CHAPTER 2
When Theo found out that you were hanging out with Matteo he was livid. You two got into a big fight later resulting in him hitting you, knocking you unconscious. He nursed you back to health but when you recovered, he was back to his old self. You spent most of your days after that in the astronomy tower or the far corner of the library.
You were sitting in charms class about a week after your fight with Theo. Professor Flitwick was assigning new seats. He put you in the very back of the classroom next to Matteo.
"Fuck" you whispered to yourself quietly after he announced your seat.
"I guess that we're going to have to talk now, there's no use in ignoring me, Y/N" said Matteo looking at you with caring eyes that glittered in the sunlight.
You looked to the side, glaring at him through a curtain of your hair. You continued to scan the room to see where everyone else was seated. Theo was in the seat opposite of you on the other side of the classroom, glaring at you with a sinister smirk. You could feel your gut wrench with the feeling of insecurity.
When you got back to the common room Draco was waiting there for you.
"I don't like Matteo. He gives me a weird feeling and he's always following you around" Draco said as you both entered through the portrait hole.
"Brother, to be honest with you, I couldn't care less what you have to say about him. I'm ignoring him" you say assuring yourself that Matteo is no good for you, that Theo means no harm and is just protecting you.
You walk up to Theo's dorm only to hear sounds that anyone in a relationship would hate to hear. The sounds of another woman's voice moaning your boyfriends name.
"Pansy, you fucking bitch" you mumble under your breath and start running out of the common room.
You ran straight into Matteo while on your way to the astronomy tower while crying your eyes out.
"Hey what's wrong, are you ok?" Matteo asked lovingly.
"Why would I be? No one loves me, not even my boyfriend" you say running as fast as you can away from him.
Matteo starts running after you yelling your name to get you to slow down.
"Y/N stop please! What happened!?" He asked.
You ignore him and keep running until you get to the astronomy tower when you climb on the railing.
"You don't want to do that Y/N. I'm here, I love you" He says tearing up.
"Why should you!? I'm a terrible person. Theo doesn't love me, that means no one does."
You get off the railing and run into his arms, crying uncontrollably.
"I shouldn't be doing this" you say backing up, then running back to your dorm room.
