Roxas POV

The hallways were rather quiet this morning aside from Roxas' footsteps. He assumes everyone is still resting like Ritsuka or already at their posts working like Romani. He couldn't sleep, not after what had happened. Fortunately for him Servants apparently didn't need sleep.

Deciding to try and do something productive with this free time he asked around to look for a certain room. He eventually stopped at the door with the sign 'Library' on it before entering. He figured since he's still processing information from the grail he should try and read up on some legends to fill in some blanks. He decided to learn about Servants they already encountered like Cu and Arthur. Zexion and Vexen always did talk about how important information was.

Ah, there it is. Arthurian Legends, the stories of King Arthur and his knights. He brought the book to a nearby table and started reading about the King of knights. To begin with, for some reason, there were several different variations of the story by different people, which made it a lot more confusing. Fortunately, many of them shared several things that always seemed to happen in legend, such as Arthur pulling out the sword in the stone and determining his fate as king.

Roxas felt his eye twitch. Why the HELL do people end up getting their fate decided by a sword?! First it was Sora and the Keyblade, which affected him when Xemnas took him into the Organization the literal day he was born, and now a boy said to become king from pulling out a sword from a rock!

He sighed, evidently swords weren't the only thing to do so as is the case with Ritsuka. He didn't know a whole lot about the girl given he's only known her for a day, but from what he could put together she was a relatively normal girl who somehow managed to get dragged into a world of magic, travel back through time after a near death experience, become a master of a Demi-Servant, get a front row view to a fight with King Arthur, and finding out Chaldea had a traitor who is responsible for the extinction of humanity including her loved ones. ALL IN THE SAME DAY!

Then there was Olga, while he had doubts about the poor girl with how she never even bothered to refer to Ritsuka by name, he didn't think she deserved what happened. Having someone close to you betray you, find out you're practically a walking ghost bound to die when you return home, and being considered pathetic and worthless by that same traitor. There was some weird sense of familiarity when he thought about Olga but he couldn't put his finger on it.

He gripped his head in pain as he felt a migraine and images of black hair passed through his mind. "Damn it. I really need to find out what's causing that." He mumbled before going back to reading. Apparently King Arthur was trained by...

Roxas blinked. Then rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't see things before reading it again. Nope, he wasn't things. "She was trained by Merlin?"

He never met the wizard personally, just second hand knowledge from Sora's memories. He knew Merlin was a world traveler but did he really come to this world to train King Arthur? How old is he then if that's actually the case?

Before he could continue his train of thought a voice interrupted him. "Ah, Roxas there you are!"

He looked up to see his Master standing in front of him. "Oh, Ritsuka! How did you sleep?"

Ritsuka rubbed the back of her neck. "Eh... it was so so."

Roxas nodded in understanding. "So, did you need something or do you just want to make conversation?"

"Well, Romani said we should try to summon more Servants if we want to clear all 7 Singularites and I thought you might want to be there when we summon them." Ritsuka explained.

"Well, I didn't get to see my own summoning so why not? Plus I'm curious to see which Heroic Spirits we meet." Roxas closed the book and put back. "Lead the way."

"Fou!" a small white, furry creature hopped onto Ritsuka's shoulder. It looked like some sort of squirrel or small dog.

"...What is that?" Roxas questioned.

"Oh this Fou!" Ritsuka introduced the creature before raising an eyebrow at Roxas. "Didn't you notice him at Fuyuki?"

"...No. But what is he actually?"

"Fou is Fou."

Roxas took a deep breath. 'Let it go Roxas. It'll save you a headache.'

"Alright. Let's go to the Summoning Room." Roxas immediately changed the subject.

Summoning Room POV

"We're here!" Ritsuka called out as she and Roxas entered the room where Mash and Romani were waiting for him. Almost immediately Roxas took not of the machinery and magic circle in the center.

"So this is what you use to summon, huh?" Roxas mumbled. Vexen would have a field day here.

"Good morning Roxas-san." Mash greeted the Avenger.

"You know, I've been meaning to ask. Why do you keep adding 'san' to the end of my name?" Roxas asked.

"O-Oh, it's an honorific title used in Senpai's home country of Japan as a sign of politeness." Mash explained.

"Oh, ok." Roxas nodded.

Romani coughed into his hand. "Anyways, if we want to solve all 7 Singularities we're gonna need more help. Despite the power we already have on hand." He glanced at Mash and Roxas.

He pulled up a container full of odd looking crystals. "We utilize Saint Quartz to power the Summoning Circle instead of a catalyst. So just place these onto the circle and it should summon a Servant."

"Catalyst?" Roxas questioned.

"When a mage normally summons a Servant, they require a catalyst related to a specific Servant in order to summon a them. But thanks to Chaldea's FATE system, we can substitute the catalyst with Saint Quartz but now we cannot control which Servant we might summon." Mash explained to the Avenger.

Roxas nodded. "So, it's like some sort of roulette." He recalled those lessons in gambling Luxord gave him.

"Oh!" Ritsuka said in realization. "Like the gacha games I love to play!" She said with a somewhat crazed look in here eye that slightly disturbed the Nobody.

"What's gacha?" Roxas looked at the girl in confusion.

"That's not quite it..." Romani sweatdropped, wondering what Olga would say if she were still here. Most likely scolding them for comparing the FATE system to a game.

"Come on, let's not drag it on. We should really summon the Servants now."

"Right." Ritsuka nodded as she placed the Saint Quartz on the circle.

Roxas watched in curiosity as several spheres of light appeared before spinning around faster and faster before forming a full ring of light. Then a pillar of light burst out from the circle before dying down to reveal a familiar face.

"Yo, Servant, Lancer. Cu Chu-" Cu paused as he looked at the group in front of him before looking back to his spear. He grinned widely as he held the weapon in front of him. "You're just as beautiful as the day I lost you." He said joyfully as he twirled the spear in his hands, turning back to his Master. "Thanks for keeping you're promise and summoning me as a Lancer, kid."

He smirked as he still step off the panel. "Still, surprised to remember you all again. How long has it been since the last time we saw each other."

"Only a day. Still, good to have another friendly face around." Roxas replied. Cu turned his head and grinned.

"So, waited for me to show up before you started kicking ass, eh?"

"You could say something like that." Roxas shrugged.

A bright light shone again before dying down. The new figure on the summoning circle, a young man wearing silver and yellow armor with black hair the had a bit of white in it and oddly, wielded a wooden katana.

"Servant...I came to ya to answer your summon. I mean...I have arrived. Rider, Mandricardo. Well, I hope you treat me well, to some extent." Mandricardo introduced himself.

The circle flashed again and another figure appeared. It was a woman with long purple hair reaching below her waist and blue eyes. She wore an unnatural one piece, white dress with red trimming and wide sleeves as well as white, golden trimmed veil around her head.

"My name is Martha, let us save the world together." Martha said.

Ritsuka smiled. "Thank you all for answering our calls, we really need all the help we can get."

"Of course. I will do everything in my power to assist you." Martha told the girl.

"You were probably expecting a more famous hero than me, but I'll still do my best for you." Mandricardo said.

"So, new here. Can you tell me their legends." Roxas whispered to Mash.

"Oh, Martha is most likely Saint Martha. A Saint who became famous for taming the monsterous dragon Tarasque with nothing but her prayers." Mash explained.

"...She tamed a dragon with just prayers?" Roxas repeated. "That... might honestly be more impressive than defeating a dragon." He said at Mash's nod of confirmation. He's never met a dragon before. Well, there were those Wyvern heartless, but they were Hearltess not an actual dragon. Sora did meet Mushu, but he wasn't Sora.

"What about Mandricardo?"

"Ah, he is a king as well as a rival to Ruggiero in the epic Orlando Furioso as well as an enemy to the twelve paladins of Charlemagne." Mash explained.

"I'm assuming they were great heroes, right?" Roxas asked.

"Yes." Mash confirmed.

"Excuse me, Master." They hear Matha say. "Pardon me if I am intruding but I sense that boy is also a Servant as well?"

"Ah, Roxas, are you okay with introducing yourself?" Ritsuka asked.

Roxas waved at them. "As you've heard Ritsuka say, my name is Roxas and I'm an Avenger Class Servant."

Martha's face changed at that bit of information. "The Class of vengeance? Only those who were burdened with hatred beyond even death are given that class, how did a child come to bear such a thing."

Roxas felt his eye twitch at the memory of a certain doctor and his former superior. "It's... a long story."

Martha frowned but nodded. "I see, although you have to face such burden of anger I hope we may work well together and that you find peace." She told the young Avenger.

"I- Uh- Thank you...?" Roxas said in an unsure tone, having no idea how to properly respond as he glanced at Ritsuka and Romani who shrugged in response.

"That's weird... I can't find any information of a Heroic Spirit called Roxas from the information I was given..." Mandricardo said.

Ritsuka nervously rubbed the back of her head while Roxas sighed. "That's a complicated Story, maybe we should show you around first before sitting down and explaining it. On a related note, what do you two know of other worlds."

"...Other... Worlds?"

Cafeteria POV

The new group of Servants along with Mash, Roxas, Ritsuka and Romani were seated at the Cafeteria after showing around the new Servants.

"...After a while the Organization found me again and after slowly getting my memories back, that damn doctor trapped me in a room with Sora and I was absorbed back into him. Right after that I got a call from the Throne of Heroes and was summoned by our Master here. The rest is history." Roxas finished explaining the basics of Heartless and Nobodies as well as a summarized explanation of the Organization and the events leading to his death. Although he spat the word doctor with venom.

Cu wasn't as surprised as the others who were staring wide eyed at the story. Having received an explanation before in Fuyuki. Although he was surprised by the how the kid ended up dying. He understood why the kid was pissed at the doctor, if he found out that all of his adventures and experiences were nothing but an illusion from some mage, he'd be pissed as well.

Martha stared wide-eyed at the young boy, she had been given knowledge of the possibility to travel to other worlds through the use of the second magic, it was an entirely different thing to meet someone who could do something similar so freely. Although her mind was more focused on certain other parts of the story such as the Heartless, something which made her frown. The idea of the darkness of the hearts of people, something some might be able to compare to sins of people turning them into monsters unable to feel emotion and able to turn others into Heartless made her pray desperately for the salvation of those poor souls. Then there were the Nobodies and that doctor, the entire situation was something she disliked, the idea of sacrificing one's life for another's was something she disliked doing. She could possibly understand wanting to wake up Sora to stop the Organization, but his treatment of Roxas and Namine was cruel and unnecessary. Especially since Roxas was going to find the boy by choice anyways. If she met this man she needed to have a talk with him about his treatment of them.

"Man... To think a hero like me needs to compete with someone who's traveled worlds..." Mandricardo muttered.

"I'm not really a hero. " Roxas said. "Just a guy who got told to fight some monsters because of a special sword I had." It's not like he actively hunted Heartless by his own choice, he just did it because he was ordered to.

"Hey, Roxas." Ritsuka spoke up, tapping her fingers together.

"Yeah?"

"Could you tell us about some of the worlds you've been to?" She asked with a curious look in her

"I don't see why not." Roxas shrugged. "I don't know where to start though."

"Why not you're favorite one?" Mash suggested as she, along with everyone else, was curious to hear about other worlds.

"'My favorite one..." Roxas hummed. Normally he would say Twilight town in a heart beat but it probably wasn't as action packed as they're hoping compared to other worlds. Plus being stuck in a fake one for half a year really sours the place for him.

"Oh, I know!" Roxas snapped his fingers. "The world where I learned how to glide!"

"Oh yeah, I remember seeing you glide around back in that city." Cu hummed.

"So, how did you learn how to do it? Were taught by a mage? Or perhaps gifted it by a Divine Spirit of some sort?" Roman asked.

"No, not quite like that."

"So what, were you shown by a fairy?" Cu joked making a few people chuckle, particularly those who knew about Fae and how troublesome they could be.

"I think she was technically a pixie but yeah." Roxas answered, instantly shutting them up and recieving several disbelieving looks. "But Tinker Bell gave me the ability to fly when we first met."

Now most of the room froze as their brains registered the words just said.

"D-Did you just say Tinker Bell?" Mash asked as she stared at Roxas with wide eyes.

Roxas, either unaware or uncaring of the looks he was getting, continued. "Yeah, in my first mission to Neverland I met Tinker Bell shortly after getting there. It was right after we saw a pirate captain open a chest planted by her friend Peter Pan."

"Wait, wait, wait!" Ritsuka called out as her eyes were even wider then before and her jaw slacked slightly while staring at Roxas. "Tinker Bell, Neverland, PETER PAN?!"

"Unbelievable, Peter Pan and the Lost Boys." Mash muttered.

Roxas turned to the girl in confusion. "How do you know about them?"

"Roxas, I know this might be a little unbelievable to hear-" Romani paused as he registered what he just said to the world hopping boy who wields magic key-shaped swords. "Actually maybe not, depending. But all of those people you mentioned, are all well known fictional characters from stories and novels here."

Roxas just stared at the man as his mind slowly processed his words. "...What?" He intelligently answered with a blank look.

Mash nodded rapidly in confirmation. "It's true. There have several novels, plays and even movies based around the adventures of Peter Pan in Neverland. If they really are the same people then that pirate captain you mentioned was named Captain Hook, right?"

"I- Yeah..." Roxas confirmed as he still tried get his mind wrapped around it. Peter Pan as a storybook character? I mean, he knows about Poo and his friends in that book but that was another matter. His friends all live in that book and it wasn't like it was some mass produced story, it was more like a world contained in a book.

...Actually that might be more impressive and surprising now that he actually thinks about it. But back to the matter at hand!

"But which version is it? There are several stories of Peter Pan enjoying time with the Lost Boys until they eventually leave Neverland and grow up, but there is also one version where it implies he kills them when he thinks they're getting to old." Romani cupped his chin.

"I'm sorry WHAT?!" Roxas jumped to his feet as he stared at the doctor who raised his hand in surrender.

"Roxas, please calm down." Martha told the Avenger, trying to stop any conflict.

The Nobody looked at the saint incredulously. "How do you expect me to react after hearing THAT?!"

"It was only one version of it. Most of the other stories are completely different with what happens." Romani defended himself.

Roxas narrowed his eyes at the man before huffing and sitting back down. "If I ever meet whoever wrote that version, I'm punching them." He grumbled while the others made a mental note to keep Roxas away form the author on the off chance the encounter him in a singularity.

"Well... Moving on... Was there ever any weird world in particular?" Mandricardo said, figuring it would be best to change the subject.

"Weird?" Roxas cupped his chin as one place immediately came to mind. It wasn't particularly awful, nor was it too memorable aside from a few things compared to other worlds he's been to. It's residents however... 'That damn cat, though.' He shivered.

"There was this one place called Wonderland I went to with another member named Luxord." Roxas said and everyone just stared at the boy.

Cu smirked while Romani groaned at the oncoming headache.

? POV

A bright flash light up a throne room as several figures were now kneeling in front of a dark clad woman with short, white hair and yellow eyes who smirked wickedly.

"Ah, so these are your new recruits, huh?" Came the voice of a man leaning on the wall with brown hair that has a gray streak in it, tied into a ponytail and a scar on his left cheek while wearing an eyepatch and dark coat.

"What do you want?" The woman questioned in an annoyed tone as her smirk was wiped off her face and replaced with an irritated scowl.

"Can't a guy come visit his ally?" The guy said in a laid-back, mocking tone.

"Why don't you just piss off already."

"Ouch Dragon Witch, that's cold." The man said in a false hurt tone with a smirk.

"How dare you?! You shall treat Jeanne with respect you-!" A deranged looking man with dark blue robes shouted angrily as he marched towards the man, only to be cut off by Jeann Alter sticking her hand out in front of him.

The Alter merely narrowed her eyes at the man before waving her hand and unleashing a giant blast of fire that left a molten trail across the room.

"I assume it would be too high of expectations to believe that actually killed you?" She growled.

"As if!" The man laughed as he suddenly appeared behind her. "But I get it, I know when I'm not wanted. So I'll take me leave now that I came for a look." He was enveloped by a pillar of darkness before disappearing.

"Oh, my great Dragon Witch. Why do you tolerate the insolence of that man?" Gilles asked the woman.

"Their goals align with ours to destroy France. So long as they continue that, I'll tolerate them for it'll make completing my revenge that much quicker. But once they run out of use..." The woman trailed off as she lit a fireball in her hand to indicate her plans for her 'allies' once things are said and done.
