"Zoinks!" Shaggy screams as he ran behind a painting to hide, choosing a fake one
The Black Knight ran over to the painting and punched through it, missing Shaggy by one single inch. The Black Knight growled after getting his hand out of the now broken painting.
Shaggy poked his head through the hole and said, "Scooby, like, do something!"
Scooby then quickly put on a painters disguise, grabbed some paint, a paint pallete, a paintbrush and a canvas on an easel. He looked at the canvas, then The Black Knight. He grabbed a squirt tube of red paint and squirted it onto the pallete, and then he squirted paint right onto The Black Knight's helmet.
Scooby then snickered a little and everyone ran out of the room, just as The Black Knight punched the canvas on the easel, breaking the canvas and easel before chasing after the gang.
Scooby and Shaggy quickly ducked around a corner, The Black Knight running pasts at first, going after Fred, Velma, and Daphne. Shaggy then elbowed Scooby and gestured to a bear skin rug.
The two ran over hid under the bear skin rug. Once the two were fully hidden, The Black Knight ran into the room and stopped ahead of Scooby and Shaggy who were crawling around under the bear skin rug. Once the majority of the moving rug went past, The Black Knight stepped on a back part of it, causing Scooby and Shaggy to crawl out from under it.
When the two realized they were now un-covered, they went wide eyed and quickly crawled under a table. The Black Knight ran over to the table and picked it up, only for Scooby and Shaggy not to be seen. Out of rage, The Black Knight threw the table at the wall, making it go into the wall. When what was the top of the table fell, it was revealed Scooby and Shaggy were hiding under the table and grabbed on when it was picked up.
Scooby and Shaggy shared a quick glance before running off, The Black Knight chasing after them. That is when The Black Knight chased the gang into a room labelled as the "Relic Room", that being the case cause it was full of several war relics.
In the Relic Room, The Black Knight was looking around, trying to find Mystery Inc. Fred, Velma, and Daphne poked their heads out of the top of the tank they were hiding in. Lucky for them, The Black Knight didn't see them.
Scooby and Shaggy poked their heads out of the plane they were hiding in, also un-noticed by The Black Knight. It was then that Shaggy got an idea that might help them escape the clutches of the walking tin can with a feather on his head the gang sees in front of them.
"Maybe my ventriloquism bit can get us out of this jam." Shaggy whispered. "If I can throw my voice to make it sound like it's coming from the other room, he might leave."
Just then Shaggy then worked some ventriloquism magic and threw his voice to make it sound like it's coming from elsewhere.
"Help! Let me out of this pot!" Shaggy's voice echoed from a pot outside of the relic room
The Black Knight walked over to investigate but got confused when he saw that no one was in the pot. Meanwhile, Scooby was quietly snickering and he un intentionally used Thundershock and jumpstarted the engine of the plane him and Shaggy were hiding in.
"Help!" Shaggy called out as the plane flew forward
"RHelp!" Scooby called out shortly after the plane lifted off the ground
Scooby saw an old fashioned pilot's cap and put it on.
"RScooby-Doo!" Scooby quietly cheered
When seeing the plane heading right for them, Fred, Velma, and Daphne quickly ducked back down in the tank, Fred closing the lid just before the plane flew over them.
The Black Knight saw the plane heading right for him and naturally, he screamed and ran for it. When the plane got to the doorway, however, parts of the wings broke off before it resumed un-intentionally going after The Black Knight.
The Black Knight kept screaming as he ran. However, when he reached the end of a hall, he knew he was trapped and couldn't go anywhere.
"Zoinks! Scooby!" Shaggy called out, pointing at The Black Knight
"Ripe!" Scooby yelped as he ducked down in the plane
Out of instinct, Shaggy reached forward and pulled a lever in the front seat, hoping it was the brakes. However, it was in fact not the breaks and just made the plane go upside down.
Shaggy covered his eyes and Scooby cheered, "RScooby-Doo!"
The Black Knight screams as the plane then was right-side up again and heading straight for him. By the time Fred, Velma, and Daphne got out of the Relic Room, the plane had crashed into a wall and by effect, stunning The Black Knight.
Shaggy looked at Th Black Knight and then Scooby.
"We did it, Scooby-Doo, we did it." Shaggy comments, pointing at the knocked over Black Knight
"RWe did?" Scooby asked before seeing The Black Knight knocked over and stunned. "RScooby-Doo!"
Scooby hopped out of the plane and went over to The Black Knight, bit down on the feather on the helmet, and pulled off the helmet revealing...
"Just as we thought!" Fred exclaimed
"It's the curator, Mr. Wickles." Daphne adds
Later, in the main lobby, an Officer Jenny had arrived and handcuffed Mr. Wickles.
"We gotta hand it to you kids." Officer Jenny stated. "We never would have suspected Wickles as the art swindler."
"Boy, was it a neat setup." Fred commented. "He and his gang were switching fake pieces of art for the real ones in the museum."
"And they made the fakes at night, in a secret workshop behind the mummy case." Daphne added
"That's why they had to get rid of the professor. He was the only one who could have spotted the fakes." Velma explained
Daphne the n went wide eyed and said, "Oh my Arceus, Professor Hyde White!"
"We never found him." Fred added
Scooby could then be heard barking nearby, catching everyone's attention. When they looked over at him, Scooby had a shoe in his mouth.
"It's Scooby-Doo with a shoe." Shaggy said, confused
"RFollow me!" Scooby said, walking off
When the rest if the gang, and the Officer Jenny that had arrived followed him, they got to the pone strange statue they didn't notice watched them each time they passed by and Scooby pointed at two feet, one of which didn't have a shoe on due to that shoe being the one Scooby had.
"RSee?" Scooby comments
Officer Jenny reached up to the top of the now proven to be fake statue and grabbed the body piece with her other hand, finding out it was just a cloak and she pulled off both pieces revealing that tied up under the fake statue and gagged was none other than...
"Professor Hyde White!" the gang exclaimed
Later, the gang was talking to the professor in his office.
"And all the time, it was Wickles who made The Black Knight come to life." Fred states
"And there was no legend." Daphne added
"Positively not." White explained. "Wickles just used the story to cover up my mysterious disappearance. Somehow, he managed to get into the armor down at the train station."
"And, like, on the way to the museum, he made you disappear." Shaggy states
Just then, some ghostly howling was heard which got everyone to turn to the source of the howling which was coming from the armor of The Black Knight. This time, it straight up scared everyone this time, Shaggy the most.
"Zoinks! H-H-He's alive!" Shaggy stuttered
When The Black Knight stepped into full view, they saw it was just Scooby messing around with the armor as he lifted up the faceplate of the armor.
"RScooby-Doo!" Scooby cheered
