Carlisle eased his car down the driveway after practically speeding home in the steady snow. He tried to remain neutral but all of his emotions were heightened, and he found it difficult to bring them down. Maybe it was because he knew, subconsciously, there was no reason to put a wall up.

He walked through the front door and looked around, seeing only Emmett playing a video game in front of the television in the living room. He turned his head away from the flatscreen and gave a quick, "What's up?" before continuing to hammer away at the controller.

"Where is everyone?" Carlisle asked, though he specifically meant Bella.

"Back deck," Emmett explained, pumping his fist just after as he scored a touchdown. "Yes!" He glanced over at him, "Rose and Jas are playing some lame chess game in the dining room."

Carlisle chuckled and and hung his jacket before making his way out back. He clicked open the door and heard Bella and Alice laughing.

Bella froze when she saw walk through the open door and a rush of butterflies made home in her stomach. She forgot how much she missed that, too - the rush of excitement just by the sudden company of a certain someone.

Alice smiled to herself, knowing very well what Bella was feeling. It still happened with Jasper; though she remembered the very beginning of her relationship and how new that feeling was.

"I just came out to say hi," Carlisle explained, putting a hand up. When he sensed they were about to get up he shook his head. "Don't stop what you're doing."

"We've been in here awhile," Alice explained as she hopped out and wrapped a towel around herself.

Bella let out a sigh and followed Alice. Both of them could tell that Carlisle was trying not to stare but his glance away was almost too obvious. He held his breath for as long as he could until a short conversation started up again.

"Me and Rosalie are going to get our nails done," Alice explained. "Take my robe, Bella." She nodded toward the white, terry cloth robe and Bella shrugged it on.

Alice gave a look over her shoulder at them and smirked to herself before she went inside. Watching them tiptoe around each other in this initial stage of their relationship made her happy.

"Hey," Bella said to him, slinging her damp hair to one side against the collar of the robe.

"Hi." Carlisle gave a little smile. "You and Alice could've stayed-"

"It's okay," Bella assured him, "We were in there awhile like she said. How was your day at the hospital."

"Fine," Carlisle said with a nod. "Pretty typical I guess."

"Good." She felt like she could say a thousand things to him but her brain couldn't choose any one of them. Bella opened her mouth to speak and then fell silent.

Carlisle sat partway on the edge of the hot tub and looked directly at Bella. "How are you.. feeling?" He asked.

"Good." She gave a nod and scolded herself for not elaborating. Bella was a bit speechless after not seeing Carlisle all day. She practically had the whole day to process and think about the entire ordeal but now that he stood in front of her she didn't know what to say.

"Are you sure?" His eyes seemed to study her expression. Bella in no way wanted him to think the night before was anything less than a dream come true - an erotic, wet dream at that. "I just don't want you to feel rushed or -"

"I don't.. at all, Carlisle." Bella shook her head and decided to be honest. "I've been thinking about it all day, actually."

Carlisle nodded as if to say he understood.

"Do you.. you don't regret.. anything?" Bella asked him, feeling that anxious buildup in her stomach again as she awaited his response. It felt like it took several minutes but it couldn't have been longer than a second or two.

"No." Carlisle shook his head and rose back to his feet.

"Take my Jeep," Emmett shouted from inside, making the two of them turn at the same time toward the house before both Alice and Rosalie thanked him as they prepared to head to the salon.

Through the window they could see him toss the keys and so Carlisle nodded toward the edge of the house that rounded a corner to the side where there were no windows so they could talk.

"I'm sorry if I'm coming across as.. needy or something," Bella apologized but Carlisle pressed his eyebrows together and shook his head.

"I don't think you're coming across the way at all."

"I asked you to.. stay. I shouldn't have."

Carlisle tipped the corner of his mouth up in a little smirk. "I wanted to stay. So, perhaps, I'm the one who's a bit needy."

Bella smiled at him and saw his posture lighten up. "Alice knows," she said honestly and Carlisle huffed a little laugh.

"That was inevitable." He had to ask. "Everything?"

Bella gave a little nod. "She told me she knew even before you left to go to Forks."

"Alice.." Carlisle put his hands on his hips and shared a little grin with Bella.

She looked him up and down and leaned against the side of the house, shoving her hands into the oversized pockets of the bathrobe. "So when do we.. tell everyone else? Do we tell everyone else?" Bella didn't know the rules but she guessed they were making them up as they went.

Carlisle toyed with the freshly fallen snow with his shoe and slowly took a few steps in Bella's direction upon hearing the Jeep pull away down the driveway. "I actually don't have an answer to that."

Bella reached her arms out when he got close enough and she pulled him to her by the waist. Their lips connected and Bella felt that warmth she had been craving all day in his absence.

When his hand snaked beneath her robe to caress her side before resting on her back she shuddered, craving more of his touch. Everything he did was intoxicating.

Carlisle pulled her body to his as they kissed again in a more heated fashion. "I'm sorry," he choked out, taking in their surroundings for a moment. "I'm not usually.. this.." Whatever the word was that Carlisle was looking for, it didn't come to him.

"Let's.. go upstairs," Bella urged, and looked up into his golden eyes. "Please?"

Carlisle felt his hormones surge at her desperate little plea. He had all but forgotten how it felt to be in a brand new relationship.

"You go in the front, I'll go in the back by the porch?" Bella raised her eyebrows and he gave a nod before pulling her back in for another kiss that left both of them sighing again as they parted.

Carlisle stepped back and Bella kept his hand in hers until they couldn't reach one another anymore. She let out a deep breath and rounded back onto the deck and wandered inside.

Emmett still played the video game with a set of headphones on and shouted into a mouth piece. "You like that end zone dance?"

Much to her surprise, Jasper drummed away at a controller next to him, also with a headset on as they competed either against one another or as a team against whoever Emmett was shouting at one the other end.

Carlisle entered through a door that led to the garage and that was Bella's cue to hurry up the stairs. As she was about to rush into her room she felt Carlisle grab her from behind in the hallway and tow her into his bedroom.

He closed the door behind them and pinned Bella against it where they began to makeout as if they hadn't seen each other in years. In some ways, they hadn't.

"Carlisle," she breathed his name and he laughed lightly.

"Shh.." he kissed her again.

Bella untied her robe and let it fall to the floor. Carlisle picked her up by the backs of her thighs and her arms coiled around him.

He centered her on his cozy, king sized bed and flicked on the nightstand lamp before drawing the curtains in the room that overlooked the backyard from above and hitting the dimmer on the recess lighting above on the high ceiling between large, wooden beams.

Carlisle untied his tie as he kicked off his shoes and ridded himself of his shirt before dropping his pants.

"Socks and boxers suit you," Bella teased him, before welcoming him on top of her. "What if Em or one of them comes up here looking for us?" She whispered.

Carlisle pulled the comforter up over the two of them so it rested partway up his back. "Just duck under the covers," he said quietly, half-kidding.

Bella smiled against his lips and both of them stopped when they heard Emmett's loud rejoice downstairs from something involving the video game he was playing.

If we can hear him, he'll be able to hear us.. if we're too loud, Bella thought.

"I guess we really do need to be quiet," she whispered, beginning to nuzzle his neck.

The second Carlisle felt her kiss him there he swallowed hard. "That's easier said than done." His eyes closed and he peeled off the top of Bella's bathing suit with one quick swipe.

She reached a hand down the center of his body as they kissed, eager to explore him in every way possible. When she reached the front of his boxer-briefs he let out a sigh he couldn't repress.

Bella felt him pull back and she took in his expression. His eyes closed in pure ecstasy and she decided to reach beneath the waistband.

"Bella.." he choked out, giving her access to him as he pushed up onto his arms above her. Seeing Carlisle so vulnerable and his his rawest form aroused her even more.

Bella felt all of him, moving her hand up and down in a slow, rhythmic pattern under his shorts. She loved taking in his changing expressions as she touched him in such a sensual way that left him sexually charged and breathing heavy.

Carlisle kept himself propped up with one hand and used the other to claw away at her bathing suit bottoms. He had to actively tell himself not to lament in pleasure as Bella continued to have her way with him.

He began to feel his dominant side emerging when she was completely naked in front of him. Carlisle shoved his boxers partway down off his hips and turned Bella so she was on her side and hooked one leg beneath his arm as he positioned himself partially behind her so he was in his side, as well.

Bella sighed and closed her eyes, allowing him to shape her however he wanted to. From her back she turned partway to where he spooned behind her and their eyes met briefly before he pushed inside of her.

"Oh.. wow.." Bella moaned the words and her head fell back onto the pillow. She was so wet that he managed to thrust in and out with ease right away.

Carlisle leaned over Bella and kissed her softly, massaging her tongue with his own each time his lips met hers. He huffed a breath in between kisses each time he threw his hips into her.

"Ohhh.. mmm.." Bella tried to be quiet as she moaned into his mouth. She had never done it in this position he had her in. It was sensual and effective. She loved to kiss as they made love.

His hand tightened around the inside of her thigh as he went a little harder, making Bella moan a little louder.

Carlisle silenced her with another kiss but as soon as their lips left one another's he struggled to hold it together, himself. He panted breaths against her ear and Bella let her head drop back as she arched her neck.

"God, Carlisle.." she could feel she was on her way to an orgasm but before Bella could tell him to keep going she felt him release into her.

He groaned against her ear and grunted as he held her leg harder and pushed himself all the way inside of her. Bella breathed heavily, turning to his his lips lazily as he gently thrusted into her now beneath the covers.

She smiled to herself, pleased at his aroused he was. Bella loved hearing him, watching him, completely come undone.

"I'm sorry," he breathed, accepting her continued attempts to kiss him.

"It's okay," Bella swallowed hard, knowing they could pick right back up where they left off. "I've never done that in that position before," she whispered, reaching to touch the side of his face as he gently nipped her neck. "Mmm.." she moaned.

"What'd you think?" He whispered against her ear.

Her eyes nearly rolled back in her head and she closed her eyes. "I think you should keep going."
