"Are you sure you'll be alright?" Alexa asked.
"Yes, mom," Gaia joked. "You're only gonna be gone for one night. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."
"Of course I worry," Alexa said.

Gaia pulled Alexa into her arms for a hug.

"I'll be fine," Gaia said again. "I'm gonna watch horror movies and stuff myself with junkfood."
"I wanna stay with you now," Alexa said.
"It's not worth being fired over," Gaia smiled. "Go and do your job. There's a reason they're sending you. Because you're the fucking best."
"I'm the fucking best," Alexa grinned. "Love you."
"Love you too," Gaia said.

As soon as Alexa was gone, Gaia picked up the book about demons and went to her apartment. Everything was as she had left it the night before. She lit the candle and read out the old Nordic verse three times. Everything happened like the night before. The cold, the snowstorm, the demon appearing in front of her.

"Not many people have the nerves to summon me twice but I knew you would," he said.
"A life for a life. Is that the deal?" She asked.
"It's a fair deal," he said.
"But does it have to be my life?" She asked.

He smirked and held out his hand to make her continue.

"Can I offer you another life to take with you instead? Without their consent? You're a fucking demon so I doubt you care about that anyway," she said.
"You're the first one to ever ask me that. Even after all these years, a human can still surprise me," he said.
"Can it be done?" She asked.
"If I like them enough, maybe," he said.

She found a picture of Seth's new girlfriend Becky on her phone and showed it to him.

"I do like what I see," he smirked. "Is she the one I can feel inside you? The one causing you all this pain shining through your eyes?"
"One of them," she said. "Her and Seth. They hurt me like I've never been hurt before. I just want them both to suffer and die."

He stepped up to her and grinned at her.

"I do like you, Gaia. Enough to still use your name as requested. However, there's only so little patience inside me. I do not like being summoned over and over without getting something in return. I have come to you twice now, and so far you've given me nothing in return. One more time and I will take someone. If you're the only one there, I will have you," he said.

She looked down at the candle and he started laughing.

"Go on. See if you can make it in time before I drag you away," she said.
"But the book said..." She whispered. "Oh, fuck it. Can we make this deal? You kill Seth and get Becky in return, and I go free?"

He moved his head from side to side as if he was thinking about it. He placed his hand on his dick and stroked it slowly. She watched in horror as the icicle became bigger and harder. That thing would be pure torture to take inside, and it would only be one of many things he would do to someone.

"You disgust me," she said.
"You turn me on," he said.
"Fuck you," she said. "Take Becky. She deserves it. She deserves you."
"Aw, thanks, human doll," he grinned. "Take me to them and I will make all your dreams come true."
"Why must I take you to them?" She asked.
"Because I don't know where they live," he chuckled. "I might be a demon but even I have my limits."

She looked outside at the heavy snowstorm and then back at him.

"How am I supposed to go in this weather?" She asked.
"You seem bright enough. You'll figure it out," he said.

She looked down at the candle and then back up at him.

"I can't take the flame outside. It'll blow out," she said.
"Then leave it here," he said.
"The further away from it you get, the more power you'll have. You'll tear half the town apart before I make it back to blow it out," she said.
"And I'll have so much fun doing it," he said.
"No, I can't let you do that," she said.

She picked up the candle and held it in front of her. He started grinning again.

"Even with you holding it, I can still get my claws in you before you as much as open your mouth to blow out your breath," he said.
"So why don't you?" She asked.
"Is it an invitation?" He asked.
"Just a question," she answered.
"I'm tired of your silly, little games, human. I'm done playing nice. Make up your mind. My time isn't yours to waste. Either bring me to them or let me have you," he said.
"Fuck you, Finn," she said.

She blew out the candle and he disappeared in thin air. She walked over to the window and watched the snow melting. He had warned her. If she summoned him again, he would take someone. If she was the only one there, she would be the one to fall. She had to make a choice right now. Either leave this whole demon thing be, or make everything right in the third try.

"Fuck you!" She gritted her teeth. "I'm coming for you, Seth."
