chapter 1-
Kagami sat in her room, after finishing her drawing, she thought about how Adrien was so brave when he told his father he doesn't want to be a model anymore. He also said that now his father spends more time with him. she wasn't jealous was she?
no, she was jealous, and she was angry that she wasn't able to be honest about what she wants like Adrien and that her mother doesn't spend time with her like Adrian and his father. She looked at the drawing she drew, a portrait of her mother. She really liked drawing but was too scared to open up to her mother about it, because her mother says she needs to focus on her studies more and not on nonsense like drawing or painting.
but this drawing came out different, she felt there is more emotion to it, she felt like it was just… perfect. just like her mother. she hesitated, but remembered what being brave did for Adrien and his connection with his father. Kagami got up and took the drawing from her notebook as she walked to the door, but stopped. Is this really what she wants? what if her mother won't like it? What if she'll ban her from drawing ever again? she wouldn't be able to do the only thing that comforts her…
It's A risk, A risk she is not certain she is willing to take. "i'll never know unless I try" she confirmed her actions by saying this and walked out the door.
marinette's POV:
"Merinette! the croissants are going to burn!"
papa woke me up from dozing off on my ladybug stuff disguised as homework again "wah! yes! croissants!" I stumble my way to the oven forgetting to wear gloves and touching the tray with my bare hands. "ahh!" I screamed, dropping the tray. "Are you alright sweety?" my papa said as he picked up the croissants from the floor. "I'm fine" I said as I put my hands under cold water to ease the burn. "maybe you can take A break, you are so focused on your studies lately i'm starting to get worried!" Mama said coming from the counter to help us. "thank you mama, but i'm fine! you don't need to worry". she sighs "ok but take this and bandage your hands pls" she said as she turns to one of the cabinets, getting out bandages and hands them to me, I nod and go to my room.
"agh! Tikki! How can I be so clumsy again? I need to be in top shape to defeat Monarch!" I say while starting to bandage my hands. "don't worry marinette! you have been more responsible lately, accidents happen!" Tikki flew towards me to help with the bandage "I feel exhausted from all this guardian responsibilities, maybe A short nap wont hur-" as soon as I say that I hear a loud BOOM and screams "Tikki! spots on!"
"wait the bandageeeeee~".
As Ladybug, she tried to locate the location of the akuma attack. She spots Chat noir in the distance and follows him to the city center.
"how m'lady doing on this fine day?" chat noir said to Ladybug as she landed next to him "not great, let's finish this quickly" she says and throws her yoyo towards the akuma "shit!" she flinched and retrieved her yoyo "what happened? is everything alright?" he shouted towards her while avoiding attacks "forget about it! pay attention!" she says barely managing to avoid attacks.
"This akuma is different! She's not trying to hurt us, just touch us with her notebook".
"I bet that's where the akuma is! smart as always m'lady" he says and tries to snatch the notebook with no luck. Ladybug just stood there and thought of a plan while chat struggles "mind letting me in on that plan of yours bugaboo?" he asks "this is a notebook with the Tsurugi symbol on it, that's Kagami"
"I am not Kagami anymore! I am more courageous than her! I am Courage!" the akumatized Kagami said and charged towards Ladybug "Ladybug watch out!" Chat screams at her but it was too late, courage hit her with the notebook. going back and looking at the notebook courage says "It's a nice desire you have, how about you tell him!" she says and rips the paper. Suddenly Ladybug screams "I want to have Chat noir's kids and we'll name them Louis Emma and Hugo with A little pet hamster and live happily ever after!" the moment the words come out of her mouth she pales and covers her mouth with her hands.
"see? it wasn't that hard now was it?" Chat noir's face was shook but quickly changed into anger. "How dare you expose her secret like that? it's not yours to tell!" he says charging at Courage barely managing to avoid attacks "Ladybug snap out of it! I need you!"
Ladybug blinks and turns to look chat in the eyes
"Keep her busy, I'm gonna use my miraculous ladybug!" she says running to get cover behind a car "miraculous ladybug!" she screams to the air and a fire extinguisher falls from the sky "what am I supposed to do with this?" she says as she looks around in confusion she then looks at courage then the fire extinguisher then at Chat and gets an idea. "Chat! go over there and get your cataclysm ready!" Chat noir does exactly what she says "cataclysm!" She heard his signature line and started her plan. Now it was only her and Courage, she needs to grab her attention. "hey Courage! over here!" Courage turns over to Ladybug and gets foamed in the face, She stumbles struggling to keep standing which causes her to drop her notebook. "Now Chat!" Chat jumps out and cataclysms the notebook "no!" Courage screams as she turns back to being Kagami.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug screams as she throws the fire extinguisher into the air fixing all the damage that was caused by the akuma
"pound it!" Ladybug and Chat noir said together as they fist bumped "ouch!" hissed Ladybug
"What's wrong with your hands?"
asked Chat worried "nothing just a tiny burn"
"oh, that explains it… how did you manage to burn yourself?" askes Chat getting curious
"it doesn't matter Chat just forget about it"
Chat understands and stays quite
"umm Ladybug about what you said earlier in the fight…" Chat say awkwardly
"look Chat about that-"
beep beep, beep beep both their miraculouses beep signaling that they're going to detransform soon.
"let's meet at the eiffel tower at midnight to talk about this, right now we have to go before we detransform" says Ladybug to Chat
"ok see you then M'lady"
