Episode Four: Weapons Chapter
第四挿話：武器章

"Welcome back," Raiden appeared once more, the lights turning back on to reveal Raiden and Sakura once again, apparently having not moved from their positions from the previous Transformation Lessons chapter. "Did you know that it is not funny to turn off lights when someone is in the process of transforming?"
That doesn't count. Also, I'm the author, which means I have supreme power over all.
"Then why didn't you bother to change my personality in the Transformation Lessons special to something more subservient, if you're just gonna continue argue with me? What are you, a masochist or somethin—"
Kindly shut—
"Anyways, new chapter, new transformation, eh?" Raiden shrugged, before he readied himself in the middle of the classroom, the others also having stayed in the same positions they were in the previous chapter. "Also, something something Author said I get to use weapons which means I can commit violence—"
Anyhow.
Raiden immediately got down to business, pulling out what appeared to be the Demons Driver— "Oh NOT THIS AGAIN, but I'm actually going to be protective of this because this is just going to add to my neverending merch collection, also imagine how much I'd get from selling real Drivers to people, that sounds like a Good source of Income—"
And he gently put the Demons Driver on the side, next to the Two Sidriver and Revice Driver in the 'Wrong Drivers I did for a gag lmao' pile.
"Didn't you throw the Libera Driver — something something Premium Bandai — to the side as well?" Aiko asked, a deadpan expression forming on her face as she could only sigh.
"That doesn't count because that was the first chapter so I had to actually establish the gag because you know—"
Eventually, he rummaged around in the opening to his hammerspace, eventually pulling out the Genkai Driver and holding it in his right hand. "Now! Let's get down to business."
"First things first! You know the drill, but I have to repeat it just to make sure you don't turn the ground you're standing on into a Kamen Rider by accident. Equip the Driver by putting the Driver on your waist. With any luck, the belt straps will appear, unless Toei decides to actually put into production a DX version of the Genkai Driver for the recommended retail price of — to quote generic toy seller John Toei, too much — in which case you might actually have to equip the belt straps yourself."
"Didn't you say that last chapter—"
"I know, I'm too lazy to think of something more creative for this chapter. Maybe if it weren't for the fact that the Author decided to turn off the lights, I could have actually thought of something else, though this gag is getting too tiring—"
Looking at his waist, he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as he held the Driver to his waist. Recalling the Taiikuka and Sousha Monstrums incident, the memories flashed in front of him, as a navy blue belt strap began to emerge from the sides of the Driver, wrapping around his waist and tightening just enough. At the same time, Sakura stepped out, pulling out the Libera Driver and holding it up to her waist.

Raiden readied himself, pulling out the yellow lightning-themed transformation trinket, alongside the one Daiji had gained after being defeated, the karate girl having already given it to him. Inserting the two transformation trinkets into the slots of the Driver — the yellow lightning-themed transformation trinket into the left side of the Driver, and the grey soldier-themed transformation trinket into the right side of the Driver — the barrier began to crackle to life, sparks roaring with anger.
At the same time, Sakura pulled out the Cobra Vistamp from her holder, as she activated it, whirring to life. The Libera Driver also whirred to life, creating holographic projections of metal bars that formed a second barrier around the two Riders. Inserting it into the Driver, she slammed it downward onto the Vistamp Slot and Ohinjector of the Libera Driver, locking it into place and causing the transformation standby to whir.
And the double-layered barrier was a good thing. One of the two Monstrums attempted to charge forwards, running faster than Raiden had anticipated, before the barrier forced it to reel backwards, paralysing it for a moment.

The two Drivers continued to whir, standby tunes beginning to play as the two Riders prepared to transform.
"Henshin!"
Raiden activated his two transformation trinkets; he slammed his left hand into the yellow lightning-themed transformation trinket, activating the copper-coloured lightning rod as a few sparks were released, while he pulled on a trigger on the grey soldier-themed transformation trinket, firing bullets that enlarged into armour pieces. With the activation of both transformation trinkets, the gears in the Driver continued to whir, potentially whirring even more than before.
The barrier around him began to change colour, as the stars and lightning began to change from white and yellow to jet black and neon blue respectively. And from the barrier around Raiden, it produced a stream of sparks that began to turn into pieces of armour.
Meanwhile, Sakura slammed down the Libera Driver into its activated position, the Reflector Opener on the belt moved downward to reveal the emblem trapped within. The Vistamp that was attached to the belt repeatedly flickered bright blue and dark blue in the process.
Liberal Up! Ah! Going my way! Kamen Rider! Ja! Ja! Ja! Jeanne!

From within the Libera Driver, a blue energy projection of a cobra emerged, slithering around the Rider. Around her, blue pieces of armour began to materialise from thin air, hovering around her body as the blue cobra began to turn into the Rider's under-suit. Immediately afterwards, orange bits began to materialise around the Rider, while the blue armour pieces began to attach to the under-suit.
Energy burst forth from Sakura's transformation, as the orange bits began to turn into accent pieces that attach onto the blue armour pieces, as the final few armour pieces began to materialise around Sakura's head, hovering as she took a deep breath.
The bottom layer of the helmet formed, enclosing her head as the armour pieces began to lock on, as the helmet finally clicked into place, a final burst of energy attacking the Monstrums and sending them reeling.
At the same time, Raiden stared down the Monstrum as the under-suit clicked into place, before the barrier produced a stream of icons that began to change shape, forming into more pieces of armour that locked onto the bottom half of the under-suit. Immediately afterwards, the pieces of armour that formed from the stream of sparks began to attach onto the top half of the under-suit before locking on.
The armour pieces that served as his helmet began to lock around his head, as the HUD formed beneath the visor. Loosening his joints, he readied himself as Sakura could only react with a smile.
"Kamen Rider Denrai… SoldierStorm Form!" Raiden screamed, the voice modulator in his suit whirring to life and decreasing the pitch of his tone. "We will be the ones who decide the legacy and the prophecy of the Kamen Riders!"
Kamen Rider Denrai (仮面ライダーデンライ, Kamen Raidā Denrai), SoldierStorm Form (ソルジャーストームフォーム, SorujāSutōmu Fōmu) and Kamen Rider Jeanne (仮面ライダージャンヌ, Kamen Raidā Jannu), Cobra Genome (コブラゲノム, Kobura Genomu).
"And you know the drill, next form—"
Raiden pulled out the Live transformation trinket that he received from Daiji, taking out the soldier-themed transformation trinket in the process. At the same time, Sakura pulled out the Brachio Vistamp, taking out the Lion Vistamp from the Libera Driver and putting it back onto her holster.
"Let's do this." Raiden readied himself, taking another deep breath. "I'm boilin' hot!"
"Reminds me of Ikki-nii." Sakura grinned, preparing to activate the Vistamp.
"Of course, it's one of Revi's many catchphrases, after all."

Playing their respective transformation standby tunes, the two Riders prepared themselves, their suits giving them the necessary bursts of energy to charge forwards.

Raiden activated his two transformation trinkets; he slammed his left hand into the yellow lightning-themed transformation trinket, activating the copper-coloured lightning rod as a few sparks were released, while he pulled on a trigger on the white and gold Live-themed transformation trinket, firing bullets from its barrel. With the activation of both transformation trinkets, the gears in the Driver continued to whir.
Meanwhile, Sakura slammed down the Libera Driver back into its activated position, the Reflector Opener on the belt moved downward to reveal the emblem trapped within. The Vistamp that was attached to the belt repeatedly flickered magenta and gold in the process.

Denrai's top half began to change, the armour pieces that formed the soldier half morphing and changing colour, turning white and gold in the process. At the same time, the Lion Claws that served part of Lovekov's Lion Genome turned back into light, becoming bigger — roughly thrice its original size — before turning into a ball and chain, crashing onto the ground with a powerful thud.
"Right, so Brachio makes a ball and chain, that's pretty neat." Raiden noted, before he readied himself. "Kamen Rider Denrai, LiveStorm Form!"
Kamen Rider Denrai, LiveStorm Form (ライブストームフォーム, RaibuSutōmu Fōmu), and Kamen Rider Jeanne, Brachio Genome (ブラキオゲノム, Burakio Genomu) respectively.
"Wait, are we ignoring something more important here—"
Pulling up the Libera Driver and closing the Reflector Opener, Jeanne would pull out the Cobra Vistamp, placing it on one of the holders on her belt. Placing the Brachio Vistamp on the other holder slot, she activated the Lion Vistamp.
Lion!

Raion!
The Vistamp whirred to life, glowing yellow and red, as the Libera Driver whirred once more, forming multiple holographic projections of metal bars that attacked the Sousha Monstrum, causing it to fall to the ground as it attempted to block the hailstorm of bars that were attacking it to no avail. Inserting the Vistamp into the Vistamp Slot and Ohinjector of the Libera Driver, it locked into place, forming another standby loop to whir.

Slamming down the Libera Driver into its activated position, the Reflector Opener on the belt moved downward to reveal the emblem trapped within, revealing the emblem of a lion. The Vistamp that was attached to the belt continued to glow, flickering yellow and red repeatedly in the process.

Much to Jeanne's confusion, her armour didn't seem to change. However, the Vistamp on her Driver began to glow brightly, before the light within the Vistamp escaped its confines, landing into Jeanne's hands before it began to morph. As it finished morphing shapes, it revealed a pair of claws that attached to her hands, very similar to OOO's Tora Claws and Fourze's Claw Module.
Raiden, having noticed what had happened, grinned a little. Though… there was a surprised expression on his face that was thankfully covered by his face.
"So Lion Genome makes claws, huh…" Raiden trailed off, before he got back on track, continuing to unload another barrage of bullets on the Taiikaku Monstrum. "Regardless, Love-chan! You're here!"
"Rabu, rabu!" Lovekov (ラブコフ, Rabukofu), now in Lion Genome (ライオンゲノム, Raion Genomu), cheered a little.
"Something something weapons, also apparently there's now two podiums in the classroom, which is like, totally wack, because could you imagine what this classroom would like if there were more than 5 Riders transforming in the chapter, that'd be pretty wild—"
Immediately, Raiden recalled the Heika Monstrum incident, transforming back into StormingAncient Form (ストーミングエンシェントフォーム, SutōminguEnshento Fōmu).
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck from the clouds, crashing in between the two combatants, much to Raiden's surprise. It kicked up a dust cloud in the process, though that quickly dissipated because of the winds.
What emerged from it, however, was a yellow blade that seemingly resembled a mixture of a lightning bolt and a sword, embedded in a small crater that was crackling with electricity. Subconsciously, Denrai extended his hand out towards the blade, attempting to grab it the same way he reached out towards the Genkai Driver just a day ago. And, the past echoing once again, he grabbed the handle of the weapon, the sparks from the ground channelling through his body.
The sparks channelling through his body boosted him with strength, the Rider letting out a loud scream of surprise. It also gave him enough strength to pull it out of the ground, the blade of the sword crackling with electricity that shocked the Monstrum, paralysing it for a moment.
Raibolt Blade!

"The Raibolt Blade… huh?" Raiden blinked, before charging forwards. "Cool… reminds me of Ikazuchi too…"
Wielding the sword in his hand, he charged in the direction of the Monstrum, who barely had enough time to adapt before it was struck in the chest, sending it reeling from the attack. However, before it had a chance to recover, Denrai took the chance to run towards the monster again, sending out another slash and causing the monster to collapse onto the ground.
Deciding that with how dangerous the Monstrum was becoming, Denrai prepared a finisher, noticing what appeared to be a slot for the transformation trinkets on his Driver on the weapon. Taking his chances, he pulled out the yellow lightning-themed transformation trinket, inserting it into the slot of the weapon.
The blade crackled with electricity, glowing a bright hue of neon yellow, as Denrai wielded the sword in his hand. The mysterious voice from earlier once again called out to him — this time in a voice that felt akin to that of Touma Kamiyama (神山 飛羽真, Kamiyāmā Tōmā), Rintaro Shindo (新堂 倫太郎, Shindō Rintarō) and Kento Fukamiya (富加宮 賢人, Fukamiya Kento) speaking in unison — making its plea.
"Strike your opponent down! For the future of the children, for the voice of the swords! In the name of strength, in the name of promises! In the name of your friends, end this monster's story and continue yours!"
「敵を打ち倒せ！子供たちの未来のために、剣の声のために！力の名の下に、約束の名の下に！仲間の名において、このモンスターの物語を終わらせて、あなたの物語を続けて！」
Shorai Maelstorming Slash!

"Give me your strength… Buster. Kenzan. Slash. Saikou!" Raiden muttered to himself, readying himself.
Images began to flash in his mind; from Kamen Rider Buster (仮面ライダーバスター, Kamen Raidā Basutā)'s Dai Dan Dan, to Kamen Rider Kenzan (仮面ライダー剣斬, Kamen Raidā Kenzan)'s Shippu Kenbu, to Kamen Rider Slash (仮面ライダースラッシュ, Kamen Raidā Surasshu)'s Snack on the Chopper, to Kamen Rider Saikou (仮面ライダー最光, Kamen Raidā Saikō)'s Hikari Are. Taking a deep breath again, he simply smirked.
Letting the energy crackle from the top half of his armour into the weapon, he jumped into the air, preparing to execute a downward slash on the monster.
And so he did, pushing what appeared to be a trigger on the handle — just slightly under the cross-guard — in the process as the weapon proceeded to let out a roar. The blade collided with the chest of the armour, emitting a stream of sparks as it caused the monster to fall backwards, paralysed and unable to move.
And Raiden once more recalled the Yougosha Monstrum incident…
As the barrier dissipated, the Rider immediately charged into battle, before he was bathed by a golden light from the heavens. A bolt of lightning struck from the clouds, crashing between the two combatants and causing the Monstrum to reel a little bit in the process. A dust cloud formed for a moment, before dying down, revealing the all-too-familiar weapon.

Weapon in hand, Denrai attempted to hack and slash at the Monstrum. However, he was instead blocked from advancing by the shadow monsters who were attempting to gang up on the Rider. Unfortunately for them, defeating them was beginning to become easier, the Rider having begun to grow accustomed to the henchmen he'd fought twice at this point.
Helping his cause was the fact that their moves were becoming stale and predictable, as he easily parried and dodged, using the Raibolt Blade to hack and slash at them, defeating them with ease. Occasionally, he would send out a punch or kick, using the powers of the karate-themed transformation trinket to defeat a shadow monster that managed to get too close to the Rider.
And defeating them ejected their human hosts, as the five girls in the area rushed into the battlefield, bringing them to safety as fast as they could. Thankfully, the number of henchmen was beginning to die down bit by bit. Turning to his friends, Denrai flashed a thumbs up, before barely managing to parry an attack on the Monstrum. Defeating the last of the Monstrum's henchmen, he slammed his blade downward, preparing to strike the Monstrum.

Images began to flash in his mind; from Kamen Rider Ikazuchi (仮面ライダー雷チ, Kamen Raidā Ikazuchi)'s Zetsumetsu Dystopia, to Kamen Rider Zi-O (仮面ライダージオウ, Kamen Raidā Jiō)'s Giri Giri Slash, to Kamen Rider Brave (仮面ライダーブレイブ, Kamen Raidā Bureibu)'s Taddle Critical Finish, to Kamen Rider Bravo (仮面ライダーブラーボ, Kamen Raidā Burābo)'s Duriasshe. Taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes. Letting the energy crackle from the top half of his armour into the weapon, he jumped into the air, preparing to execute a downward slash on the monster.
And he was suddenly thrown back into the classroom, crashing into the wall, much to the shock of the rest of the group—
