After saying goodbye to Celebi the group collectively decided that it'd be way easier to have the new psychic on the team us to the next gym leaders gym so... yeah, we did that.

Canalave City... what a place! The dockyards made for excellent training for, not only Floatzel but the entire team. Minus Cresselia of course, I wasn't that stupid. The two of us had already agreed that she'd only train when we knew no one would find us and I'd only use her in battle if I had no other choice.

We even got to see Dawn and the professor again, since apparently they were off to do some research on the rare Pokémon found within Iron Island, and they just so happened to need a strong trainer to protect them...

Rowan was a tad heasitent to letting me join them, but surprisingly it was Dawn who convinced him. That's not to say she was comfortable around me but... it was nice, hearing her recognize my abilities. Treating me like an actual person rather then the Boogeyman... The island itself was, true to it's name, filled to the brim with minerals and other valuable commodities. I should mention that while the two researchers studied various pokemon a wild Lucario attacked us, and, after a quick yet bloody battle I managed to capture it.

Lucario... He was loyal to me, for some reason. Celebi says it's my aura that drew him in but I myself am still not sure. And Arceus knows Lucario won't tell me...

After sending Rotom to the PC to make room for Lucario, our group went back to studying pokemon for a few more hours until we unanimously called it a day and headed back to the mainland.

Afterwards I decided to hit the brakes for awhile, and actually headed up towards Mt Coronet. After the disaster at Fullmoon island I knew that my team needed some extreme training so... where better then on the biggest mountain in the region?

We stayed there for three months, with all nine of us (myself included) training our ass's off inorder to become better then what we were. It was in that time period that the group became less of a team and more of a family, with every one of us willing to go through hell and back to protect one another. Meditite evolved in order to defeat a wild Abomasnow that had nearly thrown me off the cliff side. Eevee also had her own time to shine, having saved my life from a horde of tyranitar, in the process triggering her evolution. Since we were in a cave the only thing I could see was the faint blue patterns of her rings and... My very own Umbreon...

Gary would be proud.

By the time I finally got around to challenging Byron the guy was easy, with Lucario and Medicham sweeping his entire team, earning us the Mine Badge!

Over the course of the next few weeks I waited anxiously for... anything to happen. Back in my time Team Galactic would have already stolen the lake trio by then but apparently not in this time. That didn't come for another month... With the extra time we devoted it to even more training, with my focus being on getting in sync with Cresselia and with helping Torterra's mobility.

Oh...

I'm pretty dumb.

Guess I forget to mention that Grotle evolved back in Mt Coronet. As for why he evolved... it was to help save Floatzel and Rotom's lives from an Articuno. Yeah... an Articuno. Or, at the very least, that's what I've been told happened, but I was off getting supplies from a nearby town so I can't say I saw it with my own eyes.

Anyways!

Inevitably Team Galactic attacked the region and, as I had guessed, they strike the three great lakes of Sinnoh. Moving with haste it was quickly decided that Celebi (who had stayed with us for the majority of my Coronet) would go deal with any galactic grunts at lake Acuity, while Cresselia dealt with anyone in lake Verity. That left me with lake Valor...

At the lake itself I encountered and defeated one of team Galactic's admins, going by the name of Mars. I remember feeling relieved at how easy the battle was, because... well, I had lost to one of them maybe four months ago. After ensuring that Azelf was okay my group was about to leave before we got... "unwanted company".

Cyrus had arrived.

They had called their head boss to come personally deal with me.

What in the actual Fuck?

It was going to be a battle for my life, one I surely couldn't have won. It was going to be awesome! But... Azelf teleported us away. She seemed deeply troubled by the attacks, so much so that she now wanted an extra layer of security, to ensure that she was never captured...

No, I didn't catch her, don't ask.

She was quite angry with me but in all honesty, who was I to catch yet another mythic?

After regrouping with Celebi and Cresselia I was able to confirm that all three missions had been successful. Cyrus's plans had been stopped, or at the very least, delayed...
