Hey everyone how's it going?
And now here's the alternate ending, starting when Steve offers to help C-3PO and R2 return home, and I hope you'll all enjoy it as much as you hopefully enjoyed the preceding chapter.

Alternate Ending
Setting: The Triskellion: Washington D.C.
Location: Elevator
"I'm sorry to hear that you guys. But you know what? I actually have a good friend of mine who can help you return to where you need to be. In fact I can contact him right now if you'd like," Steve replied sympathetically and then offered them.
"Really? You can do that for us? Oh yes that would most certainly be wonderful," C-3PO responded joyfully while R2 released delighted whistles to which Steve chuckled. Afterwards the hero extracted his cell from his pocket and dialed his friend Dr. Strange informing him of the present situation with the droids. In response Strange created a portal where he was and transported himself to the elevator where his friend was and after introducing himself to the droids he created another portal to their own galaxy and Naboo to be exact which C-3PO and R2-D2 utilized and profusely thanked both Strange and Steve for their assistance as they exited said elevator.
Strange then created another portal for himself to exit before turning to Steve.
"I'm sorry but did you also wish to go somewhere else? If so you can come with me through this portal after which we'll proceed from there," he offered the latter while sensing the tension within the elevator and in turn wondering if his friend was in any trouble.
At first Steve was going to refuse the other hero's kind offer since he frankly had everything well in hand and knew he'd be more than capable of kicking the butts of all of those clearly up to no good agents surrounding him. But then as he thought about it he wondered why he should even bother now that he was being offered a practically quick and safe ticket to get the heck out of there instead of having to deal with these losers?
"Screw this," he finally thought to himself and then turned towards the famed sorcerer with a bright grin.
"Sure why not? And don't worry I'll explain everything but for now let's just get the heck out of here," he gladly answered to which Strange smiled back and together they turned and exited through the portal followed by it dissipating behind them.
The remaining agents stood there in response, eyes bulging out like saucers and mouths gaping open that their prey had just evaded their grasp. Then the majority of them, those who were secretly HYDRA that is, found their astonishment morphing into anger as literal puffs of smoke repeatedly emerged from their ears like the smoke from a choo choo train. Brock's especially. But alas. There was nothing they could do.
Meanwhile World Council meeting General Secretary Pierce, who also happened to be one of HYDRA's current heads unbeknownst to all except for those connected to that horrid organization, observed the scene and Steve's unexpected escape with rage before quickly excusing himself and retiring to his office. Upon therewith he grabbed ahold of a baseball bat and a la Kylo Ren's childish temper tantrums from "The Force Awakens" screamed in fury while proceeding to swing his bat around like a lightsaber at ferocious speeds and smash everything around him like a spoiled and temperamental child who didn't get the toy they wanted.
But no matter. The good captain was safe and sound and after getting his brings he'd soon go on to team up with another close friends of his, the lovely Black Widow Natasha Romanoff, in order to get some dogonne answers.
