Sirius bonded with Severus more and more as the days went by.
They did visit Tobias once a week. Sirius hired another sitter that Tobias had recommended. Her name was Dorothy and she was around Tobias Snapes age.
Tobias thought about the woman he recommended as a sitter. Him and Dorothy grew up together. She had been one of the very few friends he had. They met when they were five. Tobias winced at the flashback.
Tobias and Dorothy had been friends for ten years. The fifteenth year olds were now in a relationship. Dorothy would babysit his little sister, Purely.
One day, Tobias walked into Dorothy with another guy. The to were kissing and hugging. Tobias didn't say anything. He walked away, heartbroken. The person he thought was his friend, the person he loved for ten years, the person he thought loved him back turned out to only be using him.
Tobias learned to hate everything about himself. He didn't see Dorothy for years. He married Eileen and she married the man she really loved. Tobias never truly got over Dorothy. He was broken for years after that incident. And it was all Dorothy's fault
