Upon his release Jason immediately resurrected the Seer. She immediately worked with Phoebe again to try and return the Hollow to it's containment. They failed, it seemed that the Source's new army was powerful enough to block their mutual magick. They would have to get closer, and that would require a new army of their own. Jason resurrected his own army, many of whom the charmed ones had battled and vanquished. None of them angered Piper more than seeing Gideon, the traitorous white lighter who murdered Chris and tried to murder Wyatt. She immediately tried to blow him up, it failed, but it did hurt him, which was gratifying.

Gideon: I'm sorry okay. I did what I thought was neccessary for the greater good.
Piper: Murdering my children, that's for the greater good?
Gideon: I thought so at the time.
Piper: And it got you bound to the service of Evil.
Gideon: Yes, I've had to adapt.
Piper: Bull. There was a demon who sacrificed it's life to stop the Hollow, you on the other hand betrayed your people. You deserve to be in Hell.
Jason: We all need to work together to save the world. But if you can't, I can send Gideon back to death for now.
Piper: No, if Pam can work with you, and these other charmed ones can work with former enemies, so can we.
Jason: Okay then, let's get going before the Source becomes too powerful.
