Part 5

The following morning, Max woke up turned over in bed as he thought that this day has got to get better. Max got out of bed and put his boots on before he walked down the hall and found Kerri still asleep. He watched her from a distance with her shallow breathing while her silk robe was draped over the bedpost. He pondered if she would take offense if she caught him watching her, or suddenly surprised her with a morning kiss. He knelt down beside her bed as he continued to watch her sleep, took in her beauty, her cheek bones and her lush mouth before he stroked her hair and leaned into her space and kissed her mouth gently. She responded slowly opened her eyes to see him, touched the side of his face, and lightly traced his bandage on his forehead. He never winced in pain as her fingers traced his unshaven cheek before he took her hand in his and placed a kiss there.

"Good morning, I hope I didn't startle you." He softly spoke to her, and she gave him a warm smile. She sat up in bed and covered her exposed flesh before she relaxed against the headboard.

"No, you didn't. Did you get a goodnight's sleep?" she intertwined her fingers with his and pulled it toward her chest while he sat on the edge of her mattress.

"Yes and no. For the most part I did, but I didn't enjoy it so much since I wasn't in 'your' bed." Max grinned closed the gap between them and pulled her hand towards his mouth and kissed the top of her hand.

"You know you could have had your way with me all night long, but out of the fear of the guard, you didn't. Something must have stopped you. What could it have been? Are you using me to get out of your dilemma? Are you making it look good so that you don't get locked away for life? You're being all courteous towards me in front of the guard makes me think you have your own agenda." Kerri teased him since she knew she could trust him.

"If you feel that way about me using you, that's your own assumption. I always said a beautiful woman has something to hide, and how many secrets do you have? You haven't called the guard on me since I've been here in your room, and I've kissed you a couple of times so how many prisoners have you brought to your home since your ex-boyfriend left? Maybe "Bad Bart" is your only secret lover and wished to keep all men away from you.'' He told her without letting go of her hand while he caressed it.

"You're kidding, right. If you think for one minute that I've been bringing others here to have company then your mistaken." Kerri determinedly told him but soon forgot the situation when he tugged on her hand and planted a wet kiss on her mouth before she surrendered to him.

He deepened the kiss as he let go of her hand and slipped his arm behind her back and held her closer to him in an embrace. She felt his soft caress on her bare shoulders while his mouth ventured to the side of her neck with his day-old stubble and scratched her delicate skin. He pulled away from her hungry gaze when he heard a car pull up outside. Kerri touched his forearm and his cheek since she knew he would be transported back to the cell today.

"I wish I didn't have to go back to that cell. I know the changing of the guards are in progress, and I'll be away from you for most of the day." He solemnly said and quickly stood up since he didn't want to be caught by the guards.

"I know. Hopefully it will be a quick process so you can be free until your hearing." Kerri told him as she kicked her sheet off and revealed her slender legs. He gazed at her figure while he stood back near the door jamb and watched her wrap her silk robe around her before she tied the sash around her waist. She spotted him leering at her with a smile on his lips, and his arms crossed over his chest in awe of her. She quietly walked over to him, stood in his space, and placed her hand on his chest.

"You like what you see, Mr. Stone?" She seductively said lowering her tone of voice.

"Yes, and what I'm going to be doing to you once I'm free. You're going to be so loved, and I'll make sure you will not have to fear for your life anymore." He touched her cheek as his thumb rubbed circles on it before he heard the front screen door open and close.

"I better get dressed, and you need to get downstairs. I'll be down in a few minutes." Kerri turned her back on him and went to her closet and picked out her outfit for the day.

Max slowly walked down the stairs and looked for the guard. Two guards appeared on the porch and were in a conversation when Max sat down at the kitchen table and waited for Kerri to appear. Jed had got into his patrol car when he ended his shift and left the new guard on duty, who was a young rookie with only a year's experience and was still learning the system. He graduated at the top of his class, and his father had retired from the department so he knew what was expected out of him. However, he noticed Kerri in the main office building working and had escorted her home twice and stood guard. He had no feelings for her romantically because he had his own life outside the workplace.

The guard walked inside, looked around the room, and saw Max as he sat at the kitchen table. He approached him slowly with his hand on his pistol and reached for his handcuffs before he presented them to Max. Max knew he was going to be transported back to the prison and gave the officer his hands with no resistance. Kerri appeared at the top of the staircase wearing a cream-colored sundress with heeled sandals.

After Max was handcuffed, he turned as she slowly descended the stairs in awe of her graceful footsteps and walked towards the two men. The officer tipped his hat out of respect toward her. Max remained silent only for a moment when he spoke up to say one word, 'beautiful'. The officer didn't use force with his simple statement at the reaction toward her unlike the other guards: Lou or Jed.

"Ms. Kerri, good morning. I'm Jed's relief this morning, and going to transport the prisoner. How was last night? I hope he didn't give you any trouble." The officer stated as he took Max by the elbow and guided him towards the door.

"No, Pete. Mr. Stone was well behaved and caused me no trouble. I'll be right with you in a few minutes. I need to grab my purse, and I'll be right out." Kerri walked into the living room and found her purse and walked out the front door and locked it.

The officer had already placed Max into the back of his patrol car and waited for her to pull out of her driveway and followed her towards the prison. As he drove in silence, the police officer glanced back at Max, who remained silent the entire ride, because he didn't want to reveal his feelings for her. The officer returned his attention to Kerri's automobile and observed his surroundings. Once they arrived at the prison, Kerri parked her car, and the officer helped Max out of the patrol car. Kerri approached him before he was led away to his prison cell.

"Pete, May I have a word with the prisoner before you take him to his cell? Alone?" Kerri asked politely.

"Of course, Ms. Kerri. Work detail is about to roll out, and I know your father doesn't like to wait." The young officer stepped aside so she could talk to Max.

"Max, as soon as the judge sets your bail today, your father will be informed. I will be in and out of the office today. I hope you don't get into any trouble." Kerri whispered to him so that the officer couldn't hear her words.

"I'll try my best, but you know if a fight does break out, it will be because of you." Max gave her a look of concern before she nodded and walked away from him with a glance over her shoulder. She knew he was right, her life was in danger, and he was going to deal with the problem soon. The officer took Max to his cell before work detail started which was about to start in a half hour.

Suddenly, the alarm blared throughout the prison buildings and a huge fight erupted in the maximum-security building which housed the most dangerous inmates. The guards were outnumbered by the inmates as they tried to gain control over the situation. The non-offender prisoners had just sat down for their breakfast in the dining hall and Max hadn't time to even sit down before the floor walker came to take a head count of his prisoners whom were all there. Max was worried something would happen to Kerri and saw a door open that was located near the back door. He planned an escape route and made a dash for it when the floor walker turned his attention to a few other inmates that were arguing over their breakfast.

It was chaotic with guards and inmates fighting for control. While one inmate struggled with an officer, he was belted with the billy club across the back of the head and knocked to the ground. Another inmate seen his partner in crime go down and he attacked the officer from behind with his fist. After he knocked the officer down, Bad Bart was now out in the open, thanks to his accomplice. He left in search of the warden's daughter since he knew she would be in the main building. It would be his pure pleasure and revenge once he got his hands on her. As all the guards tried to maintain control, he knew one guard would be protecting her, but the guard wouldn't stand a chance.

Max ducked for cover and walked towards Kerri's office and looked around, noticed that no guard had spotted him escaping. He entered the building, but it was deserted there were no guards, no office personnel, and no Kerri. He thought she was in another building because she told him she would be in and out of the office. He turned on his heels went back out the front door. He saw a sign on the building out front stated, "Main Building Entrance" and cautiously made his way toward it.

Kerri was in the main office filing paperwork when the alarm sounded. She was alone with no guard at the present moment. The only guard with her went and locked the back doors first before he quickly rushed to the front of the building to secure the front door when an inmate came in his direction. Bad Bart on a mission rushing towards the guard. The guard took his stance to defending the front door and quickly realized he wasn't just dealing with a minor offender. Bad Bart struggled with the shotgun in the officer's hand, took it from him, and belted him with the butt of the gun. As the knocked-out officer laid on the ground, knocked out cold, the menacing prisoner knew his prey was in the building. He continued to walk toward the front entrance, quietly opened the door, scanned the area, and saw no more guards. Bad Bart walked toward the front of the offices. There was no sign of his target until he heard papers shuffling. He made his way to where the sound came from and cautiously stalked around the corner.

The alarm still blared outside as Kerri hurriedly placed the files in the cabinet. Instead of seeing a guard at the door, she turned around and saw a criminal looking at her with unforgiving eyes. There was no escape in the room, and she was cornered albeit a desk chair and a few pens on the desk top. She looked for anything to use as a weapon, but the inmate quickly made his move on her.

"Looks like you got no where to run or hide so you're all mine." He seethed with anger.

"What have I done to you? Just because my father is the warden, you are not man enough to own up to your mistakes so you're going to take out your revenge out on his daughter. You're a pathetic little man. You show all the other prisoner's that your top of your game by brute force, but what man picks on a woman?" Kerri spat in anger and stood her ground until he slowly approached her with his hands in a fist ready to strike her with his huge hand. Kerri closed her eyes when she knew there was no escape, and she knew fighting him with her bare hands would do nothing to deter him.

Max finally made his way towards the main building and hoped that he would find her safe. He saw a motionless figure on the ground and investigated. It was one of the guards that had been knocked out cold, and Max knew whoever was in the building might be in danger. He ducked and calmly made his way into the front offices before he heard rustling in the back corridor. He kept his eyes open for incoming danger and moved down to where the sound came from. He slowly leaned against the door frame, peeked inside, and saw two silhouettes in the window.

"You've got some nerve to speak to me that way, Ms. Kerri. You know I'm going to pay your father back for giving me life for that murder rap that I had nothing to do with. I might have been in the gang, but I committed no murder, but I only committed the robbery. You are here looking all innocent, and my mind tells me one thing. While I have plans for you, I want to see your father's eyes after what I'm about to do to you." Bad Bart closed the gap between them almost to the point of suffocation when a large hand pulled him back from his shoulder and hit him square in the jaw. He fell to the floor and shook his head as he saw Max standing over him with hate in his eyes.

"You're going to pay for that! Who do you think you are?" The inmate got to his feet and pushed Max backwards into the book shelf, which he hit hard and caused him to wince in pain. As he ignored the pain, the prisoner turned his attention back on Kerri, who was frightened, when he came at her again. Max took the chance and attacked him again. He pulled his arm back behind him in a strong hold and shoved him against the wall with his cheek against the concrete block.

"I'm Max Stone, and your biggest mistake was attacking a woman. First, she's the warden's daughter, and secondly, she's, my girl." Max gave him an upper cut to the jaw again and kicked him in the ribs to keep the big man down, but he got to his feet and lunged toward Max again when he approached Kerri to shield her from the enemy. Kerri hid behind Max as he protected her against the prisoner and pushed him back away from her again. When the fighting erupted again between the two, Kerri hurried toward the desk drawer as she hoped to find something other than a pen for a weapon. She looked for a gun, but the drawer was empty. The only thing she found was a letter opener that resembled a small sword or a shank. She held it to her chest while the men fought for dominance. Max looked at Kerri for anything he could use to stop his attacker.

Max wrestled and fought the enemy while he was punched again in his sore ribs which caused him to double over in pain and lose his footing again. When Kerri found an opening, she approached Max handed him the letter opener and put it into his hand. The prisoner reached for Kerri when she handed Max the letter opener, and Max plunged it into his stomach. The prisoner fell to the floor in his own blood and spurted his last words which was incoherent to their ears. Max grabbed Kerri by the arm and pulled her into his embrace and the sirens were silence throughout the perimeter. Suddenly, it was all quiet as an officer opened the door to the main entrance and found Kerri and two prisoners in the building with one dead on the floor. He pulled his gun out and pointed it at Max as he held and comforted Kerri.

"Ms. Kerri, are you alright? Come toward me. Don't be afraid, it's going to be alright." The officer extended his hand and reached for her, but she refused his hand.

"If it weren't for Mr. Stone coming to my aid, I would have been killed." She responded and held onto Max's side for safety because she didn't want to separate from him, but she knew it was unavoidable. He had to return to his cell and go out for work detail, or he would get punished for being found with her.

"Go, I'll take my punishment. Now you won't have to be afraid anymore." He looked down at the fallen inmate that had tried to kill her. He approached the officer with his hands raised in surrender and was taken back to his building without resistance.

Another guard came and helped remove the fallen prisoner before they took him out on a stretcher to the morgue. While the warden was in the judge's office, he worried that something had happened to his daughter and hoped that she was safe throughout the ordeal. He got the bail set for Mr. Stone and would call his father, but was delayed in the sudden riot. He walked out of the judge's chambers and made his way back over to the main building where a crowd gathered nearby. He was in a frantic mood when he saw a fallen guard on the ground next the main building and quickly picked up his pace to investigate the scene.

"What's going on here? Why wasn't the main building protected?" He waited for the guards' responses when Kerri appeared from the building visibly shaken.

"I believe the riot was started by this man. He caused a distraction, and all hell broke loose, Sir. Another prisoner was found inside alive, but I am not sure what happened. One of the inmates was injured, and the other was killed. The prisoner was taken back to his cell and is about go on work detail. The only weapon which was a letter opener was found inside the prisoner." The lieutenant told him as he moved his eyes over at Kerri. The guard was still unconscious on the ground, but he was still alive. Two other guards were instructed to take him to the hospital.

"Kerri, are you hurt? I was in the judge's chambers when the alarm sounded." Her father looked at her with concern and touched her cheek tenderly before she broke down into tears in front of him. She hugged him fiercely, and he consoled her for a moment. Kerri needed to tell her father who saved her from her attacker.

"Father, Max Stone, was the one that killed the inmate to protect me, but it was out of self-defense. I am just as guilty as he is since I'm the one that gave him the letter opener." Kerri sobbed before her father gave her his handkerchief to wipe her fallen tears.

"Okay, it'll be fine. The judge set the bail for Max Stone, and I will be calling his father immediately. In the meantime, why don't you go home and take the rest of the day off. I'll get word to Max Stone after I get in contact with his father." Her father looked at her sympathetically and gave her a hug.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to go home right now I need to finish a few more reports before I leave early today. I need to file my own report and turn it into the main headquarters. I am responsible for the death of the prisoner, and I will not have Max Stone taking all the blame. I want to clear both our names because he doesn't deserve any more criminal charges filed on him. He saved my life, and if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be standing her talking to you." Kerri expressed her emotions to her father before she walked back to her main office as a guard escorted her back to the building.

The non-violent offenders were silent as the guards brought a bloodied Max back. There was no mercy for Max, and he would be sent out to work detail. He finished his breakfast while the other offenders kept their eyes on him like he was a hero for defeating Bad Bart. The floor walker called attention before the offenders got in line. Max quickly finished his meal and got into line along with the rest of them. He wasn't going to show weakness although his ribs ached, and he thought of Kerri when he touched the necklace on his neck. The men stood at attention while the floor walker eyed them all and opened the door for them to board the work truck. When the men boarded the truck, Max was the last one to board, and the men stepped away to clear a path for him and he sat down.

The guard locked the doors onto the truck, and the engine started. The driver pulled the truck onto the highway and one offender finally spoke up to Max.

"How far did you get? I heard from one of the guards as he reported to another guard that you were caught in the main building and murdered Bad Bart, the bully from maximum security, is that true?" the young blonde-haired man asked him.

"Yes, it's true. I killed him, and do you have a problem with that?" Max blatantly told him without even showing remorse. He looked through the slates of the truck when the truck slowed down to make a turn and quickly came to a halt. They didn't travel far from the prison, but it was a breath of fresh air when everyone departed the truck and formed a line to await their instructions. It was a farm field with crops growing all around with a large hay field to the left and bountiful crops on the other side.

"I have no issue with that I just wanted to hear it from the source if it was true or not." He quietly said and went silent when the guards approached the line.

"Alright, you guys will be assigned different farm chores today. Some of you will be picking bushels of cotton while others will be tending to vegetables that need to be picked and loaded to the farm truck parked out in the field. Others will be seeding the other fields out in the nearby plots. Get to work, and I don't want here any grumbling about your job duties." The guard informed them all and held his rifle in his hand as he walked out toward the farm tractor to check the machine for fuel because one lucky offender would be operating it while the rest had to do hard labor.

The guards gave orders to the offenders, and Max stood alone while the rest of the men got their duties. Wondering what he was assigned to do, Max looked out into the field to watch the men go to work when the guard approached him with the key to the farm tractor.

"You're the lucky one today because you get to tend to the field of hay out there, and you will be covered. We always have a sharp shooter hiding just in case someone gets the urge to take off. You might think about running but you won't get far." The guard's tone was unnerving as he placed the key into his hand.

Kerri finished her report on what transpired today and covered all the basis, especially Mr. Stone. If it wasn't for him, she would be dead, and she wanted to make it known to the system and the judge that he never had any intention of harming her life. The warden phoned Max Stone's father and informed him the bail could be paid within a week, but Max's father said he would be there by the late afternoon to get his son. Kerri handed in her report and went to the dining hall to get soda for the offenders because it was Friday, and no beer was allowed for work detail. It was something that the prisoners enjoyed from the outside life, and it came once a week.

"Kerri, wait a minute! Max's bail has been set, and I talked to his father over the phone. He will be picking him up this afternoon." Her father called out to her before she left.

"Great! I can't wait to tell him." Kerri hugged her father and walked towards her car. He helped her put the soda crate into her back seat and took her elbow in his hand.

"Kerri, I hope you know what you're doing? I don't want to see you hurt by Max Stone, but I know you have your life to live. You're making a mistake by getting mixed up with him is what's troubling me, and so help me if he does any harm to you, I will see to it personally to send him away for good to another state prison." Her father warned her without blinking an eye and took his hat off to wipe his brow.

"I've made up my mind to leave the prison and go work for him in his office. He is an attorney, and just graduated from law school. He's not lying about that, or why would he ask me? I told him I would because I have feelings for him that are undeniable and he feels the same. I'll put my two weeks' notice in so you can hire a replacement, but now that Bad Bart is out of the way, thanks to Max, I can finally be guard free. He knows as long I'm in here working, I'm always in danger. He is the best thing that has happened to me." Kerri strongly voiced her opinion to her father, and he took it in slowly but understood why she was making the choice she was.

"Kerri, I understand, and how are you going to present this to your mother? She might not take it very well with you seeing an offender; however, I'm only saying that because his trial date and evidence hasn't been fully investigated. I think they should have something by the end of next week before the trial will be set in motion. This is a federal crime, and if you're saying he's telling the truth which I hope that he is for his sake." Her father said and opened her car door so that she could be on her way to deliver the refreshments and take the rest of the day off.

"I will tell mother about Max in a few days. I know she will be more understanding once she meets him and talks with him." Kerri quietly said with her hand on the steering wheel and her other on the door handle as she shut it while her father stepped back from the vehicle, and she drove off.

The inmates worked hard all day long in the field as they gathered the bushels and placed them in their satchels. The guards kept careful watch on the crew while they worked. Max was cutting the hay field and finished the plot before he moved on to the next plot. The hot weather was humid, and a few dark clouds rolled in. He noticed a car as it approached from afar down the highway, and he recognized it. He ignored it at first that was until the occupant stopped and pulled over into the driveway and parked it next to the building where two guards greeted the occupant.

"Ms. Kerri, we're glad to see you, and I see you brought the refreshment's right on time."

"Yes, I didn't want to disappoint the men out here since it's a Friday. They all deserve a little something for all their hard work even if you don't agree." She told him and got out of her car. He quickly helped her out of the car before, he opened the back door and retrieved the crate of ice-cold drinks.

"Lunch time is upon us, Ms. Kerri. I will give these refreshments to the men once they had their lunches, and the guards will bring the offenders from the fields. I'm sorry for what happened today with the riot and all. I know you must still be shaken up with the ordeal that took place." The officer told her and sat down the crate by their chow table.

"Yes, it was very frightening and I'm grateful for Mr. Stone being there. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be standing here talking to you." Kerri replied and looked out into the field of offenders as she tried to see a glimpse of Max, but still hadn't spotted him.

The guards brought in the offenders and another guard went to go retrieve Max from the tractor, but Kerri stopped them as soon as she saw him. He was the last offender that wasn't brought in for their meal, and she knew it had to be him. Kerri walked toward the guard and placed her hand on his arm and stopped him in his tracks.

"The warden has important information that needs to be relayed to Mr. Stone, and he instructed me to give him the message. If you have any issues with that, you need to take it up with him." Kerri gave him a wry smile and knew she had pulled one over on the guard. He obliged her and she retrieved Max while he stood back and carefully watched her go to him.

"No, Ms. Kerri I don't have a problem with that. Just be careful." He gave his permission and lowered his rifle in his hands. She walked away toward the outer field and noticed he was about half way done cutting down the crop and slowly approached him. He suddenly turned in his seat to see her slowly walking towards him and steered the machine around to meet up with her. He slowly pushed the clutch into idle and turned it off. He carefully climbed down off the machine and walked towards her. His clothes were not all grimy because he was not doing hard labor today, but he had been sweating through his clothing. He swiped his forehead with his shirt and draped it over the tractor seat. He was shirtless when he approached her and that put a smile on her face as he walked over to her to greet her.

"How did you manage to slip by the guards? How are you doing since the earlier incident?" he asked her with small smile on his lips and reached for her hands.

"I'm okay. I'm wanted to thank you personally by coming out here. I have special permission from my father. Don't you know that? I have important information you want to hear, and told the guard that I insist on telling you per the warden's request, and he didn't object. He knows my father means business, and they always step aside when his name is mentioned." Kerri said as she looked at his masculine physique and rubbed his forearms gently.

"What's the news that you had to come all the way out here?" He eyed her dress and wanted to touch her, but his eyes were doing that all ready by the way he looked at her.

"The judge set your bail, and my father called your father. He will be posting your bail today as of this afternoon. You will be free until your hearing, but you can't leave the state. You can go home and you must stay out of trouble. Plus, I wanted to thank you for protecting me from that evil Bad Bart. You know my father still doesn't trust you, yet. He also mentioned how I was going to explain you to my mother. He said I could go home early, and I also told him I would be working with you in your office." Kerri gave him a smile, and he looked for the guard but he was at a distance. He took a chance and gave her a quick peck on the lips and retreated before he was caught kissing her. She looked at him with surprise and knew exactly why he suddenly pulled away out of fear of the guards shooting him on spot.

"How well did that go? I mean he must have resisted your decision." His voice was above a whisper.

"Not very well, but he understood. He just wants the best for me, and I know my mother does too. It's explaining what you've been through and I've got to tell her, and I hope she understands."

Kerri turned her attention to the guards and saw them distracted as they served the meals to the crew of offenders before she took his hand in hers and took him out of view into the field where the cutting still needed and pulled him into her arms and gave him a passionate kiss. He embraced her, held her tightly in his arms, and quickly gasped for breath when she ran her fingernails down his bare chest. He gazed down into her emerald orbs and touched her cheek tenderly while he admired her beauty. He stroked her hair into his fingertips, caressed her bare forearms, and kissed her at the juncture of her neck and clavicle before he swiped his tongue and tasted her. She groaned at the sensation of his lips and tongue on her flesh. Her arousal became evident when he trailed his nose toward the vee of her dress and kissed her through the fabric as her hands flew into his damp hair.

"Max, how long has it been since you've been with a woman?" She moaned as he touched her breasts through her clothing and squeezed her bosom gently. She gripped his head into her hands, stroked his damp hair, and scratched his scalp as he finally gave her full his attention.

"It's been a while since I've had a woman in my arms, but I'm not a virgin if that's what you're asking me. Do you know how bad I want to have you right now?" He chuckled as he picked her leg up in his hand stroked it lovingly before he looked up at her with want. When he knelt down before her, he breathed her heady aroma into his nostrils and licked his lips while he wondered what she tasted like. He stroked her hips through the fabric and raised her skirt before he disappeared underneath it. He nudged her panties aside with his index finger and darted his tongue out to taste her. He was in pure heaven since the sweetness was too much for him, and he couldn't get enough of her.

"Oh my, Max!" She cried out when he swiped his tongue over her clit again and licked her inner folds which caused her to flood his mouth with her juices and he consumed her. As much as he wanted to stay between her legs and pleasure her again, the guards would be looking for him, and he reappeared so that he could see her flushed face.

He lowered his eyes down to her chest and knew if they got caught, it would be the end for the both of them. As the minutes went by, she wasted no time and helped him with his prominent bulge in his slacks and dipped her soft hand into his waistband. As she felt his hardness and held him in her hand, he closed his eyes at her touch.

"I know we don't have much time before the guards come looking for me, but what you do to me it's unbelievable." He whispered under strained breath before she gave him a naughty smile and kissed him. She tasted his salty skin and left wet trails of saliva down his torso. She slipped his waistband down over his hips and took his length into her mouth before he placed his hands into her soft curls, and gripped her head into his large hands while she continued her assault on his hardened member. She licked, sucked, wrapped her tongue around the tip of his rigid member and took him in all the way into her welcoming mouth. He panted her name trying to get her attention.

"You need to stop…" he hissed as she licked his length again before she tucked him back into his slacks. She kissed his abdomen and massaged his forearms before she placed her hands on his chest. She gave him a satisfied smile, and he slowly opened his eyes to look down at her. He leaned down and captured her lips in a heated kiss as he tasted himself on her lips. Suddenly, they heard a voice from a distance, and they separated from their fervent kiss and gazed at their apparent state. He quickly straightened her dress while she peered over his shoulder to see how far the guard was.

"Hurry, they're coming closer!" She quickly fixed her dress so that she was presentable.

"You'll have to get me out of this mess, Kerri because I am not at fault here." He whispered to her and bent down in front of her so that he acted like he was fixing something mechanical on the tractor. The guard approached them with his rifle drawn and pointed it straight at him.

"What's going on out here? Kerri, you alright? I was getting worried when I hadn't seen you in well over forty minutes." The guard said before he pointed the rifle at Max who was still knelt down in front of her.

"I gave Mr. Stone the good news. His bail has been set, and his father is enroute to retrieve him. He hasn't done anything wrong." Kerri gave the guard a simple wave of her hand to let him know it was okay, and he lowered his rifle.

"Lunch time is over, Mr. Stone. I guess you're going without your lunch today." The guard turned his back on the two of them.

"He can't do that to you. I'll have him reprimanded for that, Max. Just because you didn't take your lunch with the rest of the offenders, don't mean you need to go without yours. I'll have a talk with him and make sure you get your meal." Kerri angrily said, but Max grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him.

"I've already had my snack, and it doesn't bother me at all if I missed my lunch. I'll be out of prison as soon as I get back on the grounds." He replied seductively before his stomach growled, and she lowered her gaze to his abdomen.

"Well, it sounds to me that you are still hungry. I'll go talk to the guard, and you will get your lunch. I will see to it that the guard allows it." Kerri kissed him quickly on his lips while the guard walked back to his post, and she followed after him. Max watched her walk slowly toward the guard and he stared back at the prisoner and shook his head in agreement that it was only fair that Max got his meal. It was her fault he was late and the guard knew he couldn't argue with the warden's daughter. The guard at the post helped her back to her car and she left for home. Max did get his meal and his soda that was promised all thanks to Kerri. When the end of the afternoon work detail ended, everyone was loaded back into the work truck to go back to the prison. Everyone was tired and sweaty and each one wanted to shower and get out of the heat.

David Stone went to the bank and got the bail money for his son. He drove his car to the main building, since he wasn't sure where he needed to enter.

"Can I help you sir?" The guard stood tall and waited on his answer.

"I'm here to post my son's bail today. Where do I need to go?" he questioned the guard before he stepped aside and opened the door.

"Right this way, Sir." The guard escorted him down the corridor to notify the warden that he had a visitor.

The warden was finishing his lunch when a knock was heard at the door. He placed his sandwich down on his plate and cleared his throat with a glass of water.

"Please, come in." He called out and noticed a visitor stepped through his office doors. The guard stood outside awaiting his orders.

"Sir, I'm here to post bail for my son, Max Stone. I am his father, David Stone. I'm a lawyer in Woodland County, which is across the state line." He waved his fedora nervously.

"Yes, I've heard a lot about you Mr. Stone. Your son is out on work detail. We can walk over to the judge's chambers and post his bail before he returns. Please, have a seat with me." The warden extended his hand for him to sit down in a chair. "There must be something special about him. Please do tell me more about him." The warden offered him a glass of water, and he took it.

"My son, Max Stone, graduated from law school and undecided about whether he wants to stay in his hometown and practice with me in my law firm or go on his own but it's his decision not mine. I've met your daughter when they first brought my son in for his booking. She's a very lovely woman, and I can see why he's taken with her." He replied and took a sip of water.

"I didn't believe my daughter when she told me of Max's history. Some people I deal with you can't tell if they are lying or not. I just wanted to ask you for myself and see the intention on my daughter is true. If he truly wants to be with her." He told him with suspiciousness in his voice.

"I can assure you Sir, that my son's true intention on your daughter is true. If he intends to pursue her it's not my say, or your say, or anyone else's. It's his true feelings for her and if he wants to be with her, we shouldn't have the last word, they do." His father spoke up defending his son.

"I just don't want to see her hurt. She told me how your son protected her in the ordeal, and for that, I'm grateful because he saved her life." The warden got up from his chair walked around his desk and took his hat off the coat rack. He walked toward the entrance of his office and waited for Mr. Stone.

"Let's go to the judge's chambers. I'm sure he's waiting to see you." The warden held open the door and the two men walked out down the hall and back outside toward the judge's office. After he paid the bail, the truck arrived, and he was anxious to see his son again.

One by one, the men formed in a line before they were taken back to the building. The last man in line was his son. The guard took head count and pulled Max aside after the main entrance guard quickly approached the line to give orders to the other prisoners.

"Mr. Stone, your father is here to pick you up. Your bail has been paid, and you'll need to clean up before you are released into his custody and retrieve your belongings." The guard instructed him and took him into the building separate from the other prisoners. He was granted a shower, and his clothing was returned to him with all his other belongings such as his wristwatch and his wallet that they confiscated from him when they booked him. After he was free of his leg irons and cuffs, he appeared out on the front steps with the guard who took him to meet his father at the main building. He was now released into custody with his father and out of prison.
