Pyrrha and said:
"While Ren is distracting Nora let's fill up these jars."
"Ok but let's do this quickly I don't think Ren can hold her off for long," Pyrrha said and we immediately got to work. About thirty minutes in I sensed something heading our way.
"Pyrrha move!!" Despite me shouting this I knew there wasn't enough time for her to move so I used 'Sprint' to grab her and move out of the way. I looked in the direction of the object landing to see a broken jar of sap.
"Who the hell threw that?" I asked myself then I looked in the direction of where the jar came from and used some aura on my eyes to see who threw it.

Ignoring the notification in the distance I see Cardin and his goons up on a hill, I was about to go over to them but Pyrrha drew my attention away from them.
"Ummm, can you put me down now Jaune?" She asked, I looked at her to see that her face is as red as her hair, I was about to ask her what was wrong till I noticed that I was carrying her princess style. Blushing out of embarrassment I put her down looking away awkwardly.
"URSA BIG URSA!!" I looked at the person to see who was yelling and I see Cardin's teammates running away like a kid when a stranger talked to them, wait where's Cardin, did they leave him?
"Ok umm, Pyrrha can you wait here while I go save Cardin?" I ask her but I didn't wait for an answer and rushed to Cardin. It took me a minute to get there but I made it on time the Ursa almost slashed or is it clawed Cardin's head off I got in front of the attack and used my shield to parry it.
"J-jauney boy why did you save me?!" Cardin asked me confused, well if I was him I would be confused too why would the dude you was bullying save you.
"Look Cardin I may not like you much-uh at all but that not a reason to let you die all you really were doing was being a racist asshole not enough to get you killed…I think." I said as I decapitated the Ursa with ease then pointing my sword at him.
"But let it be known that if you mess with me or my friends again I will make sure you regret it for the rest of your life." I said as I used my aura to put pressure on him to intimidate him a bit.

I guess Cardin is really weaker the me now seeing that he pissed his pants. Anyway this skill will be useful in the future so I can avoid fights and oops I forgot to stop the skill. Once doing so I look at Cardin to see him passed out…I'm not sorry.
