Nami brushes Otamas hair, both in kimonos relaxing as joyous laughter and partying happen just outside.

"You have such beautiful hair." Nami smiled, gently rubbing her fingers through the short strands of purple.

Tama giggled and turned to her "Really?! I wish it was longer like yours. It's so nice and soft."

"I think it's perfect at this length. Long hair is kinda difficult to tend to if you don't treat it properly." Nami say before laying down on her side beside Tama.

"Then why do you have it long?" Tama asks.

Nami smiles and gently strokes Tama's hair "I thought a change of look was necessary."

"Did you do it for big bro?" Tama asks with starry eyes.

"Eh?" Nami scoffs sitting up "No, I... we were going to the new world and... That's not the reason."

Tama pouts before thinking "Did something happen?"

Nami looks over at Tama and gently lifts her onto her lap, she hugs her softly "Something did happen..." she gently kisses Tama on the head "Something amazing..."

Tama held Nami's hand and looked up.

The door to the room slid open loudly, stumbling in was Luffy with a mug in his hand before falling flat on his face.

Nami looked on confused as Tama giggled rubbing over to him.

"Big Bro!" Tama laughed picking up Luffys face.

Luffys eyes looked at Tama and he chuckles "TAMA!" grabbing her he rolled onto his back laughing as he ticked her.

"EEP!" Tama shouted as Luffy tickled her relentlessly, she laughed a lot trying to keep his hands away.

"Luffy..." Nami said as she crawled over to them "What's wrong with you?" She asked suspiciously as she poked Luffys cheek.

Luffys arms went lip causing the laughing Tama to fool off his chest. He looked up at Nami and smiled "Hi Nami!" He said lifting his seeming heavy hand to wave at her.

Tama grabs Luffys nose and pulls on it "You smell like drunk people."

Nami scoffed "You? Drinking? What were you thinking?" Nami huffed lifting Luffy to sit him up.

Luffy grumbled "I... felt left out." He said solemnly before giggling "It got better the more I drank."

Nami sighed "You don't drink Luffy. I don't know what to do."

Luffy turned to see Nami's face.

Nami blushes faintly and gave him a stern look "What?"

Luffy tilted his head and groaned.

Nami turned to Tama "Could you grab a cup of water please?"

Tama nods and stands running toward the kitchen.

Nami drags a slouched Luffy to the nearest futon laying him down with a huff. She's startled as he grabs her wrist pulling her down to him "Luffy?!"

Luffu hums with furrowed brows sitting up.

"Just lay down." Nami groans "Tama's bringing water."

"Nami." Luffy spoke groggily.

Nami looked at him, he seems serious.

"Your really amazing." His voice now a soft whisper. "I'm so happy your with us."

Nami blinked and sat down, the grip on her wrist loosened.

"You guys really scared me..." Luffy slouched and leaned back only to get caught by Nami, holding his torso up. "I thought Kaido... when he blew up the mountain..."

"You said you knew we were okay." She retorted quietly.

"I did... but..." he hugged her tightly.

She sat still, feeling him faintly shake.

"What if he... killed you... the heat... the melting..." he begun to shook as he held her "I... thought I lost you guys... i thought I failed again..."

She felt dribbles of water drop on her shoulder and held him tight, fisting his kimono "Luffy... Luffy it's okay... we're okay..." she ran her fingers through his hair feeling him slowly calm down.

"You guys are my friends... my family..." he sniffled "Please don't die... don't... captains orders..."

She held in her tears holding him tight in her arms "We won't, we don't leave you." She gulped holding in her crying.

Luffy held her as he fell onto his side, soon snoring as he fell asleep.

She breathed quietly, hearing his quiet snoring. She slips out his arms and sits up.

Tama huffs as she walks in seeing Luffy in his side "Is he okay?" She asked standing beside Nami, getting no response she looks over seeing Nami with the saddest expression, her eyes watering as she bit her lip tightly "Sis?" Tama whispered setting down the cup before hugging Nami.

Nami, glances at Tama and hugs her back. She takes deep breaths before speaking in a shaky tone "Thanks Tama." She whispers before petting her.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Tama asks worriedly.

Nami wipes away her tears and sighs "It's alright, Luffy just... brought up something emotional."

Tama holds the cup of water to Nami.

Nami takes it and sips it, smiling to Tama as she lowers the cup from her lips "Thank you."

The two sat in silence for a while, watching Luffy snoring as he slept. Nami gently takes the blanket covering Luffy, she sighs and rubs Tama's shoulder.

"Would you like to lay down?"

Tama yawns and nods.

The two lay down, Tama laying between Luffy and Nami.

"Did I scare you?" Nami asked covering Tama in the blanket.

"A little bit." Tama said seeing Luffy with little tear marks.

"How bought a little story?" Nami asked smiling down at Tama.

Tama rolled toward Nami and nodded.

Nami relaxed and rolled onto her back "I guess you could call a princess story. But... anyway. A long time ago their was a girl. Her home was taken over by a cruel tyrant. To the tyrant, the girl was special, he took her in and promised her if she joined him, her people would be safe. She had no choice but to join him, and to gain her trust he made another promise, if she brought him a ton of money, she could buy her home back. And so she worked, she helped the tyrant and stole money from people. She ruined people's lives taking all of their money, even what little they had. She felt horrible, but she couldn't afford to dwel on it.

She glanced over seeing Tama stare at her with interest.

She smiled "One day, she encountered a boy. He was very simple, very honest. She thought she could trick the boy and used him to get more money. She saw how honest he was on their short journey together, and felt guilty for tricking him so she left. She went to finally turn in the money, after years of working she could finally save her island, but the tyrant betrayed her. Keeping the money for himself. She felt alone, her people marched to the tyrant to fight them. She was scared she'd lose them, her people, her friends, her family."

Nami looked to Tama seeing her look sad.

"Just as she lost all hope, the boy whom she used and abandoned came to her. He promised to take all her pain away in exchange for joining him. She knew him, how kind he was, his strength. She didn't want him to get hurt, but she had no one else. She agreed and he marched to the tyrant, and stomped him out. Her and her peoples suffering ended. The honest boy saved her and them without knowing anything. And she joined him, permanently. She could finally be free, Perdue her dreams, and live happily with him..."

Tama giggled "That boy sounds like big bro."

Nami scoffs and rolls onto her side "Does he?"

"Is that why you grew out your hair?" Tama asked.

Nami sighed and smiled "Perhaps."

"Good story."

The two girls turned seeing Luffy watch the two with a grin.

"Big Bro! Are you okay?" Tama sat up urgently.

Luffy grinned "I just felt a little weird, but damn if sleeping didn't make me hungry."

Tama sighed.

Nami covered her face under the blanket and whined.

"Nami it was a good story." Luffy chuckled.

"Shut up!" Nami pouted.

"Hey Tama could you get me some water?" Luffy asked.

"Yep! Be right back." Tama said rushing off if the empty cup.

Luffy turned "Nami."

Nami poked out from under the blanket embarrassed.

"Thank you. I really am proud of you. Your really amazing and you've grown a lot. Thank you for taking me around the world." Luffy said chuckling as he laid back down with a huff. He felt her hug his arm.

Nami laid beside him, tears streaming down her cheeks "Love you."

Luffy sighed, wiping her tears away before putting his Strawhat on her head "Just you being here is enough." They laid in silence before he hears quiet snoring, he lifts the hat seeing her sleeping on his arm. He smiles and puts the hat back over her head.

Tama walking in quietly with a cup.

Luffy takes the cup and makes room between him and Nami. After Tama lays between them and he drinks the water he covers Tama and Nami "Goodnight." He whispers kissing Tama on the head.

Tama yawns and closes her eyes "Night..."
