We bring to you live via Fednet a surprising documentary on previous and present Skymarshalls
Note that the ones we've chosen are between the beginning of the Arachnid-Terran war and present day.
Let's introduce them now.
Here's the man that mobilized the Mobile Infantry after the attack on Buenos Aries:
Diens
And the one that took over after the defeat on Klendathu:
Tehat Meru
We bring you the Skymarshal that everyone loves:
Omar Anoke
The reformer of the Terran Federation
Enolo Phid
We have Richard Riverfield here as well.
Along with Amy Snapp, the youngest sky marshal in Terran Federation history
And last but not least...
Carl Jenkins, who has lived through it all to become the present skymarshal today
During the show, we will have a poll out on each Sky Marshall to determine who is the #1 SkyMarshal in the federation. The result will be revealed after the show.
Note: only citizens can participate.
Now that's out of the way, let's here from our first Sky Marshall, Diens.
Diens: Thanks for having me.
You know the federation has changed a lot during these times.
The teritory has expanded to include new systems, however, the archanid threat still exist, so, now that you've been out for a while, how's life?
Diens: Well, I've lived though the improvements of the federation. We're stronger than we were when I was Sky Marshall. I'm happy to see our federation thrive.
Do you have a few things that you would've done differently under your leadership?
Yes, I would've spent more time improving our Mobile Infrantry. During my leadership, a lot of them have died as a result of the defeat on Klendathu. We believed, that by going to the center of that plantenary system, that we could easily defeat the arachnid threat, only to be completely slaughtered.
I will now turn to Theat Maru to ask the same question.
Yes, I would definitely do a lot of this differently. Despite the improvement in military intelliegence, we've yet to decrease the amount of deaths in the Mobile Infrantry. Fleet has been a priority, but too much of a priority. Our Mobile Infrantry has always been on the front line. While fleet has brought in support, it is important that we remember those soliders that have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend all of humanity.
Now to the Sky Marshall that everyone loves, Omar Anokoe
I would've have done things very differently. So far during my leadership, there was no religious freedom. I would have allow this in order to increase our morale.
Now to the reformer, Enolo Phid
I would've been more careful and kept a sharper eye on the "Sky Marshall" that everyone loves...
Phid turns to Anokoe
Omar Anokoe: Why's that?
We'll discuss that later...
Now for Richard Riverfield:
There's one thing I would've done, the decentralization of military intelligence. During my charge, we almost had a full invasion on Tera, because of an Arachind queen controlled Starship crashing outside the capital.
Alright, let's go to the youngest sky marshall:
I would've been more mindful to listen to my advisors, pertaining to Mars.
And last but not least the current Sky Marshall, Carl Jenkins.
Throughout my years working in federal service, I've learned a lot from the previous sky Marshalls. After hearing all answering this question, I would say that there should be a narrow list of requirements that would qualify for the position.
All the others: HUH!
Ok, please elaborate
I have noticed that a few of these sky marshals have never served in the military, let alone even killed an arachind face to face.
Diens, Tehat Maru, Anokoe, Amy Snapp lowers their heads.
Alright, now it's time to get to the nitty gritty...
Note, at this point, we have top members of the Mobile Infrantry right behind you.
Some secrets are going to be revealed today:
Oh, by the way, depending on those secrets, only a few of you won't be leaving in handcuffs.
Let's start with Diens:
You've taken responsibility for the defeat on Klendathu, your punishment was your loss of office. So there's no reason to be concerned.
Tehat Maru:
The federation owes a lot of debt to you, on the ability to rethink and adapt to situations, so there isn't really much bad about you. There are some things that you've could've done better however...
Then there's the "Sky Marshall" that everyone loves:
Sedition, Treason.
The mobile infrantry moves in to place chains on his hands only to see him disappear.
Only to find that he was just a projection of himself.
FedNet now reveals the truth about Anoke. During his term, his psychic abilities were used to provide information to the arachnids as well as meeting with a Bug Queen known has vemaquoidal on Owen 1 to offer appeasement.
He was taken in and killed by the bug queen, which was as big as an entire planet.
Enolo Phid:
I'm very glad in a way to know that this has been revealed to the citizens, I've been carrying that burden around about not revealing it to the public for so long.
You've served us well. As well has being the first Sky Marshall to blow up an entire planet, thereby being the only person to kill the biggest bug of all.
Richard Riverfield's service has been exemplary, well deserving of praise.
However, Amy Snapp...
The attempt to destroy Mars while federal citizens are on the fire line defending against the arachind threat is something that cannot be forgiven...
Amy Snapp is taken away.
Now, Carl Jenkins...
As the current Sky Marshall, you've taken many measures to get the federation to this point...
Your intellectual prowess, has increased the chances that we can end this war.
How do u feel at this moment as you've seen the other sky marshal's dark secrets.
Carl Jenkins:
As a psychic, I wondered when their dark secrets would be revealed. It's about time though.
With that we'll take a short break before the court Marshall of Amy Snapp.
Alright then, we're back...
So far, we have Diens, Tehat Maru, Phid, Riverfied, and our current Sky Marshall, Carl Jenkins.
Before we went on break, the current Sky Marshall has suggested some very strict requirements to add to becoming a sky Marshall
Carl Jenkins
I believe that it's very important to keep the morale in the military very high. We've seen very great leaders, such as Johnny Rico, Carmen Evanez, Rackhec, Dax, and many others...
They've been there, through all the hell that the arachnids have to offer.
Having an election every 4-6 years with the requirement that they have served in either the mobile infantry, fleet or military intelligence, in order to run.
I believe that by doing this, we will end this war sooner than you think.
Are you willing to step down if you lose Carl Jenkins?
Carl gave it a thought...
Yes
The audience cheers.
After removing the traitors, we're going to continue with this question.
During your leadership, what reforms have you made?
Note that these reforms have to be implemented during the present arachnid conflict.
Diens is thereby excluded from answering this question.
Tehat Maru:
We've made sure to start by going around to the other planets in the Klendathu system. By doing so, we've gathered intelligence, with more information about the hierarchy of the arachnids. We captured a brain bug and probed it for information on how the bugs live, and how they pass on information, along with creating more technology that will allow to lessen our casualties.
Enolo Phid:
After the sedition of "the sky marshal that everyone loves" I took control and blasted him and his bug friend out of existence. The Q-Bomb is our best weapon against the archaeid threat, but we don't have a lot of them. I even made it that religious freedom be reestablished, as long as it supports our war effort.
New weapons such as the ones' being used by the Marauder program has most certainly increased our victories. We've had a lot of dissenters, but we take care of those in the most efficient way possible.
Richard Riverfield:
This war has gone on pretty long. Being Sky Marshall can shorten one's lifespan. Thanks to our predecessors , we've done all that we've can under my leadership. We've made certain that the bugs never set a foot on tera. We blew up the ship controlled by that bug queen and are working together with the current sky marshal turning the tide to win the war.
Carl Jenkins
Are we going to have the court-marshal of Amy Snapp live on FedNet?
Absolutely. The people on Mars demand it.
So with that said, we are now going to present the results of the greatest Sky Marshall in history
Note that the traitors have been eliminated from this survey.
Diens 23%
Taeht Maru: 27%
Enolo Phid: 31%
Richard Riverfield: 29%
Carl Jenkins 19%
Enolo Phid: I won!
It looks like we have a winner folks: The reformer Enolo Phid has become the most popular Sky Marshall to date.
Diens: I really didn't care much, just did my duty.
Taehat Maru: At least I came in second.
Richard Riverfield: I never really cared for these surveys, my job is to protect the human race, and that's what really matters.
Carl Jenkins: It's more important to put the human race first over personal popularity.
FedNet thanks you all for your time here.
Now let's get to the court-marshall of Amy Snapp:
Amy, sitting in the dock, as an entire courtroom is full.
Judge Hanselman:
The evidence has been apparent against you for your actions. Your hatred for that planet almost let to the deaths of millions. Despite intent on beating the bugs, we must never forget the importance of placing human lives first.
This court thereby deems you guilty as the traitor of mars, and for the seditious actions against the federation.
For the first time in history, we have to litterly execute a former Sky Marshall, however, due to your recent service to the federation, we the people will allow you to choose your punishment.
Should the court find the choice succiffant toward the crime you've committed balancing your years of federal service, we will spare your life, and exile you to the farthest reach of the federation, never to return to Terra.
Otherwise, your death and the implementation of the sentence will be decided by the Martian people.
The citizens of Mars that you were so willing to destroy, will decide the method of execution through popular vote.
And FedNet will televise this throughout the entire federation.
Do you have anything to say before I proclaim your sentence?
Amy: As a sky Marshall I dedicated myself to the federation with all my body and soul. Those mars separatists are a threat, and I chose to deal with them as such. The Q-Bomb would have been a proper punishment for those that would betray all that the federation has stood for.
I would thereby choose as my punishment to be sent to the Klendathu system to continue this fight for the federation knowing that by going to this planet, that my death would be inventible, but I would thereby prove my resolve and wipe the shame that I have brought to the Terran federation.
Judge Hanselman: We will return in 30 minutes to pass sentence.
Fednet: We will be right back with the sentence of Amy Snapp after this brief commercial
Commercial: Every day, new technologies are being created to eliminate the arachnid threat,
Defense systems, New weapons, new ships, and now we have mechs.
But these alone cannot stop them.
We need soldiers...
We need pilots...
We need you...
Pilots like Lola Beck..
Morale officers like Holly Little
And soldiers like Link Manion

We now return to you live at the supreme court as Judge Hanselman renders the verdict.
Judge Hanselman:
Amy Snapp, after evaluating the choice in sentence, we have found the chosen punishment to be sufficient.
This will be your sentence.
The crowd remains silent.
As part of your sentence, you will be placed with a penal unit that will be placed in the center planet of Klendathu. The position of commander of this unit will be thereby be chosen from the planet Mars itself through popular vote.
Take her away
FedNet: This trial reminds us that treason will not be tolerated, even to the highest part of the federation. We must be ever vigilant to fight and defeat all of the enemies of humanity, foreign and domestic.
Mars:
FedNet: We bring to you live now the thoughts and opinions of the sentence of Amy Snapp.
So how do u feel about this sentence?
Martian citizen: I personally feel that sentence was insufficent; she should've just hung on a noose here. Mussolini style.
FedNet: How about you fellow citizen?
Martian citizen: The bug threat is more important than the noose that would've been shown on FedNet, as much as I hate her, I'd rather not see another bug invasion on our planet. Amy Snapp will die on Klendathu, so I believe that the results are sufficient.
FedNet: In the later days, we will poll the citizens on their opinions pertaining to the trials' results
FedNet: With that said, thank you for watching us!
And Remember...
