Stoick command "Hiccup, Astrid and her parents. My house, right now."

Hiccup comments "your starting to annoy me, Snotlout."

Snotlout scowls "hey, she was my girlfriend before she ever met you and I would have bought her even she didn't want me. I don't care about her happiness. It's want demand of her."

They walk through the village up the steps to Haddock home.

Magnus and Brynhild follow the kids inside and shut the door.

Stoick ask "Hiccup? Is there a chance that Astrid could become pregnant with your baby."

Hiccup shakes his head "no. And we didn't mate last night."

Magnus curious ask "then why was Snotlout saying you took Astrid's purity for?"

Astrid answers "if you three listen, I'll explain what happened."

Brynhild smiles "sure, daughter."

Astrid sighs "Hiccup doesn't know anything about intimacy except physical contact like holding hands, hugging your mate and walking with your hand around their waist.

So last night, we kinda brought up the subject kissing heated. We ended up in nothing but underwear and me in bra and panties. After we catch our breath, I told him that it was called a make out session with your lover.

Next step would be after marriage. After that we went to sleep. I love him because he learns from me and he isn't clingy like those other boys that only see me as objective to have a fling with."

Stoick comments "to be safe, Magnus? How about I write up a marriage contract between them?"

Magnus answers "I don't know about that. That's for my daughter to answer."

Astrid blinks her eyes and comments "Hiccup, ask me in a proposal question."

Hiccup ask "what do I say?"

Astrid answers "just say what you like about me."

Hiccup thinks about it and says "there's one problem. I don't have anything to symbolizes we're engaged."

Brynhild laughs "such a gentleman, daughter. How about this, we write up the marriage contract while Hiccup makes something to symbolizes engagement and Astrid can review it."

Astrid kisses Hiccup on his lips and says "you make me happy, Hiccup."

The kids leave the Haddock house.

Snotlout ask "so what happened?"

Astrid grins "my parents are negotiating a marriage contract for me to marry Hiccup."

Snotlout gape "they're doing what?!"

Hiccup answers "Magnus Hofferson and my father are writing up a marriage contract."

Snotlout scowls "they were supposed to break you two up!"

Hiccup comments "get use to being replaced."

Snotlout leaves them, walking away angry.

Astrid comments "Hiccup? I hope your prepared for other heirs to come after me?"

Hiccup comments "well I'm temporarily heir and I don't know if it's permanent."

Two weeks later, Hiccup been sleeping in his new bedroom.

Him and Astrid got back from visiting the Valka up north.

He woke up in his bed and sighs "I wonder who Astrid was talking about when she told me about other heirs?"

He got up and got dressed and walked downstairs to see his father drinking tea.

He sighs and cooks eggs and boar bacon for breakfast.

Stoick comments "I'm surprised you could cook."

Hiccup comments "I learn from mom and other places."

Stoick ask "did you develop crushes on girls you met out in the wild?"

Hiccup shakes his head "no. They got mad at me for studying them learning or try and arrest me for riding a dragon."

Stoick comments "we're supposed to be getting visitors from the Meathead Tribe in a week. The chief is Mogadon and his son, Thuggory."

Hiccup eats breakfast and leave to go work on the engagement necklace.

He spent a hundred gold coins to purchase a two one carrot diamonds for engagement ring and wedding ring.

It took him a week to make each and engrave them.

Astrid stop by the forge and grins "hey, Dragon boy."

Hiccup smiles "hey, milady."

Astrid curious ask "what's working on?"

Hiccup answers "someone place an order on a necklace, so I'm working on it. Say are you doing anything tomorrow night?"

Astrid teases him "why, Hiccup, are you asking me out on a date?"

Hiccup answers "yes, if not, we can reschedule a date."

Astrid leaves the forge and goes train in her training spot.

Hiccup goes back to working on the betrothal necklace.

Night time came.

Hiccup engraved the Haddock and Hofferson symbols on it.

Gobber left to talk with Stoick.

Hiccup turned around to see Snotlout and puts the pendent on a chain.

Snotlout knocks him out and takes the necklace.

Gobber comes back to see Hiccup on the ground and wakes him up.

Hiccup ask "Gobber?"

Gobber ask "did Astrid keep you up last night?"

Hiccup answers "no, I saw Snotlout come here and I was working on Astrid's betrothal necklace and then blank. Where is Astrid's betrothal necklace?"

Gobber sighs "Snotlout probably took it."

Hiccup sighs "great."

Dinner time came.

Hiccup walked into the mead hall and grabbed Snotlout by his collar "what did you do with the necklace? It was for a customer and you had no right to steal it."

Snotlout coughs and kicks him in his stomach and punches him in the face and smirks "I gave it to Astrid to wear because she loved it."

Astrid walked over wearing the necklace and ask "Hiccup? What are you doing attacking Snotlout for?"

Hiccup nervous answers "he took your betrothal necklace that I was going to give you tomorrow on our date."

Astrid grins "you mean this necklace with the Haddock and Hofferson crest on it?"

Hiccup comments "your betrothed to Snotlout now."

Astrid smiles "I checked with elder Gothi and she told me I'm betrothed to you after my mom told me what crest are engrave on it. You picked me to be yours, dragon boy. So this makes it official" and kisses his lips."

Snotlout scowls "what the heck?! We're supposed to be engaged!"

Hiccup smirks "is it too early to say I want a family now?"

Astrid blushes and punches his shoulder.

Hiccup comments "okay, bad joke."

Next night, Hiccup proposed to Astrid with an engagement ring.
