Chapter 3,

Izuka was running through the back alleys. She looked over her shoulder and cursed under her breath when she saw that the man was slowly catching up to her.

As she turned the next corner of the alley she saw that there was a dead end ahead, when she went to turn back he was there cutting her off.

At the entrance to the alley stood a man in a blue and black hero suit with a mask covering his face.

5 minutes earlier;

Izuka had been using her floaty hands to steal wallets from passers-by she had begun to enjoy this part of her day seeing the confused looks on her victims faces was something she would never tire of.

She had just snagged another wallet when she heard a shout. When she looked for the source she saw another person looking directly at her floating hand.

A small commotion in the street was what got the attention of the hero. As soon as he saw the hand he grined. There was recently a warning put out on the hero network to be on the lookout of a green haired girl and there was said to allow her to detach and control her hands.

"This better be her." grumbled the hero.

He watched the hand as it threw away the wallet and darted away. Giving chase the hero was led to a building, as he observed the building he saw a small hooded figure emerge from one of the alleyways and the flicker of green hair poking out of the hood confirmed it. He had found her.

Back to the present.

The hero stared down at the girl, he knew that this girl was dangerous so he decided that he shouldn't give her a chance to fight back.

The hero used his quirk to turn his arm into water and launched it towards her. The movement came too fast to dodge as Izuka was hit with the water tendreal which pinned her against the wall.

Izuka could only let out a shout of pain before the hero used his water tendreal to cover her mouth. The hero let out a manic grin. The hero was only told that she had the hand quirk and that she would need to be taken in for questioning. So what's wrong with having a little fun?

The reason why this particular hero was here was because someone had paid him to patrol this part of town. And the reason for that was because of his history. It was covered up by the hero commission but the man had been involved with several incidents involving him being overly violent with the villains he captured.

So despite the fact that Izuka was already captured by the hero, he didn't call the police to hand her in, instead he started to beat on the girl.

It felt like hours had gone by since the hero had started beating her. Izuka managed to use floaty hands to get one of her hands out of the water bindings. The pro had turned one of his arms into water to pin her to the alley wall and was so caught up in the moment he failed to notice that the hand was missing.

Izuka positioned her hand to point it at one of the hero's eyes and fired off a laser into his eye.

The hero recoiled in pain and reverted his arm back into his human form releasing Izuka in the process as the hero held his eye in pain, Izuka charged forwards and slammed her hand into his face and pulled on his quirk.

The man screamed louder as Izuka felt the familiar tingle climb up her arm. The hero collapsed to the ground unconscious, Izuka stumbled off the scene, her faith in heroes starting to crumble.

All for one smiled widely, he had gotten word that his plan was progressing perfectly, he hired the water hero for two purposes the first was that he knew that the girl would run into him and that the pro would try something.

The second reason was to get her the girl on the heroes radar, this would then make her unable to go to heroes for help and in turn make her faith in heroes shatter.
