Timeskip 6 months before the academic year
It was an ominous night as I walked through the empty streets. For some reason, I couldn't sleep. It was as if I knew something was going to happen. Not caring where I was going, I ended up by the clan districts. Suddenly a black shadow came out of one of the districts with a big sack on his back. Feeling my sensing telling me about his malicious intent, I quickly ran after him. "Naruto, be careful. By his speed, he is likely at least a chuunin, if not a jonin." Minato quickly relayed to his son. However, that warning was apparently not needed. Suddenly, a piercing cry came from the person carrying the sac.
Dropping the sac in his panic, I could finally see the sac wiggling around 'Kidnapper.' I finally realized with a start after putting all the clues together. I quickly dashed to the sac and untied the rope at the top. Lavender eyes that sparkled like two moons in the darkness promptly looked up at me. 'A Hyuuga,' I recognized from the activated byakugan. Getting over the pain, the kidnapper quickly turned around. Putting my guard up, "Kurama, I might need your help here."
"So the kit finally asked for my power; about time; I was getting bored anyway," Kurama remarked. The girl with her dark blue hair stepped up next to me in a stance I didn't recognize. "Well, look what we have here, the weak princess and the blonde midget playing hero. The byakugan will be ours, and the cloud will reign supreme once again." The now identified cloud ninja said. I felt a well of power suddenly rise before me, red with flecks of gold cloak covering me in a shape of a fox with a tail swinging behind me. "KYUUBI, well shit, looks like the cloud is getting its third jinchuuriki and the weak Hyuuga princess, you will be fine additions indeed," the cloud ninja said. I rushed forward, the girl right on my heels.
Not able to control my speed, I appeared right behind him. Shocked at the rate that the kid moved, he couldn't react to the sudden jyuken strike to the back, launching him forward only for Naruto to land a Kurama enhance punch to the temple. The man could only crumple to the ground unconscious. Turning to the girl, his cloak disappearing, "What is your name Hyuuga-hime and how were you able to move like that? Not even Neji-teme can move that fast?" Naruto asked in awe at how she moved fluidly like water. The girl could only lightly blush at the compliment and how he addressed her, " My name is Hinata Hyuuga. I learned from my mother. She has taught me the basics so far, and why would you say I am a princess?." She answered. "What is your name?" She replied after figuring out that she knew nothing about her savior.
"Oh, my bad, Hinata-hime, I am Naruto Uzumaki," Naruto answered. "Well, Mr. Uzumaki, nice to meet you," Hinata replied with a mischievous tone. "Don't call me Uzumaki-san. Call me Naruto," I whined. "Then don't call me hime hmph." And so an argument started. This was the scene upon which a fully armored Hokage and the Patriarch and Matriarch of the Hyuuga came.
Two arguing kids and a beaten and unconscious cloud ninja. Finally, the kids noticed their audience and quickly stopped their argument. "HITOMI-CHAN! Besty, can you hear me?!" But was promptly ignored by the other three people who could hear her. "Well, can anyone tell me what happened here and where that powerful chakra came from?" Hiruzen asked until he saw Naruto lifts his hand and point at his stomach Hiruzen and the Hyuuga, who saw this, quickly caught the hint. His parents trying to help their son gain some allies told him to address the two Hyuuga. "Mom, the red badass, says hi along with dad, the speedy yellow." He said to the two adults. The two looked shocked before comprehension of the situation took hold of their minds. " I see; well, Hyuuga Hiashi sends his regards along with Hyuuga Hitomi." The now-named Hiashi responded. If they were shocked, they didn't show it. "Anbu, take the prisoner to his cell. I want any information about his mission and who sent him. " the Hokage ordered. Instantly there were three Anbu, and with a quick 'Hai Hokage-sama.' The prisoner and they were gone. After that was dealt with and the kids told them what had happened, the parents left with Hinata but not before they had told Naruto he could come to visit any time he wished as he was a friend of the Hyuuga. The rest of the months were spent with Hinata and Naruto playing, talking, and training together, getting ready for the academy.
Timeskip to the beginning of the academic year
As I walked, I couldn't help but look back at what I had accomplished the past year. After getting the supplies from Tenten's dad, I trained with my parents and Kurama as my trainers. I surpassed the limits I had before.
A quick run down, I can safely channel Kurama's chakra. However, weirdly, gold at times, as opposed to the usual red Kurama, told me that I would be ready to use it once I learned a third chakra energy to combine mine and his to form a stabilized gold chakra. I managed to do right by my heritage and get to the intermediate level of sealing thanks to the safehouses I had visited over the village. I managed to get a handle on my taijutsu and basic ninjutsu (although bunshin is still a pain). While my shurikenjutsu also improved. My parents told me I would be around mid genin level right now.
As he entered the academy and arrived at his classroom, he looked around and saw many clan heirs and a familiar face. She sat next to a brown-haired boy with a dog on his head and red rectangles on his chess. 'An Inuzuka,' I thought. The girl's eyes lit up joy at seeing her secret best friend. "This will be an interesting class," Naruto thought, wondering how the following years in the academy go by.
