Night time came.

Astrid helped Hiccup to her house.

Hiccup sighs "two days of no activity."

Astrid grins "I can show you how to play maces and Talons."

Stoick sat in the Meade hall with Gobber drinking water.

Gobber ask "did Hiccup wake up?"

Stoick answers "yes."

Gobber sighs "does he know who set the forge on fire?"

Stoick answers "Snotlout."

Gobber ask "what do you plan on doing far as punishment?"

Stoick answers "one thing is for, he will build help rebuild the forge and temporarily suspending him from being my heir and making my son heir."

Gobber comments "Gothi said Hiccup was on bed rest for two days from breathing in that smoke."

(At Hofferson's house)

Astrid was teaching Hiccup maces and Talons.

They ate dinner.

Magnus and Brynhild went to bed.

Hiccup catch on quick on how to play the game.

Astrid started yawning, so Hiccup called it quits.

Hiccup smiles "bedtime."

He grabbed his pajamas and left to go change in the bathroom.

Astrid puts on her nightgown and slide into bed.

Hiccup cracked the door and whispers "Astrid? Can I come in?"

Astrid smiles "yes, you can come in."

Hiccup walked inside and shut the door.

He ask "does your father know we shared your bed?"

Astrid answers "yes. He ask me why and I told him that it was a test."

Hiccup ask "did I pass?"

Astrid grins "yes, because I trust you and you made me feel loved. Now let's go to sleep."

Hiccup slides into bed beside her.

Astrid kisses his lips "goodnight, Hiccup."

Hiccup replies "goodnight, Astrid."

In the morning, there was pounding on the Hofferson's door.

"Hiccup! Get your butt out here so I can kick it!"

Magnus stirred to pounding on his door.

Brynhild ask "who would be pounding on our door this early in the morning?"

Magnus sighs and go check who was waking them up.

He walks downstairs and answers the door to see Snotlout furious the and ask "what do you want Snotlout?"

Snotlout scowls "I want you to wake up Hiccup so I can beat the crap out him!"

Magnus shakes his head "no and you will leave him alone!"

Hiccup and Astrid walked downstairs to see Snotlout and Astrid decided to kiss Hiccup in front of them.

Snotlout scowls "Hiccup! I challenge you to fight for heir and Astrid's hand in marriage!"

Magnus gape in shock and turned to Hiccup in question.

Hiccup ask "why should I fight a jealous jerk who's whining like a baby because his dream girl choose me?"

Magnus shakes his head at him "Snotlout! You can't challenge Hiccup because you're under punishment law and until it's lifted you have no right!"

Snotlout left the house.

Astrid sighs "what did you mean by Snotlout's under punishment law, dad?"

Magnus sighs "last night at dinner, Stoick announced to the villagers that he suspended Snotlout from being heir and has to rebuild the forge with the builders and has to do all the hammering, cutting.

Hiccup is named temporarily heir to be tested. In two days, you'll be tested."

Astrid hugs Hiccup "that's amazing. No wonder Snotlout was angry and wanted to challenge you."

Hiccup comments "I would like to see Toothless."

Brynhild comments "after breakfast."

Hiccup goes to the kitchen and begins cooking eggs and boar bacon.

When he was done and set four plates down and says "breakfast is served."

Brynhild tries it first and says "hmm. I must say, daughter, you would be well taken care of."

Hiccup blushes "a Nightmare told me that males are supposed to respect their mates and take care of them."

Magnus ask "you speak dragon?"

Hiccup answers "yes and I somewhat got trained by them to sense feeling to threats."

Brynhild comments "Hiccup? Since Astrid trust you to share her bed, I feel we should trust you too."

Hiccup comments "thank you."

After breakfast, Hiccup and Astrid left the house to go play with Toothless and Stormfly.

While they play with the dragons, they hear Snotlout scream "THIS IS SO STUPID!"

Hiccup and Astrid walked over to where there rebuilding the forge.

Toothless and Stormfly watched from behind their riders.

Hiccup ask "Gobber?"

Gobber turned to see Hiccup and Astrid and their dragons and says "you should be laying down."

Hiccup comments "let me know when your building the roof."

Gobber ask "why?"

Hiccup grins "I'll show you why dragons are good helpers for the builders."

Snotlout whines "why do I have to do all this work for?!"

Astrid scoffs "maybe you should have thought twice before trying to kill my boyfriend out of jealousy and burn the forge."

Stoick stops by to see how things are going.

Snotlout grumbles "I challenge Hiccup to a fight for heir and Astrid's hand in marriage!"

Stoick sighs and turns to Snotlout and says "no fight. Your suspended from being my heir and since you burned down this forge to kill my son, I feel your father should pay me not to exile you!"

Snotlout gulps "yes, uncle."

Hiccup comments "Toothless would surely roast you for trying to kill me, Snotlout and I was thinking of getting you a dragon as well, but since you tried to kill over jealous, Camicazi will replace you on riding a Monstrous Nightmare."

Snotlout gape "you what?"

Hiccup leaves the forge area.

Snotlout ask "Astrid? What does he have that I don't?"

Astrid answers "he respects me as a girl and he had seven days to take advantage of me and he didn't because he was raised like a gentleman and not a pig like you. He can fight any wild dragons with ease.

He didn't persuade me with pickup lines. He showed me that he cared about my health and and gave me the choice to accept him as my boyfriend and I did because I fell in love with him."

For next day, Hiccup check in with Gothi to get clear to back to normal.
