It was a quiet evening in the Thousand Sunny. The sun is slowly setting, the breeze burst through the ship, and the seawater was slightly stable, with a bit of current, but not as bad even since Straw Hats entered the New World.

What's more, is the fact the crew is being prepared for their magnificent feast by the infamous chief of the crew, Black Leg Sanji. Everyone waited patiently... well almost one...

"SANJI! Hurry up, I'm starving!" Whine the rubber head captain, Monkey D. Luffy, banging his fist with a fork and knife on each hand.

"Be patient, rubber idiot!" The blonde-haired chef shouted before he turns to both Nami and Robin with his usual wooing behavior.

"Nami-swan, Robin-chwan, your food will be ready soon!"

"Idiot..." Zoro mumbled as he guzzled his sake.

Miyu, on the other hand, was sitting impatiently and was anxious to know when dinner is ready, and how she did maintain her behavior as much as she can.

"I'm excited to see what we're having tonight.!" She exclaimed, wagging her tail excitedly.

Nami smiles and caresses her head.

"Well, I bet you're really hungry, right?"

"Oh, my, how much energy." Robin chuckled.

"Honestly, I'm hungry too, so much so that my stomach is roaring like a sea king. Although I don't have a stomach anymore! Yohohohoho!" Brook chortled.

Miyu started to laugh at his corny bone jokes.

"You're funny, Brook! Hehe!" She held her stomach from laughing hard, Goo on the other hand was having such a riot.

Sanji lights his cigarette and expels the smoke.

"Well, don't worry. The food will be ready soon."

Miyu sees him smoking and her tail wags even more.

'Wow, Sanji looks so cool when he lights up those smoke sticks of his,' she mentally commented. 'I wonder if I can be cool like him too.'

I fair to say due to her aging process is quite different compared to humans and other species, since more in her 20s but still acts and appears like a 13-year child. She figures if she can become cool like Sanji and everyone in the Straw Hats, maybe she would do so. I mean, after all, it's been over several weeks ever since she'd been saved and rescued by them from Brutus and his Slavers, and she officially become a new member of the crew of the Sunny.

"Alright everyone, the moment you've all been waiting for," Sanji announced, carrying dishes of steaming hot foods fit for a whole crew of the future pirate king. "Bon appetit!"

Leaving the top cover shows all sorts of seafood that made Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper's mouth drool!

"Let's eat!"

"Yay!" Both Chopper and Usopp cheered.

The three nosedive in and started eating like animals until Sanji starts kicking them. Nami gets in and hits all four of them.

"Stop fooling around! Huh?"

She then noticed Miyu picking up a cigarette from Sanji that fell while they were fighting.

And just as she was about to put it in her mouth, Nami quickly snatch the cigarette out of her hand.

"Miyu what are you doing?!" She yelled, which made Miyu look jolt a little.

"I was just..."

"You know better!" Nami softly scolds her.

"Hey, Nami! What's happening?" Luffy asked with a mouthful.

"Miyu was trying to smoke." Robin acknowledge

"Is that a bad thing?" He tilts his head, until an instant, Nami smacks him.

"Of course, it's a bad thing, moron! I mean wouldn't you know because you never smoke one of them yourself!" She shouted, with a comical angry expression with sharp teeth.

"Big Sis Nami… I'm sorry." Miyu hung her head sadly.

Nami deeply sighed. "It's okay, sweetie." She petted her head. "Just don't try to smoke."

"Why not?" Miyu tilt her head confused about why she shouldn't.

"Trust me, you shouldn't." Nami sternly said. "Promise me don't ever smoke this, okay?"

"Okay, I promise." She nodded.

"Good." Nami gave a sweet smile. "Now let's enjoy our meal before we call out for the night." She then proceeds to chow down her food.

'I don't understand why I can't smoke as Sanji does... what's so bad about it?' Miyu wondered deep into her mind.

"Hey!" Usopp shouted, as Luffy always steal some of his food, and Chopper's as well.

"Luffy, leave some for us!" Chopper added, angrily.

Later that night as all the Straw Hats are asleep, (plus Zoro was on the crow's nest sleeping which he should've been on night patrol) Miyu was laying on her bed, staring up at the ceiling with her eyes burning with determination.

"I know, Big Sis Nami is doing this for my good, but I'm sure it would be cooler and intimidating for those bad guys much more if I tried and how much everyone would praise me! I can just see myself now."

Thus she daydreamed herself shooting her slingshot at several marines who captured and tied up Luffy, Nami, and all the other Straw Hats. An adult version of herself arrives, much sexier, with sunglasses and a cigarette in her mouth. She stands in front of his friends and smiles tortuously.

"Sup, my Big Sis and Luffy; I'll kick their asses into ''Kingdom Come!''"

The rest of the marine soldiers flee for their lives as she freed her crew mates from their bounds, Nami hugs her.

"Miyu, you're amazing! And that cigarette looks so cool on you..."

"Well done, Miyu! You are a very important member of my crew!" Luffy smiled proudly.

"Mi Mi, you such a saving goddess that came to our rescue!" Sanji wooed her with love in his eyes.

"You're quite a crack shot, Miyu," Usopp praised her skills. "You've become a real sniper like me!"

Miyu smiles arrogantly as he rubs a finger against his nose and his tail moves frantically.

"Yes, I know."

(Back to reality.)

Miyu smiled mischievously.

"Alright, I'm going to do it!"

Miyu and Goo quietly sneak off her bed and tip-toed towards the door, not wanting to wake both Nami and Robin up.

She slowly made her way to the men's living quarters, Miyu carefully open the door and slink herself through the crack. She looked around and finds Sanji's bunk where is shifting around and talking to himself in his sleep. Probably another pervert dreams about Nami or Robin, or any women he dreams about. Miyu inches over and finds his packs of cigarettes snugged into his shirt pocket.

"This is going to be difficult... Goo." Miyu murmured.

Goo, though unsure, transforms into a fishing rod. Miyu tries to hook up the pack of cigarettes but is very difficult.

"Just... A... Little... More..."

Eventually, she'd manage to hook it and reel it up slowly and try not to tug, or else will wake up the chef.

"Phew..." She sighed. "Mission accomplish, Goo."

Goo looked at his friend and sighed in relief.

"Gooooo…"

Without making too much noise, she manages to take Sanji's lighter from the nightstand, and huddle over outside the deck.

"I know I'd promise Big Sis, but if I'm going to become cool like the rest of the Straw Hats, I'm gonna had to just this once."

With that, she lights it and starts inhaling the burned tobacco only for her to burst out coughing, but held her mouth to muzzle it down to not wake anyone. The taste however was god awful, how can someone like Sanji be into smoking is beyond her. Nonetheless, she'd kept smoking.

By the next morning, everyone is ready to continue their journey through the New World until Nami, Luffy and Robin come to Sanji looking for something.

"Hey, Sanji! What about some breakfast, eh?"

"Shut up, rubber head! I can't find my cigarettes or my lighter anywhere!."

"Oh, what a tragedy. Are you sure you looked good?" Robin asked.

"Of course, Robin-chwan! I had them last night... It just disappeared.

Oh, I'm sure you've just run out." Nami suggested.

While they search around for Sanji's missing cigarettes and lighter, Nami also added.

"By the way, has any of you seen, Miyu and Goo? Robin and I had woken up and noticed she was not on her bed." She said with a hint of concern but tried to remain calm. "Luffy, have you seen her this morning?"

No, but I smell smoke.

Nami then fits the pieces.

"There wouldn't be...! Ugh, that girl, as soon as I catch her...!" Nami grumbled, marching toward the upper floor of the stern where her tangerine grove is located.

"Wait! Sweet little Mi Mi has been using my cigarettes?!" Sanji was shocked by that revaluation.

"WHAT?!" Chopper shrieked and panicked. "She shouldn't be doing that, her lungs won't handle it!"

Luffy and Nami rushed over to where the smoke is coming from as the others followed... to see that Miyu was trying to blow out some leaves from Nami's tangerine tree.

"Ahem!"

"Eep!" Miyu jolted by their presence but more importantly saw the scowled look on Nami's face with her hands resting on both sides of her hips.

"Uh, hi…?" She gives her the fakest innocent grin on her face, hiding the pack of Sanji's smoke.

"Young lady, do you have something to explain to us, most notably me of course." Nami coldly said while she tried to maintain her cool.

"About what?" Miyu trembled in her voice, with her ears lowered down, and her tail tucked underneath her legs.

Oh, you know very well what I'm talking about! What were you doing with Sanji's cigarettes?!

And more importantly. you should have used the lighter to roast the meat!" Luffy exclaimed only for Nami to smack him on side of his head.

"This is not the time for this matter!" Nami snapped before the turn to face Miyu equally more pissed. "And you, what have we told yesterday? Didn't you make that promise?!"

Miyu shivered.

"I... I... just wanted to..."

"You know what, I don't want to hear. Go to your room right now!" She demanded.

"But... Big Sis..."

Miyu was about to cry.

"NOW!" The navigator shouted.

Surprised and started to whimper. Then, full of rage, she says something unthinkable.

"FINE... I HATE YOU, NAMI! I HATE YOU ALL! I wish I had never met you!"

Everyone was shocked by this as Miyu took off running to the women's living quarters, crying while Goo followed closely behind before the door slammed shut so loud it almost echo the skies.

"My goodness, how harsh…" Brook's jawbone almost jarred in utter shock.

"Wow sister, you didn't have to go that far." Franky objects.

Nami just stood there silently, felt a bit remorseful, but at the same time knew she was reasonable to 'Discipline' her. But still, her heart aches from Miyu's words.

"Nami... You've gone too far." Luffy said, with a stern look in his eyes.

"Yeah, but she broke that promise she made, you have no right to say I've gone too far!" Nami rebuked that claim.

"With all due respect," Sanji intervene. "I think you've hurt her. Yes, she did disobey you, but you didn't have to go all out on her."

"Even so... I..."

Luffy surprises her by kissing her on the cheek.)

"Are we going to talk to her or just stand there perseverating on it? He smiled with his typical silly face at her.

Nami couldn't help but laugh a bit before giving him playful love bonk (gently) on his head.

"You're right, dummy; although I don't think she's ready to talk to me right now." She sighed at that fact.

"Not to worry, Nami, just gives her some space and she'll soon calm down," Usopp suggested.

"Just give her some time and soon enough, Miyu is bound to be ready to have a conversation with ya."

"I hope so, Usopp, but still..." Nami then felt something plop on her head and it was nonother than Luffy's treasure, his straw hat.

"Come on, quit worrying too much," Luffy assured her, which made her smile with confidence.

Meanwhile, Miyu sobbed non-stop in her bed, burying her face in the pillow.

"Goo..." Goo rubbed against her tearful cheeks, trying to comfort her.

"P-Please Goo," She sniffed. "Just let me be."

Understand her sadly, the little blob was just about to leave when the door opened in front of him. To his surprise to see nonother than Sanji.

"Goo?" Looking confused.

"Hey," He patted the little blue blob. "Is Miyu okay?"

The little blob shook his head.

"Would you mind leaving us in private?" He asked politely to which, Goo nodded and hovers out of the room as Sanji closes it behind him.

He then knocks on the door and the Lycan girl still has her head buried in the pillow.

"Can I come in?" He asked cautiously.

"Please... go away..." She buried her face in her pillow more. "Leave me alone..."

Sanji sighs and enters the ladies living chamber as he makes his way to her bed, sits down next to Miyu, and rubs her back giving comfort to the little wolf girl.

"Mi-Mi, you have to talk to Nami... You're making her worried. You also need to apologize to her for what you said."

"Why should I?" She whimpered. "All I ever wanted is to try to be cool like you." She sobbed more on her pillow. "You smoke and no one else complains, so why can I?!"

"Because you would hurt yourself. It's not good for your health such as you." He explained.

It was true though. Miyu's lungs were hurting after inhaling the burned tobacco, not to mention how awful it tasted and made her feel a little sick in her stomach, but still, she couldn't stop crying because of Nami shouting and getting angry at her.

"It doesn't matter, I never want to speak to Big Sis, nor anyone else ever again! SO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" She then went back to crying some more on the pillow.

Sanji didn't leave by her side, smiling.

Sure she has gone a bit far on that. But it's only because she was very worried about you. I'm sure she's very sorry for it."

"Really, Sanji?" Miyu looked up with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Of course." He winked.

"Besides, don't you think breaking Nami's promise hurt her as well?" Sanji asked.

"Yes, I guess it did." She said remorsefully.

"Well, go talk to her, okay?"

"Okay..." She smiled a bit but wasn't full of herself.

"That's a good girl," He ruffled her hair, making her giggle. "Nami's at her study room working on her new map, she's probably feeling too hard on herself for what happened."

~In Nami's Drafting Table, In The Library~

Nami was trying to work on her maps, but she was failing to do since she can't get over the echoing repeats of what Miyu said 'I HATE YOU, NAMI! I HATE YOU ALL! I wish I had never met you!'

"Argh, I can't focus!" Placing both her hands on her temples. "I just can't think straight!" He groaned and moaned in frustration.

"Maybe... Miyu may never forgive..." She had looked at the blank sheet of mapping paper as a single tear dropped on it, as more tears slowly formed in her brown eyes.

Feeling remorselessness of what she did, even though Nami had the right to be upset and punish the little lycan girl for disobeying and breaking her promise to not smoke Sanji's cigarette, at the same time she felt like she's been too hard on her and the guilt is eating away her soul.

"Maybe I'll work on this map later..." She sighed in defeat.

At that moment, someone knocks on the door.)

'Perfect... Now, who could that be?' She thought mentally before turning towards the door. "Come in."

The door slowly opens as Miyu carefully enters.

"Big Sis...?"

"Miyu?!" Nami gasped, not expecting to see her.

"Is it okay if I talk to you? If you're mad at me still, please don't be mad at me for what I said or did!" She panicked a bit.

Without weaning, Nami ran up to hug Miyu, catching her off guard.

"Oh, Honey, forgive me! I didn't mean to yell at you!"

She allowed Nami to hold her into an apologetic embrace, tightly and almost like she was about to crush her.

"Big Sis... you are crushing me...!" She wheezed.

"Sorry!" She lets go of her. But Nami looks at her annoyed and a bit discouraged

"Even so, I want to know why you wanted to smoke, young lady. Why did do have to do that after you promised me which you break." She stated.

Miyu tried her best to hold up her sobs, she takes a deep breath and respond by saying.

"The reason why is that seeing Sanji smoke and looking so cool and everything. I just... I just wanted to be cool like him. I thought if I do these things I would be cool like all you guys." She said; desperately holding in her raw emotion inside her. "How can I be the best Straw Hat Pirate if I can't do cool things like you, Luffy, Zoro, or even Sanji."

Looking quite surprised by this, Nami then place both her hands on her shoulders, and kneel to reach her level, giving the gentlest smile she'd ever given.

"Oh, sweetie, I understand where you're coming from. But you need to realize that don't need to do or try the same things we do to make you special." She smiled.

"I...I don't" She asked, with hopeful eyes.

"Of course not," Nami winked at her. "You have unique talents yourself. I mean you have your little blob friend that can change into anything to aid ya, and you have good long-range skill with Usopp's old slingshot and special marbles both he and Franky made for you to use in any scenarios."

"I guess," Miyu thought to herself.

"And never forget it, you are my little sister and I will always worry about you. But please don't try to do anything like it again. I would never forgive myself if something happened to you."

Miyu then hugs her dearly.

"Okay, I will never do these things ever again, and I'm sorry I worried you." She made it clear this time to Nami to never again do that.

"Good," She smiled softly. "I'm Sorry for yelling at you, Miyu."

It's okay, Big sis. I know you had the reason to." She smiles up at her. "And I'm sorry for what I said, I don't hate you or anyone else. I'm sorry." Miyu whimpered.

"Ssshh... Forget about that." She pulled her into her and stroked her ears. "All is forgiven."

Without them knowing, the rest of the Straw Hats witness everything that had happened and smiled happily.

~In The Kitchen~

Later that evening, Sanji was in the kitchen, washing dishes when he heard the door opening. At first, he thought it was his captain, Luffy just to pester him when dinner is coming and whatnot, but was relieved that it was just Miyu as she was hiding something behind her back.

"Oh, Miyu?" Sanji smiled. "What going on? If you're hungry I'll assure you that I'll be making us some dinner soon."

"I just wanted to give you some thanks for all the help you gave me to forgive Nami." Miyu smiled back as she inches forward toward him.

"And what is it?" Sanji asked in a puzzled tone.

She handed him a pink flower to which something came from Robin's garden.

"It's a flower I first planted when Robin showed me how to garden. I thought I would give it to you as a token of our friendship."

The chef smiled and took the flower, putting it on his chest. "Thank you, Mi Mi. I love it."

"You're welcome, Sanji!" She wagged her tail happily. "But I think I should be thanking you as well for me realizing my true potential of being myself."

He chuckled, as he gentlemanly bowed to her.

"Anything for my sweet, little lady."

Nami sees this happing and smiles lovingly, like a mother to her daughter.

"Miyu... What am I going to do with you?" She whispered to herself.

While that going on, Luffy passed by her as he was needy of a snack.

"Yo, Sanji! You got some meat I can snack on?"

"NO! DIDN'T YOU JUST EAT ALREADY?!"

Nami shook her head and hold her laughter from Luffy's usual hungry antics.

"Better question... what am I ever going to do with that fool." She said smiling.

"Wait, hold on there, Luffy." Nami place her hand on his left shoulder to stop him.

Huh? What's going on, Nami?"

Nami leans in and kisses him on the cheek. "This... Thank you~."

"Hey, don't thank me, you should thank Sanji for helping ya to set things straight with you and Miyu. Shishishishi!"

"Yeah, I guess you're right, Luffy, I should really thank him for that." She smiled, watching Miyu laugh in happiness.
