Astrid stirred to being hugged to see Hiccup sleeping while hugging her and giggles "oh dragon boy. Time to wake up."

Hiccup shook his head no.

Astrid kisses his lips deeply.

Hiccup opens his eyes "okay, I'm up."

Astrid leaves her room to go use the bathroom.

Hiccup yawns sleepy and heads downstairs.

There was a knock on the door.

Hiccup answers it to see his dad.

Stoick smiles "hi, son. I was wondering if you could show me your Night Fury that you been living with."

Astrid came downstairs and smirks "I didn't know you were a hugger in bed."

Hiccup blushes while Stoick ask "what is going on here?"

Astrid blushes "oh hi, Chief."

Stoick ask "what happened last night?"

Magnus and Brynhild walked downstairs to see the Chief.

Magnus grins "since you stop by how about a marriage contract?"

Astrid blushes "dad!"

Magnus ask "do you want to wait until he proposes?"

Astrid answers "more like wait until I feel like I want to marry him and I do."

Hiccup grins and goes upstairs to go to the bathroom.

After that, he shows his father Toothless and Stormfly in the barn.

Toothless pounced on Hiccup and lick him."

Stoick gaped in shock at what he was seeing.

Hiccup tells Toothless "Toothless, meet my dad."

Toothless turns to the man and sniff before tilting his head."

Snotlout walked upto them and ask "uncle, since I'm heir, could you sign a marriage contract to make the Hofferson's agree force their daughter to marry me?"

Stoick comments "I would, but she has until she turns twenty and I would need their signature."

Hiccup comments "Dad?"

Stoick turns to his son and ask "what is it, Hiccup?"

Hiccup answers "last night he ask his father to ask Magnus to sign a marriage contract. Snotlout blew it by admitting to take advantage of Astrid if she was unconscious and injured. Magnus told Spitelout to never ask for his daughter to marry."

Stoick comments "sorry, nephew, but I won't force a girl through that kind of punishment."

Snotlout turns around and yells "SHE'S SUPPOSED TO MARRY ME! I'M THE HEIR!"

Stoick sighs "about that, I was thinking about making my son heir."

Snotlout gape "what do you mean replace me?"

Hiccup interrupts "I'm not upto being heir yet. I don't even know how to lead a village."

Snotlout scowls leaving.

Stoick comments "son, there was another thing I wanted to tell you. I would like you to work at forge."

Hiccup answers "sure."

Stoick leaves to go do chief duties.

Hiccup left to go walk to the forge to see a man with a prosthetic arm and says "you must be Gobber?"

Gobber answer "yes. Gobber the Belch. A good blacksmith."

Hiccup comments "my father wanted me to work for you. I made a sword and a double bladed axe. I make saddles for dragons."

Gobber ask "can I see the weapons?"

Hiccup answers "I have my sword. Astrid has the axe."

Gobber ask "was it a betrothal gift?"

Hiccup shakes his head "no. I made it as I think Astrid called it courting gift. The saddle was a thank you gift for accepting me as her boyfriend."

He pulls out the handle and press a button to activate his flaming sword and says "I call it inferno."

Gobber comments "how about you name things in the forge to see what you know."

Hiccup points to all the equipment in the forge and tell what they are for.

Gobber sighs "well you sure do know your stuff."

Hiccup comments "my mom gave me a book on forging."

Gobber ask "Valka is alive?"

Hiccup nods his head "yep."

Gobber finished a sword and says "I'm going to deliver this. Work on fixing this bent sword."

Hiccup takes the sword and examines it "did someone slam this against a boulder?"

He sticks the sword in the heater to heat up the sword.

While he waited for the sword to heat up, he decided to draw a picture on paper.

He search around for paper, but didn't find any.

He begins getting strange feeling again before getting hit hard in the head.

"You will not take Astrid or being Chief from me, freak! Now lie here and die!"

Hiccup watch as Snotlout set the forge on fire.

Snotlout left to hide.

Hiccup screech "Toothless!"

Whoosh

Hiccup pasted out from the smoke.

Toothless grabbed unconscious Hiccup and pulled him out of the burning forge.

Villagers hurried to put out the fire.

Stoick ask "what happened?!"

Gobber returned and says "Hiccup is an excellent blacksmith and knows what he's doing so someone else just try to kill him set the forge on fire."

Stoick ask "what do you mean by Hiccup knows what he's doing?"

Gobber comments "he passed my test on forging."

Astrid panics "oh my Odin, Hiccup!"

Gobber ask "Astrid? Can I see your new axe?"

Astrid answers "sure" and hands it over.

Gobber shows Stoick, Hiccup's work.

In the morning, Hiccup coughs.

"easy there, dragon boy."

Hiccup coughs "Astrid."

Astrid sighs and gives him a cup of water.

Hiccup breathes slowly.

Astrid ask "Hiccup? Do you remember what happened in the forge?"

Hiccup says "my head hurts."

Astrid sighs "Stoick doesn't if your good heir now I think."

Hiccup says "heir? OWE! You will not take Astrid or being Chief from me. Now lie here and die."

Astrid gasped "Hiccup? Did you just say Snotlout tried to kill you in the forge fire?"

Hiccup sighs "Astrid when Snotlout comes by me to cause trouble or make a move on you, I get this strange feeling that it's not good."

Stoick comments "oh, your awake son."

Astrid sighs "Chief Stoick, Snotlout just tried to kill him by setting forge on fire with Hiccup unconscious inside."

Stoick ask "how can you prove it?"

Astrid sternly repeats Hiccup's words "you will not take Astrid or being Chief from me. Now lie here and die."

Stoick widen his eyes in horror "Gobber told me that Hiccup is an experience blacksmith and passed his test on knowing what is used to forge weapons and how to shut it down."

Astrid turns to Hiccup and says "Stoick is still getting your room ready."

Hiccup coughs "how long have you been here?"

Astrid blushes "since the incident. I figured whoever tried to kill you would try to finish the job so Toothless is outside along with Stormfly.

Plus you stayed at my bedside when I was injured. It's only fair I do the same besides, I'm yours, dragon boy."

Hiccup sighs "milady. I love you."

Astrid smiles "I love you too."

Stoick comments "I'll deal with Snotlout."
