Sailor Pluto, her Sailor Pluto, was walking out of the space-time door, reaching out to embrace the kitten who had risked everything to save her. Diana saw herself pounce into the waiting arms of her best friend and confidant, all the prior grief and agony from before washed away. Sailor Pluto didn't speak a word, but internally, Diana knew that the woman had no recollection of her own death.

Chibi-Usagi stood behind Sailor Pluto, eyes blurred with tears, images flashing in front of her of her mother buried in a coffin of crystal. The space-time key that was once in her trembling fingers had disappeared at the same time that the space-time door closed behind her with a resounding BANG. The key now returned to its rightful form as the space-time rod, grasped comfortably in Sailor Pluto's fingers.

"Chibi-Usa, look!" Diana said, bouncing over to her friend's side, "Sailor Pluto is here!"

"but you've doomed mamma!" Chibi-Usagi exclaimed, her pink eyes bloodshot and devoid of their usual light, "If this Sailor Pluto exists, then my mamma will stay dead forever!"

"What? What do you mean?" But Diana didn't get a response. In mere seconds, Diana watched as her princess vanished into thin air.

A wail of agony like she had never heard before emanated from the inner chamber of the Crystal Palace. The masculine tone was unmistakably King Endymion, but the unearthly sorrow in his voice was foreign to any who had known him.

Panic ran through Diana's body, and she soon found herself on the outskirts of the Silver Crystal Palace. The sight before her did nothing to diminish her fears.

The residents of the Crystal Palace, and of Crystal Tokyo, of the Silver Millenium were frozen in time. Crystal shards, casting rainbow streaks of light across the courtyard, littered the ground, shining beautifully amid the statues of frozen corpses.

As Diana walked through the horrors surrounding her, she knew she would never forget the faces of those forever locked in a state of permanent decay.
