To Protect the Most Precious Person
Pairing: Usagi x Minako
Genre: Drama
Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon or any of its characters.
Minako Aino doesn't know where she is, but for some reason, while walking home from school today, she got shoved by a mysterious being into a portal and arrived in another dimension. And it's very warm in that place. It's a realm called Hell. Mina can definitely see how she pictured it. Unfortunately, her car Artemis, isn't with her, so she has to fight her way out alone. Taking out her transformation pen, she immediately changes into the beautiful Sailor Venus. She must find her way out of Hell and get back to her beloved Usagi Tsukino as soon as possible.
Crossing over a long bridge, she finds the first doorway being blocked by demons. There are two kinds. One with small wings and large talons for claws and another are smaller, more fragile demons that breathes fire. Mina knows she has to be careful. Using her Love Me Chain as her main weapon, she starts to fight. She swings her chain left and right and then spins around to knock down one demon.
"Come here!" Mina demands as she lashes out her chain and yanks the demon toward her to perform a suplex on it. The demon disappears.
She hears the fragile demon screech and breathe fire balls. There are two of them that breathe fire. She rolls away from one fire ball and then another. She has to get rid of these fire breath demons before taking down the talon ones. She swings her chain left and right, then slams it down hard on the demon before performing a flip kick. She does the same thing to the other fragile demon and then turns to three more talon demons. They stand together and surround Mina, trying to slash her with their claws. Mina blocks them and rolls away to get out of the swarm. She swings her chain left and right and then jumps in the air to slam her chain on one of them, making it disappear. She then spins her chain like a lasso to take down the two remaining demons. When it's over, she finds a relic next to the door. She runs over toward it to pick it up and examine it.
"This must be important," Mina says to herself. "Maybe it can activate a gate to the real world. Hang on, Usagi-chan. Don't you worry. I'll find you..."
She enters the first doorway and heads down the long hallway to enter the second door. From there, she finds a large circled room. More demons appear and ready to jump on Mina. Sailor Venus has her Love Me Chain ready and goes into battle.
It is a long and hard fight the rest of the way until she comes to the last doorway. She has found 4 relics each time she defeated the army of demons. The last doorway must be the secret gate to the real world. With all the relics she has gathered, she can put them on the holes around the doorway to activate it. Unfortunately, she has company.
A very large monster with three fingers, large wings and an ugly face with sharp teeth appears, bursting from a cage. Mina readies her love me chain. But there are other demons that she has faced before that surrounds her as well.
"Things are never easy, is it...?" Mina sighs heavily.
The big demon roars as it swings its claws back and forth, but its movements are slow, which is easy for her to evade. But not the smaller demons with sharp talons. They jump in front of her and try to slash her. Mina blocks one and then another that stands beside her. She hears screeches coming from the fragile demons and they breathe fire balls. Mina rolls away and looks around. The big boss demon comes her way, ready to strike. Mina jumps over it and spins around like a tornado, hitting the bigger demon and then lands behind it. She swings her chain at the smaller demon with talons but she is much too focused on that one demon as a fireball hits her from behind. There are about 3 fire ball breathing demons. Mina grits her teeth and rolls away to try and evade both the little demons and the big boss one. She goes for one fire ball breathing demon, but when she is about to destroy it, she gets slashed by one and then a fireball hits her on the side. She jumps in the air and spins 360 like a tornado to try and stagger them and then swings her chain back and forth to knock them over.
"Come here!" Mina shouts as she yanks one of them and then slams it down on the ground, making it disappear.
She rolls away from the big demon's attacks and then tries to take down the demon with the talons. She swings back and forth and slams it down before performing a flip kick. That demon disappears. However, she gets hit by the claws and then a fireball right behind her. She rolls away and grips her chain. Her long, thick bare legs are shaking, most of her body is singed from the fire balls hitting her and she doesn't know how long she can keep this up.
"There's...too many of them...!" Mina pants. "Even if I defeat them all, will I have the strength to go back...?"
Her train of thought gets interrupted by a fireball hitting her directly. She screams in agony, her Love Me Chain disappearing and she collapses on her side. Why? Why must she be defeated by some goons? Someone is behind all this, but it seems that mysterious person refused to show itself. What matters the most is getting out of this place. But...she is defeated. How can she go back like this?
"No...Usagi-chan..." Mina starts to have visions of her beloved. Her beloved Usagi. Then her mind flashes to the beautiful Neo Queen Serenity, the one who she must protect at all costs. If Mina was gone, then Queen Serenity will be in danger. This cannot happen. Not here. Not now. "I have someone to protect. There is NO WAY I am dying here!"
With newly found strength, she gets to her feet and she glows bright yellow, blinding the demons. Her tiara glows yellow and she runs toward the big demon. She raises her hands and puts her fingers on the tiara. The yellow jewel glows and shoots out a giant beam at the bigger demon. The big demon screeches in pain and the beam obliterates it into thin air. Mina has defeated the big boss. Now to defeat the remaining demons. She gives a confident smile and lashes out her Love Me Chain. She jumps in the air and spins like a tornado, yellow trails of light following the movement and hits the demon like a truck. Her power has become stronger due to her desire to protect her beloved, which means her Love Me Chain can hit harder than it did earlier. She goes for the three fragile demons. She swings left and right and then spins it around like a lasso, defeating all three of them at the same time. There are three talon demons left. Her chain glows and she swings left, right, up and down and then spins around to put her hands together, making them in a shape of a gun. She fires a yellow laser from her index fingers, obliterating the demons with ease. She sighs in relief when she has finally defeated the demons. She grabs the relics she has been holding on to and puts them in the holes they belong. The door glows white and fades, signaling that it has been unlocked.
Mina opens the door and a portal to the real world appears. She takes a deep breath and then steps into it, hoping her theory was correct.
And fortunately, she is correct. When she steps into the portal, the doors close and chains appear, locking it forever. The relics disappear as well.
Mina is now back home, right where she belongs. Her body isn't burned anymore and she is back to her normal self as well. She looks around to see that she is in the middle of the streets. She jumps for joy and then with excitement, she starts to sprint toward Usagi's home.
When she arrives, she bursts through the door, and sees Usagi in the living room. The first thing she does is toss her school bag aside and give her beloved a big hug.
"Usagi-chaaaan!" Mina says.
"Whoa, there! Mina-chan!" Usagi says. "What's up? You look like you haven't seen me in weeks!"
"A long story," Mina says. "But...now I'm here, with you~"
Usagi giggles and pets her "twin". "Welcome home, Mina-chan~"
