Zak looks at Professor Armstrong,"can we do it now?" Professor Armstrong nods,"are you sure you want to do it now?" Zak nods. Professor Armstrong sends out a bunch of patroni to the other professors. The other professors walk into the room of requirements. "Billie Joe, what's going on?" Regulus Black asks. Billie Joe looks around at the other professors,"Mr. Black has been hiding something huge all term. He has decided that it's getting too stressful to keep things from you. Not to mention that it's not fair the amount of detentions he's gotten for not paying attention. So he asked for my help in explaining what's going on." Regulus looks over at Zak,"Are you ok?" Zak blinks,"um. No. We've been stressed out lately. My p bass quit working. It's the month that we got diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. We think we're developing a crush on Nico. And we're worried about Mikey, he's been looking sick lately" "we? Who's we?" Regulus asks, looking confused. "Who's gonna explain that?" Zak says. "I will" Mike says. Zak glares at nothing. "Hi! I'm Mike Dirnt, physical protector in a borderline personality disorder system. The body has multiple personalities, due to extreme pain starting early in childhood" Mike says, smirking. Regulus blinks, trying to process what his nephew is saying but failing. "We may look like we are not paying attention, but in reality another alter is switching in to front. Also we have autism, which definitely makes it hard to stay focused. Zak Bagans, our other protector, is good at that so he's probably in front during class" Mike explains. Nico looks around,"For the record, Zak did not split any alters from abuse from Sirius or Britney. I've known Zak my entire life and can confidently say that the only reason he has Borderline Personality Disorder is because his joints like to slip out of place randomly, causing extreme pain for Zak." "Is there a name for what's causing the joint issues?" Regulus asks, looking at Mike. Mike stumbles a bit, then says "Yes, it's called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome." Professor Armstrong says "if Zak is found without Nico, we are to get Mikey and floo call Sirius." "That makes sense now" Regulus says. "It does?" Zak asks, wondering if his uncle is ok. Regulus nods,"but what's 'in front' mean?" Zak says,"the alter, or alters, in control of the body are fronting. It's a way of saying who's controlling the body. If that makes sense." Regulus nods," it does. Thank you for explaining. I have suspected something like this for a while now. It's nice to know this information." "How in the hell did he know?!" MK asks. "My trauma holder, MK, wants to know how you knew that?" Zak asks, raising an eyebrow. "It's the behavior changes between you and the other alters. Your protectors are sarcastic. You, however, are not. Also Zak Bagans gets this look like he just doesn't care about anyone or anything. It's pretty obvious, if you watch closely enough."
