Jason was meeting with the white lighters and avatars to discuss who among each group would be guarding the Hollow now. Jason had agreed to personally guard it, for the first 100 years. Gideon wanted to guard the Hollow as well, as his way of seeking redemption for his sins. But the other white lighters were hesitant to put someone there who had betrayed them, they no longer considered Gideon to be one of them. In the meantime, Mel was talking to Abby.

Abby: Thanks for saving me.
Mel: Yeah well, I like to think you'd do the same for me.
Abby: I would have. Are you seeing anyone?
Mel: I am.
Abby: Well that's my bad luck. But if things don't work out between you and her, just keep me in mind.
Mel: I will.

Parker was also talking to Maggie.

Maggie: Thanks for saving me.
Parker: Always. I wish you and Jordan the best, in this life.
Maggie: What do you mean?
Parker: Phoebe told me that her old boyfriend, Cole, moved on to be reincarnated. But he hoped that in some future life they could be together.
Maggie: You think we could be together in some future life?
Parker: Well, a man can hope can't he.
