It took me another year to get around to challenging Candice.

At that point my team had reached unprecedented levels, something that I never could have achieved in my old world... Torterra, Chatot, Floatzel, Rotom, Umbreon, Medicham, Cresselia, Lucario, (and Celebi). This was my team, my family, and who would help me save the world from dying for a second time. That year was filled with intense training and lot's of laughter, a calm before the storm I suppose...

The walk up north towards Snowpoint City was long and cold, but it was also calm since anyone who dared challenge us was defeated by Chatot or Medicham within seconds.

The city itself was just as I had remembered it; graceful, cold, and beautiful. I even let my Pokémon roam the city for a few days while I started speaking with Annabel about getting in contact with the Champion..

Upon entering the gym Candice greeted me with a curios look, muttering about having waited for my challenge. A full six on six... I won of course but it was close, with Torterra just barely knocking out her Froslass with energy ball. And so, for the second time, I had collected all eight of Sinnoh's gym badges!

Things moved quickly afterwards, with Annabel giving me the bittersweet news that I would not be able to meet with the champion, even if I knew something about the terrorists that plagued Sinnoh. All it meant was that'd I have to do things the hard way... After some last minute training, both on my own and with others I had met along the way, I felt I was ready. Or as ready as I'd ever be...

If I wanted Cynthia's attention I'd need to defeat the elite 4.

AN: Volkner? Who's that? Never heard of... Damm. I forgot to write about him.

Quick rundown; During the treck towards Snowpoint I got caught in quite the blizzard, forcing me to boggle down in some cave with the team. At that point, I was seriously regretting not having a fire type on hand. Anyways Volkner of all people stumbles in, looking like he was only a few steps from death.

Did I help him? I...
