chapter 5

And sure enough I did not need Alice's ability to see the future to know what would be happening once we got home and no one had to hold up a human facade anymore. Thankfully when I pulled into the garage Carlisle's car was already there it was good he was home for this. When we entered the house we sat down around the dining room table. Everyone was silent while taking their seats but their thoughts spoke volumes. why would he do something so stupid if she says anything we'll never be able to come back here - Rosalie. I don't get what the big deal is. No one saw anything - Emmett. I hope he's okay. He looks so shook up - Esmé. And plenty more along those lines Jasper was worried about how it would affect Alice. Alice was singing the alphabet backwards blocking me out. needless to say Rosalie was the first to comment making sure everyone was aware she believed that Hope shouldn't be allowed to survive the incident. Jasper didn't disagree with Rosalie but just out of concern for Alice's safety whereas for some reason Rose seemed to have some sort of personal vendetta against her. Emmett still didn't understand what the big deal was. Esmé just didn't want anyone to be hurt. Alice was still blocking me out quite seamlessly. Carlisle was doing his best to calm the situation, not that it was helping we had been arguing about this for the past ten minutes and no one had shifted their views in the least. If I'm being honest I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the conversation after that when Carlisle very firmly said that killing anyone was out of the question. That is until Alice finally slipped and I could see everything she found out from her visions. I couldn't believe what I saw, it just couldn't be right, it wasn't possible
