Disclaimer: I Don't Own Naruto

"Yami-Sama," Naruto bowed, looking awed at the godly sister of the underworld. "You don't have to bow to me, Naruto-kun. You are our champion, after all." She replied. "Now, I came here because of the sword you were about to touch. You see, it's a powerful relic from my domain, and somehow, it ended here in your presence and has chosen you as its wielder, no less. Usually, this should be impossible, but I guess the old fart of a dragon saw the same potential we sisters did. Be careful as you wield it. Its flames are equal to Amaterasus' flames. However, be aware of the abyssal flames, which could incinerate the world" With that warning, she kissed his cheek. She quickly left, leaving a blushing Naruto hearing wolf whistles from his dad and Kurama while Kushina just smiled cheekily. Quickly coming into focus, he looked at the sword once again.

He once again reached for the hilt and grabbed it, feeling an unnatural warmness resonating with his whole body. He was suddenly lit on fire by flames. The core was a dark red, and the rims a shadowy purple. He looked on, confused. He did not feel any pain but just pure warmth. He looked around and noticed the obsidian was cracked, allowing the blade to be pulled free. As soon as it was free, the literal air burned with black flames catching the whole tree on fire and leaving nothing but ashes behind. The sword hummed as if it was happy to be held by its wielder. A sheath suddenly appeared beside him, along with a belt to hook it on. 'thank you, Yami-sama, ' Naruto thought. Quickly equipping everything on his body, he slowly made out of the pile of ash. He was met by quite an audience which consisted of two Anbu, the Hokage and Anko. "Naruto, what happened here?" Hiruzen asked, curious as Anko had rushed to him, telling him about a black fire engulfing one of the biggest trees in the forest of death.

"Just a gift from Yami-sama," He replied as if it was no big deal. Everyone just stared at the sword as it hummed black wisps coming off it. "I can't believe it. It's actually real. The blade of legend Hi Ryu no Ikari (Fire Dragon's Wrath). I thought it was just a myth my sensei told me as a child." Hiruzen stated, gobsmacked.

Meanwhile, Anko and the two Anbu were flabbergasted. Naruto could just smile sheepishly at the attention he was getting. All the while, he was thinking how lucky he was that he was taking kenjutsu lessons from his mother. 'Time to train isn't that right, buddy' Naruto thought, looking at his sword. The sword could only hum silently to answer his question. Slowly everyone started heading back to train in preparation for the academy tomorrow. A few hours later, after a training session with his mother, tired and sweaty, he ran for his home in the Forest of Death. Naruto could only groan at the annoying alarm clock as he woke up to prepare for the academy, quickly grabbed his equipment and breakfast, and then headed out. Running through the forest never got old, as he would constantly get attacked by different things; however, a quick swing from Hi would clear them out and leave nothing behind. Arriving at the gate entrance to the forest and hopping over it quickly, he made sure that no one saw him as the villagers still thought he lived in his normal apartment. He headed over to the academy and arrived just before class started.

Everyone quickly eyed him looking at the mysterious sword hanging from the blond's waist and noticing just how breathtaking and seemingly powerful the blade was. A particular raven-haired duck butt could only seeth in pure jealousy. 'That should belong to me. That's a blade worthy of an Uchiha, not a clanless loser," Sasuke thought angrily. Getting to his seat next to Hinata, who happily waved him over and ignored the looks he got from everybody, he quickly took his seat. "Alright, class, let's sit down and continue our discussion on chakra and elemental theories. No one knew that Naruto had reached the pinnacle of chakra control in learning and using the Rasengan that he was taught by his father. He was still a bit away from using it with only one hand. So quickly paid attention to the lecture on elemental theory as that was something his father had told him to incorporate into the Rasengan to make it complete, quickly writing down his notes for future reference. "Alright, class, that's all for today. Remember to study and practice. See you later," Iruka started walking out. Quickly leaving the academy, he made a dash for the Dragon Armory. He had finally gotten permission to create journeyman-level seals and wanted to start as soon as possible.

"Hey, Panda-chan," Naruto greeted Tenten. "Oh hey, Whiskers, what do you need?" Tenten asked as she looked curiously at the excited blonde. " I need sealing paper and ink, if you don't mind." Said Naruto as he looked around the shop, searching for anything that might grab his attention. Suddenly, he felt Hi react and start pulling him toward a section full of swords, catching his attention as a blade from the display leaped from its position and sored towards Naruto. Only to stop in front of him as if it was contemplating it was primarily white and blue as cold as ice. As if it had made a decision, it soared towards Hi and collided, leading to a flash of light that blinded Naruto and the two spectators watching. Once it died down, Hi was no longer there; instead was a katana. It had a black blade with a dark purple edge and a purple guard with a black and gold string running down the handle.

The spectators could only watch in shock as the blade returned to the sheath at Naruto's belt. "Well, I'll be to think that the Hi Ryu no Ikari's other half was in my shop the whole time," Akihito stated. 'It finally reforged. There is no Hi nor you anymore. There is just the Shinsen no Ikari, the abyssal dragon's wrath. The blade that could incinerate the world with its flames. Thankfully you can tell it when to immolate itself. Yami suddenly stated in his head. Naruto could only shake in excitement for getting a powerful blade and nervousness about what was to come.
