Early Life:
Born in Menagerie, Elizabeth was an orphan, who desired to be one of the most fearsome warriors of Menagerie, even wanting to be its Chieftess.
Elizabeth had no standard Huntsmen training, yet she was one of the most skilled fighters Menagerie had ever seen. By the age of 13, she participated in Menageries's "Mars Festival" where that year a fighting tournament was held. Betty quickly defeated most of the fighters she went up against, most of the fights never lasted long, but the one fight lasted much longer than the rest, She fought with Barick Belladonna, a Cheeta Faunus and the son of the Chief at the time, but she later won.
Since then, she and Barick formed a friendship that would last through even the toughest of times. Barick was the first to call her Betty, which she gladly accepted being called.
By the time she was 15, and after hearing what was happening to Faunus around the world, She and Barick quickly joined the Faunus Revolutionary Army. They traveled the world, fighting for the rights their people deserved, due to her strength and being well-known in Menagerie, she was given the rank of General.
She first went to Mistral, where she and her men fought against a large-scale group of Huntsmen, in that battle, Betty fought a team of 4 Pro-Huntsmen, however, despite their high Rank in the Huntsmen world, Betty defeated them all with ease. An amazing feat for a single person, this slowly began her legend.
She fought countless Huntsmen alongside her men and took control of some towns, and despite the propaganda that was spread about her, she defended the towns she and her men took control of. Many who saw Elizabeth fight, noted her incredible fighting power, unimaginable strength, Her tremendous Aura Levels, and her quick mastery of many weapons. Many said that when they looked at Betty, they saw pitch black before fainting, describing her stare as able to knock out over 1,000 huntsmen! Many in Mistral feared her, and because of her aura color and clothing, she was given her famous nickname, "Black Betty".
However, during the 2nd year of the war and just a few months after she freed the Faunus of Anima, she was later needed in Solitas as it was harder there for the Faunus due to having the great Nicholas Schnee, a man said to be one of the Strongest Huntsmen in their country, on their side, holding them back with his semblances. He managed to completely wipe out most of their forces and hearing that they were losing the fight in Atlas, Barick, taking over the leadership of the entire Army, asked her to deal with him, and Betty was more than happy to oblige.
Many soldiers and even Nicholas himself waited for the arrival of Betty, and when she arrived and challenged them, they fought, however, Betty used some sort of technique and knocked out all of the soldiers, shocking many who were able to stay conscious.
However, Nicholas was unaffected by her technique and proceeded to battle with her, he swung his Greatsword, and Betty swung her Cutless, and when they clashed, there was space in between the two blades, and it was as if some sort of force was stopping the two from swords touching, but the power was strong enough to shake the ground and break the sky apart!
The fight between Betty and Nicholas lasted for 3 days, and only breaks came during the night... in the end, it ended in a tie, however, during the fight, Betty and Nicholas became friends, and Nicholas understood the pain of her people as he too felt the Faunus were harshly mistreated, so when he had returned to Atlas, Nicholas "begged" the Council to change their laws, and after a heavy debate, the Council agreed and Nicholas delivered the news to Betty personally and she remained there until for the remainder of the war, making sure the change happened.
During her time there, Betty and Nicholas learned more about each other and learned about his start-up Dust mining company as the SDC and he wanted her to help her with his worker laws due that both Faunus and humans would be paid the same and treated with the same respect.
Betty and Nicholas became fast friends and both even defended Mantle themselves from a large hoard of Grimm who were attracted by the negativity of the War.
Finally, after Vale submitted and after 3 years, the Faunus Revolution ended. Many Faunus returned home to Menagerie, some stayed as they found homes in each of the four kingdoms.
Betty returned home, only to tell Barick goodbye as she was going to travel around the world and see if there were people just as strong as her and Nicholas in the world. He wished her luck and prayed for her safety, Betty did the same and she left Menagerie at the age of 18.
Betty first went to Vale where her legend grew as she took up a few jobs and helped the people, killing Grimm, rescuing towns, and fighting off any rouge Huntsmen she came across.
It was only a few months later that Betty met Johnathan Arc who was 20 at the time, and who was simply a normal Huntsman who was protecting the town of Ansel. Betty and Johnathan spared while she stayed in Ansel and during that time, Betty saw just how much of a skilled Huntsmen Johnathan was, and saw just how much the people of Ansel beloved and respected him as their protector, and yet, Johnathan would always be humble, saying that he was simply doing his job, and would do what any decent person would do, which Betty found quite unique. Most humans and Faunus would boast about their brave deeds and claims how great and powerful they were, yet, Johnathan never would.
When Betty asked him why Johnathan said this:
"Why would I brag about my Job? It's the same Job as all the Huntsmen out there, who cares if I kill a powerful Grimm, stopped a group of Bandits, or saved a young woman in need? The only thing I care about is if I saved the life of the defenseless or the people I hold dear to my soul, I want to bring warmth and happiness to the people around me,"
Betty saw the smile on his face when he spoke those words and those words and most of all that smile, it struck her heart and left such an impact on her soul. Since then Betty had stayed In Ansel, and she had become smitten with Johnathan, where she too had defended the town alongside him.
However, she and Johnathan would leave Ansel when Betty got a call from Barick, who called her to let him know about his marriage and invited her and anyone she wanted to come with her.
Coming to the wedding, Betty was still praised as a Hero and many thanked her for all the good she's done for their people, and Betty was overjoyed to be home after what felt like years. She reunited with Barick and was introduced to his wife-to-be, Korra, a black wolf Faunus.
Betty and Johnathan were present at the wedding and during the reception, Betty confessed to Johnathan who was surprised but admitted that he too liked her and a relationship sparked between the two and later returned to Ansel, where they continued to protect its people and take up local huntsmen jobs.
Later, at the age of 20, Betty married Johnathan Arc, who was now 22, and the two held a wedding in Ansel which Barick, Korra, and Nicholas were invited to. During the wedding, Betty met Johnathan's Parents, Viktor and Emily Arc, who gladly welcomed her into the family.
During the whole time, Betty felt the most happiness she had ever felt because she felt that she had truly made a family.
However, two months later, Betty was called to Atlas who needed her help as well as Nicholas's to track down a Rouge Huntsmen who had been threatening the Council.
After much investigation work and traveling, Betty and Nicholas found the Rouge who called himself "Belmond" in southern Anima, and the two proceeded to fight with him.
However, he proved to be much more difficult to face as he gave Betty and Nicholas a tough fight. Belmond was somehow much stronger than both of them combined, able to beat even the toughest summons Nicholas threw his way, and Belmond was able to beat, counter, and hit Betty. Eventually, with their combined forces, Nicholas and Betty defeated Belmond and kill him, though the two were heavily exhausted and wounded.
Thankfully, both were saved by the locals and after recovering enough to travel, Nicholas and Betty parted ways. Betty returned to Ansel where she reunited with her husband and Nicholas returned to Atlas to continue running the SDC.
A few months later, after returning to Ansel, Betty found out she was pregnant and told the good news to the Arc Family, where Johnathan proceeded to faint. A baby shower was held by Emily, Korra, and a few of the other mothers in Ansel.
However, during the first ultrasound, it was revealed that Betty would be having a Trichorionic Triamniotic pregnancy.
Or as Betty politely cried:
"I'M HAVING THREE FUCKING CUBS!?"
Johnathan once again proceeded to faint.
Finally, 9 months later, the Arc triplets were born. From oldest to youngest in terms of minutes were: Felix, Nicholas, and Athena.
Felix was named after Johnathan's grandfather, Nicholas was named after Nicholas of course, and Athena was named after the Menagerie Goddess of War.
While all three appeared to be normal Humans, Felix and Athena were the only two to receive traits from their mother. Felix got a tail and Athena's teeth were more bear-like, Leaving Nicholas with no traits.
A year later, Betty and Johnathan were later invited to Nicholas's wedding, and with the triplets, Betty congratulated her friend and celebrated his marriage to a woman named Diana Quinn, however, Betty and Johnathan were told by the newlyweds that Diana was already pregnant which is one of the reasons they were getting married and Nicholas and Diana had agreed to make Betty and Johnathan the God-Parents and while denying that she cried, Betty was indeed tearful and accepted, as did Johnathan.
A few months after Nicholas's wedding, Betty, Johnathan, and the triplets had taken a trip to Menagerie, where she found out that Barick had told her he had a son, Ghira Belladonna, who was a Black-Cat Faunus. Betty was happy he had a son and that his life was doing well, he too wanted Betty and Johnathan to be the God-Parents of Ghira and once again, Betty tearfully yet happily agreed.
Betty was mostly called on Missions while Johnathan stayed in Ansel and took local jobs, which meant that Betty was mostly gone and traveled around the world doing some big missions for the council. During a few Missions in Vale and in Anima, she encountered "The Grimm Reaper" or really Maria Calavera, and the two formed a bond along the way and spared a few times, it was fighting with Maria that Betty discovered someone just as strong and as powerful as herself and Nicholas.
In fact, during some free time, the two visited Atlas where the two also spared against Nicholas at Atlas Academy. It was said that the fight between the three shook Atlas and many worried that it was so powerful that Atlas might Fall!
However, Betty began missing her husband and children, so after one last mission in Mistral, Betty later returned and stayed with Johnathan and her kids in Ansel, mostly taking local jobs while teaching her kids how to fight in case they encountered Grimm or rouges.
Later Life:
Later in life, Betty was asked by Ozpin to become Beacon's new Combat instructor, to which Betty agreed too because she felt she could actually teach students besides her own son, Nicholas. She taught her son as his team, known as team ACRN (Acorn) and Team's STRQ, PREY, and BAIG (Baige).
Later, she was also introduced into Ozpin's inner circle and was later told about the Maidens, Salem, and the Relics, and while in shock, she agreed to still be a part of the Circle and help Ozpin in any way she could.
It's unknown what she's done for him in the past but due to the circle growing bigger with people such as the other three headmasters, as well as Qrow and Glynda, she seems to be taking it easy and not doing much except for traveling the world.
The latest event she was a part of was her fight with Raven Branwen, which lasted 7 hours and which destroyed a 10-mile radius of a forested area in southern Anima.
