Brynhild ask "does he know the rules about sharing a room?"

Astrid blushes "he slept at my bedside while I was in recovery."

Magnus ask "and he didn't try to take advantage of your weak state?"

Astrid smiles "he surprised me the first night I woke up from my injuries and found him on the floor sleeping in furs. I ask why he was sleeping at my bedside and he told me that he was admiring my beauty and fell asleep."

Magnus looks at Hiccup in a serious look.

Hiccup nervous under Astrid's father's gaze smiles sheepishly.

Astrid continues "ever since then he slept at my bedside. I realized he was different from other boys and wouldn't take advantage of me so I just let him. He makes weapons and can wrestle a hostel dragon into submission."

Brynhild cooked eggs for them.

While Hiccup and Astrid ate, Magnus and Brynhild talked about some of the rules on relationships and sleeping.

Hiccup listened to the rules and responded with having done that or ask what it means.

It was dinner time when the teens arrived back.

Hiccup walked outside to play with Toothless.

Magnus comments "he's not bad boy for you, daughter."

Astrid smiles "thank you, dad."

Brynhild sternly says "no night time activities until marriage and we approve of your relationship."

Astrid hugs them both "thank you."

She leaves the house and walks outside to see Hiccup playing with Toothless and smiles at them "hey, dragon boy. You hungry?"

Hiccup answers "yes. I didn't want to eat unless you eat."

Astrid smiles and grabs his hand to hold and says "come on, dragon boy. Let's go eat. The teens should be back now."

Hiccup follows Astrid to the Meade hall.

Once inside, Astrid looks for her table to see the teens eating dinner and walks over to food table and says "grab what your used to eating."

Hiccup grabs a strange leg and ask "what's this?"

Astrid grins "that's a chicken leg. kind of like fish."

Hiccup follows her to the teens table to eat.

Astrid sat down by Fishlegs.

Snotlout decided to side over next to her and says "there's a seat over there for losers."

Hiccup sighs and begins to walk to the other table when Astrid sternly says "Snotlout. Move over or I punch you off your seat."

Snotlout scowls "I'm the heir! Your my girl-"

Hiccup set his food down and pull a knife at Snotlout's throat "slide over now or I'll take this as you threatening my girlfriend."

Snotlout gulps and slides over.

Hiccup grabbed his plate and sat down beside his girlfriend and began eating.

Astrid stare shocking along with everyone else.

Hiccup takes a bite of his chicken leg.

Astrid ask "how is it?"

Hiccup swallow his bite and says "not bad."

Magnus and Brynhild walk in the Meade hall to eat dinner.

Snotlout grins sadisticly and walks over to his father and ask "can you send a marriage contract to the Hofferson's for their daughter to marry me?"

Spitelout sighs "sure, son."

Snotlout returns back to his seat and says "I believe your sitting next my fiance, loser and I would like to sit by her so leave.

Hiccup stops eating and looks at his chicken leg and sees the bones and says "oh I'm done with this" and shove in Snotlout's face, making him fall on the floor.

Astrid grabs Hiccup's hand and drag him out of the Meade hall.

They walk home in silence.

Astrid sighs "Hiccup? I told my dad to not accept marriage contracts because I'm dating you. It was hot for you to shove a chicken leg in Snotlout's face."

They arrive at Hofferson's house.

Hiccup walks to his basket on Toothless's saddle and grabs his clothes to change.

Astrid tells Hiccup "I'm going to take a shower. Make yourself a pallet on the floor in my room."

Hiccup ask "you don't have a guest room?"

Astrid smirks "Hiccup? I know for sure that you would sneak into my room to lay beside me on the floor. There's extra furs for winter season in my closet."

Hiccup blushes "yeah."

Astrid goes upstairs to her bedroom and grabs clothes to take a shower.

Hiccup sat at the kitchen table feeling he should stay downstairs.

Brynhild and Magnus arrive at home.

Brynhild ask "Hiccup? What are you doing down here?"

Hiccup answers "Astrid is upstairs taking a shower and I figured I'll wait down here incase she forgot to grab something and I wouldn't see something that I'm not supposed to see until after marriage."

A knock on the Hofferson's door interrupts them.

Hiccup comments "and I had this feeling that Snotlout's father was going to drop by with a marriage contract for Astrid to marry Snotlout."

Magnus ask "did you two announce that you were a couple to the villagers?"

Hiccup answers "yes."

Brynhild comments "jealousy."

Magnus opens the door to see Spitelout and Snotlout and ask "what can I do for you, Spitelout?"

Spitelout grins "I would like to sign a marriage contract with you. My son here wishes to marry your daughter and he can provide for her."

Hiccup interrupts their conversation "excuse me, Magnus and Spitelout? Snotlout? Let me ask you one question."

Snotlout grumbles "what are you doing here?!"

Magnus answers "my daughter trust him spending the night in her bedroom with her, so I think I should give him a chance."

Hiccup ask "if Astrid was injured, would you take advantage of her knowing that she can't fight back or would you sleep at her bedside incase she needs something and can't do things herself?"

Snotlout answers "well if she can't fight back, I would make out with her and get a little more."

Hiccup looks at Magnus and says "you can send him away. He shows no respect for an unconscious and injured girl."

Magnus sighs "Spitelout? I'm sorry, but Hiccup is right and for my daughter's happiness, your son shows no respect or honor and must deny your marriage proposal."

Spitelout ask "why because of one question?"

Magnus answers "yes."

Snotlout scowls "that one question doesn't mean anything!"

Hiccup ask "what happens when she wakes up and later finds out she's with child and she has no memory of asking you for mating. You just basically admitted to the desire of raping her while she's unconscious and injured!"

Snotlout scowls "so what! I'm the heir! I'm supposed to give the tribe a heir!"

Magnus sternly orders "Spitelout. Take your son and leave. Don't ever ask me to sign a marriage contract because I'll burn them."

Snotlout gape "you can't do that?!"

Magnus answers "yes I can until you become chief. I can deny your marriage proposals" and slams the door shut."

Brynhild curious ask "did that cross your mind, Hiccup?"

Hiccup answers "no because my mom would punish me by grounding me from flying my Night Fury. When I brought Astrid to my home, I think she caught me brushing your daughter's hair in a trance like state."

Brynhild gape "hypnotize!"

Hiccup ask "what's Hypnotize?"

Brynhild answers "hypnotize means your caught in a spell. You fell in love with our daughter at first sight."

Hiccup comments "I never seen a girl as beautiful as her and feel things that I never felt about any other girl."

Astrid stood at the top of the stairs blushing furious until she decides to make her presence known "Hiccup? You have a way of with words."

Magnus ask "what did you feel when you were hypnotize?"

Hiccup nervous under Astrid's gaze answers "I saw her beautiful. I wanted to be only hers if she would have me. I may want to have a family with her after she decides she wants me in the future."

Astrid walked down the stairs and stood in front of him and put her hand to stop him from talking and giggles "my dopey dragon boy" and kisses him deeply.

After the kiss, Hiccup breathes "wow."

Astrid giggles again looking down to see Hiccup hardness and blushes deeply.

Magnus tells his daughter "Spitelout came by with a marriage contract and Hiccup prove Snotlout's horrible choice for you to date or marry."

Astrid ask "what did he do?"

Brynhild answers "Snotlout confess to desire of taking advantage of you in your unconscious and injured state."

Astrid ask "what did you do, dad?"

Magnus answers "I told him to leave and never come back with a marriage contract again."

Astrid looks at Hiccup and ask "why didn't you?"

Hiccup answers "mom would have beat me and have me marry you and take responsibility and I wouldn't do that to a beautiful girl like you. That's not what you do to someone that you fell in love with or someone you desire to marry for life."

Brynhild says "it's bedtime for all of us."

Magnus and Brynhild head upstairs to bed.

Hiccup and Astrid follows them to bed.

Astrid ask "Hiccup? Since I trusted you to sleep at my bedside since I stayed with you, could I trust you to not try assault me if we share my bed?"

Hiccup answers "yes."

Astrid kisses him goodnight and sides in bed.

Hiccup followed sleeping next to her.

Brynhild peeked inside and smirked "told you."

Magnus sighs "some explaining to do in the morning."
