Hiccup woke up to see Astrid snuggle into his side.
He brushes her hair back.
Astrid stirred "you should know that boys aren't allowed to touch a girl's hair unless he's married to that girl."
Hiccup comments "I get mesmerized by brushing your hair and your beauty."
Astrid blushes at the affection.
Hiccup ask "what are you doing here?"
Astrid answers "I wanted to spend the night with you and since we're betrothed to each other, I didn't see a problem except that the gossiping will be a problem. My parents didn't mind that I wanted to spend the night with you."
Hiccup gets up and gets dressed while Astrid went downstairs.
After he got dressed, he walked downstairs and got started on cooking breakfast.
Astrid curious ask "is your father still sleeping?"
Hiccup looks out the window and answers "he probably left before we woke up."
Astrid sighs "I should be getting back home before my mom comes to collect me or my dad."
Hiccup ask "what could be bad with joining me for breakfast?"
Astrid laughs "well they could guess that we're consummating again."
Hiccup shakes his head.
He lays a plate in front of her and says "eat up."
Astrid blushes "Hiccup, Hiccup, Hiccup."
Hiccup answers "yes?"
Astrid blinks her eyes "HICCUP!"
Hiccup ask "did you take something?"
Astrid giggles "hiccy."
Hiccup sits down and eat.
Astrid eats eggs and boar bacon.
Afterwards, Hiccup walked Astrid home.
Hiccup left to go to work.
A half an hour later, Brynhild stop by the forge and ask "Hiccup, dear? Did you consummate with my daughter last night or do something to her?"
Hiccup shakes his head "neither. Why?"
Brynhild answers "Astrid blushes, giggles and repeats your name like a little girl."
Hiccup sighs "I made her breakfast and she blushed and said my name three times and again and then called me hiccy."
Brynhild gasped "oh no, I didn't think your bond grew much deeper. She fell under a true love spell and to bring her back to normal, you have to kiss her for three minutes."
Hiccup curious ask "true love spell? That's news to me."
"Hiccup? Your always working! You never take a break to spend time with me!"
Gobber, Hiccup and Brynhild turn to see Astrid pouting.
Hiccup smirks "that is so adorable!"
Brynhild sternly says "Hiccup."
Hiccup grumbles "fine. I'll fix her.
He walks around the counter and wraps his arms around Astrid's waist and kisses her lips for three minutes.
After the kiss, Astrid blinks her eyes and ask "what just happened?"
Brynhild answers "you sort of fell under a true love spell over Hiccup."
Astrid ask "did I do anything stupid?"
Hiccup answers "only say my name a lot and you have an adorable pouting face."
Astrid punches his shoulder and leaves them.
Hiccup rubs his shoulder and turns to Gobber and says "I'm taking two hours off."
Gobber comments "you don't want to see her to be mad at you."
Hiccup leaves the forge to go catch Astrid.
He grabs her by her waist and kisses her cheek "we're going flying for two hours."
Astrid blushes at the kiss and sighs deeply.
They go get their dragons and go flying around Berk.
Astrid ask "Gobber just let you take off for two hours?"
Hiccup answers "yep. I figured your important to me and you said I'm not spending enough time with you in your love spell."
While flying around Berk, Astrid ask "are you upto facing the jealous suitors?"
Hiccup answers "to stay engaged to you, I'll fight anyone."
Astrid comments "I don't think I ever saw your dad take a day off from Chief duty."
Hiccup smiles "when you feel that I work too much, just come tell me. Hey what is one ship coming here for?"
Astrid answers "a visiting tribe."
Hiccup comments "my dad told me three days ago that we're getting a visit from the Meathead Tribe. They're four days early."
Astrid ask "Meathead Tribe? Oh shoot, Thuggory."
Hiccup comments "we better get back. I'm the heir."
Astrid ask "has the council granted you permanent heir yet?"
Hiccup shakes his head "no, the supporters of Jorgenson house vote against giving back my birthright so until I kill the queen dragon, I'm stuck being temporary heir."
They fly by the ship to inspect it.
Astrid comments "yep, that's the Meathead Tribe."
(On Meathead ship)
A guard yells "DRAGON RIDERS!"
Mogadon ask "since when has there been two dragon riders? I only heard of the Night Rider."
Thuggory comments "whoever that Night Rider is, who is that blond girl joining him?"
Mogadon answers "we'll find out when we get to Berk because they're flying to Berk as well."
(With Hiccup and Astrid)
Hiccup comments "I have to tell my father that the Meathead visitors are arriving now."
Astrid comments "I hope Thuggory is understanding."
Hiccup runs to go find his father.
He finds him talking to Spitelout and says "sorry to interrupt, but the Meathead Tribe is arriving today. Me and Astrid spotted them off our borders."
Stoick ask "were you both on your dragons?"
Hiccup answers "yes."
The blow horn blew signaling visiting tribe.
Spitelout grumbles "come on, brother. Give my son back his position of being your heir again."
Stoick sternly says "Spitelout, my son is my heir and his birthright to be future chief."
He leaves Spitelout and follows Hiccup down to the docks.
Hiccup nervous about many suitors coming for Astrid's courtship.
He walks down the ramp to greet Chief Mogadon.
Stoick greets Mogadon "welcome, Chief Mogadon and Thuggory and guest."
Mogadon ask "who is this little boy?"
Astrid ran down the ramp with Snotlout scowling "come on, Astrid. I'm going to be reinstated as heir!"
She stands next to Hiccup and grabs his hand to hold.
Hiccup answers "Snotlout! Leave my betrothal alone."
Mogadon and Thuggory ask "betrothed?!"
Hiccup answers "yes, my name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third. Son of Stoick 'the Vast' Haddock. This is Astrid, my fiance of four days ago."
Thuggory comments "I find it unbelievable that you and Astrid are betrothed all of a sudden when we came here to talk about a peace treaty with marriage contract between our tribes to take the dragon nest.
After we saw two dragon riders, we believe he can lead us to the nest and help end the dragon raids for all tribes."
Hiccup comments "I plan on ending the dragon queen to save the tribes from the dragons. I know how to cripple a dragon, I just need riders to distract it from ground team."
Thuggory ask "you were said to be dead for fifteen years. How did you meet Astrid Hofferson?"
Astrid answers "Dagur attacked my ship and left me unconscious and Hiccup rescue me. He showed me his world of living with dragons peacefully and then he kinda expressed that he liked me and then I accepted him as my boyfriend."
Thuggory comments marriage treaty contract over rules a betrothal. So dad can we write up a marriage-"
Hiccup drew inferno and sternly says "she stays my betrothal until she says no. Now go find a new girl to court."
Thuggory gasped "the dragon rider who been rescue dragons from our dragon arena."
Hiccup answers "yes, you would be correct."
Snotlout scowls "Astrid, I'm the heir. You belong to me."
Astrid punches Snotlout in the face "I am tired of your whining. Shut up about you wanting me. I don't want to marry you. You tried to kill Hiccup, you tried to trap me by stealing my betrothal necklace that Hiccup made me.
I was injured and you admitted to taking advantage of me in my weak state. All Hiccup did was brush my hair while admiring my beauty. I like him because I can trust him with sharing a bed!"
Snotlout gasped along with others.
Thuggory ask "you two sleep together?"
Hiccup answers "yes, at first I was sleeping on the floor next to her and she was sleeping on my bed. Her parents trust me to share a bed without taking advantage of her."
Thuggory comments "I challenge you for Astrid's hand in marriage!"
