When Sirius left, Joan picked up Severus and said "Come on, were taken a walk!" Severus didn't like the tone. She apporated to a muggle park. Joan dragged Severus to the river. Severus screamed as she picked him up and dunked him in the water.

Tobias Snape had been sitting on a bench thinking about his life. He had stopped drinking after his son left for Hogwarts. His plan was to apologize to his son for his behavior. His wife had died the year before. Tobias had realised what he had done to his own family. It broke his heart that his son clearly hated him. Tobias was about to get up when he heard a scream.
He ran to where he had heard it come from. A woman dunking a small child into the river. Tobias grabbed a shovel from the digging stations, and hit the woman on the back of the head. Well taking the three year old, he noticed the child looked familiar. "Are you okay kid?" He asked.
The child nodded.

Severus wondered why his father was saving him. When he was asked if he was okay he nodded. Explaining what happened to him, Tobias took the kid back to his place. Sending a letter to Severus' caretaker, he sat the kid on the sofa and gave him some food.
"Why aw you hewping mwe?" Severus asked his father. Tobias chuckled at the cuteness of his voice. "Because, your my son and that's my job." Was his reply before asking Severus if he wanted to change his clothes.
The child nodded and Tobias searched the house for some of his old cloths.
Eventually, he found some. Shortly after Severus was changed, Sirius knocked on the door.
"Is he okay!?" Sirius panicked. "Yes, yes he's fine." Said Tobias.
Sirius took Severus back and Tobias said they could visit any time.
