Ciara had been planning; something; special for Ben for weeks. Ben's birthday was coming up, and she was planning a surprise party for him. Ciara had been doing most of the planning while at work. Will would be flying in for the party. Marlena and John said yes, Jake would be there same with; Shawn and Belle.

Titan

(phone Ringing)

"Ciara Brady Weston.

"Hey Ciara, it's Allie; I just wanted to call and say that Johnny and I will be at Ben's party on Saturday."

"That's great; I also wanted to ask if you; would be able to make Ben's cake."

"Of course, I can make his cake; just tell me his favorite flavor, and I will make it for you."

"When we were picking out a cake for the wedding, he really wanted the praline with buttercream frosting."

"So you think he would like that for his birthday cake?"

"I think he would love it, but I; think I'll also order the regular vanilla cake as; well; and keep the other one just for him."

"So you want vanilla cake for the party than a small praline with buttercream frosting for Ben later on?"

"Yes, let's do that."

"Ok, I will have both cakes ready for Saturday."

"Thanks, Allie."

"Also. I talked to Will, and he is going to fly in Saturday morning and fly out on Sunday because he has to get back for work, but he really wants to be here for Ben."

"Yeah, he called me the other day."

"Has everyone else confirmed?"

"Just waiting to hear from Rafe."

"That's great; does Ben have any idea; that you are planning something for him?"

"He does not; I've been doing most of the planning here at the office and a little with Julie after work."

"He doesn't wonder why you get home so late?"

"He thinks it's because of Alex and how much he messes things up and that I have to stay and fix everything."

"Ciara, I'm sorry, I have to go Henry and; I are at the park, and he is putting sand in his mouth."

"It's, ok, go; we'll talk later."

Ciara just laughed and hung up the phone; just as she was about to; go back to work, her cell rang.

"Hello."

"Hey, Ciara, it's Rafe; I just wanted to let you know I will be at Ben's party on Saturday; I meant to call you earlier; I've just been busy with this case."

"It's fine, Rafe, no big deal; I understand work has kept me busy, as well."

"I; have to go, but I'll see you all on Saturday."

"Bye, Rafe."

Ciara took her lunch break and headed to Julie's.

"Hey, grandma, I don't have much time; I just wanted to check on things for Saturday."

"Everything is going as planned; the party is at 6, and everyone has confirmed Shawn is on decorations. How are we doing on the cake?"

"I; talked to Allie earlier and ordered a vanilla cake for the party."

"Perfect, we can check cake off the list."

"How are we doing with the food?"

"Belle said she would pick up the fruit and veggie tray. Jake said he would pick up the pizzas."

"Thank you for calling them grandma and helping me plan this for Ben; I can't wait to see his face."

Ciara; went back to work after her lunch break; she was working on some reports when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in."

"Hey, Ciara, do you have those reports for me?"

"I just finished them; here you go."

Ciara handed the files to Alex.

"You can head home if you want."

"Thanks."

Ciara packed up and headed home.

Apartment

Ciara walked into the apartment and saw Ben asleep on the couch and Bo asleep in the playpen.

Ciara dropped her stuff on the chair by the door, then walked over to the couch.

"Hey, grease monkey, I'm home she whispered in his ear."

Ben stirred a little, then opened his eyes.

"Hey, beautiful, how was your day?"

"My day was busy; how was yours?"

"My day was great only had a half day, so I was able to pick Bo up early for daycare and spend the afternoon in the square."

"That's great; what did you guys do?"

"Stopped by the book store found a new picture book for Bo, then we walked around the square for a little, grabbed some lunch, then came back, here to play, and then he fell asleep."

"You mean you both fell asleep."

Ben laughed as he; sat up on the couch, and Ciara sat next to him.

"Sounds like you had a great day together."

"We did; Bo had some mashed potatoes."

"Those are his favorite; did he have; any of the; yogurt?"

"He had a little bit; I think he is still getting used to it."

"Ok, we will just keep trying him with it."

"So, how much did you have to fix for Alex today?"

"Not as much as the other day but still a few things."

"You should be the one; running Titan; you know what you are doing."

"Maybe one day, babe."

When Saturday arrived, Ciara was up before Ben; she had to finalize everything for the party and figure out how to get Ben to Julie's.

Everyone would be at Julie's at 5:30 to help set up for the party; Allie said she would bring the cake with her, and Shawn and Johnny would put up the decorations.

Ciara hung up the phone and went back to bed with Ben.

"Hey, why are you up so early?"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"You didn't; everything ok?"

"Yeah, I just forgot to switch over the laundry."

"Oh, if you had told me, I would have done it before I went to bed last night."

"It's fine, babe; I just did it; you can go back to sleep if you want."

"Nope, I'm up now."

Ben leaned over and started to kiss Ciara. When he pulled back, Ciara smiled and said Happy Birthday. Ben was about to thank her when Bo; started crying.

"I'll get him."

"No, you stay; I'll go.

Ciara got out of bed and; went to Bo's room, picked him up from his crib, and hugged him. Ciara changed him and brought him back to bed with her and Ben.

When Ciara walked in with Bo, he reached his hands out for Ben Ciara placed him on Ben's chest, then joined them in bed.

"So, what were you thinking you wanted to do for your Birthday?"

"Not sure; maybe we could get some Chinese takeout and have a quiet night in nothing fancy."

"I thought we could have dinner out, just the two of us; Julie said she would love to watch Bo, but we would have to drop him off because she is waiting for something to be delivered and has to sign for it, so she can't come here."

"That does sound nice ok, a Birthday dinner just the two of us."

"How does Six sound?"

"Six is perfect; who is ready for breakfast?"

They spent the rest of the morning and afternoon just hanging out at home Bo; was playing with his toys while Ciara finished the laundry.

When it got closer to leaving, Ben went to pack Bo's diaper bag for Julie's and get ready himself since they spent the day in their pj's.

Ben finished packing Bo's bag and then jumped in the shower; once he got out, he went to the bedroom to get dressed.

"Hey, babe, should I dress up; or wear jeans and a t-shirt?"

"Why don't you wear jeans, a t-shirt, and one of your denim shirts."

"Perfect, I'm almost ready, then you can jump in the shower, and I'll watch Bo."

Ciara showered and got ready while Ben was playing with Bo on the floor.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yep, just let me grab; his bag, then we can go."

They grabbed their stuff and headed for the car; Ben put Bo in his car seat while Ciara put the bag in the back and then went to Julie's to drop Bo off.
