"Great shortcut Alvin! We've been walking for hours and I've yet to see a single dragon." Simon says as the group stops walking.
"Yeah and I'm still hungry." Theodore says.
"Here Theo. I was saving my candy bar as a snack on the way home but it's late and you need it more than I do. It's not much but at least you will have something on your stomach." Alexis says as she pulls a candy bar out of her pocket.
"Really?" Theodore asks.
"Yeah." Alexis says as she gives Theodore the candy bar.
"Thanks Alexis! You're the best. I can see why Alvin likes you." Theodore says as he happily eats the candy bar as Alexis blushes.
"Likes me? Of course. We're... We're friends." Alexis says shyly.
"Our show was cancelled! What do you suggest we do now Mr. Reliable?" Simon asks as the group gets to walking.
"Okay, okay! I admit it! We missed our show, the park's closed, we're probably locked in. It's all my fault. There. Are you happy?" Alvin asks annoyedly.
"I'm just fuzzy all over." Simon says annoyedly.
"I can't stay here all night. Teddy will get cold." Theodore says fearfully.
"Don't worry Theodore. So we're locked in. What's the worst than that can happen?" Alvin asks.
"Please don't say that. Listen Theo we may be in a dark amusement park but look at it this way. We have each other. For now let's see if we can find a way to contact Dave. I would howl for my mom but I doubt she'd hear me clear out here. Even if she did we'd still have to find a way out of here." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form.
"Oh yeah. I forgot your adoptive mom is a wolf shifter too." Alvin says.
"I got a quarter. I say we find a phone and call Dave." Simon says as the group walks off.
*Timeskip*
"No answer?" Alexis asks as she sees the others come over.
"Nope." Theodore says.
"Hey look! Somebody's still here!" Simon says gesturing to a light in a castle.
"Let's go see if we can get them to help us." Alexis says.
*Timeskip*
"Alvin! Cut it out. You know it scares me." Theodore says as Alvin keeps poking him as the group is walking down the castle halls.
"Hehe. I know." Alvin says proudly.
"Here Theo. You can ride on my back for a bit. Would that help any?" Alexis asks as she lowers herself down a bit.
"Lots. Thanks Alexis." Theodore says as he gets on Alexis's back before she stands up again.
"Shh. Hear that?" Simon asks as the group sees a man in a lab like area before the group follows Alvin under a table while trying to stay quiet.
"What's he doing?" Alexis asks as the group sees the man prop a monster up on a table like Frankenstein.
"Guys. It's just a costumed character. It's not real." Simon says before the man electrocutes the monster on the table making it open its eyes.
"My baby's alive!" The man shouts happily as Theodore falls off Alexis's back and faints.
"Theo." Simon says before faints as Alexis shifts to human form while Alvin then reaches for Theodore's teddy bear only for the man to step on his hat.
"Hey! Don't touch the cap." Alvin says as the man yells.
"Run!" Alexis shouts as everyone runs.
*Timeskip*
As the group runs out of the castle they soon get chased by Frankenstein.
"My teddy!" Theodore shouts as runs over to his teddy bear on the ground and picks it up.
"Come on Theo! We can't stop!" Alexis shouts as she grabs Theodore's hand and pulls him along before the group hides behind some card board cut outs.
"Is he gone?" Theodore asks.
"I think so." Alvin says before the group hears growling and sees the monster.
"Well think again! Run!" Alexis shouts as the group runs.
"Why are we stopping when every rational impulse tells us to- Oh no." Simon says as the group stops and sees Dragon Land.
"Dragon Land." Alvin says happily.
"You can't be serious." Simon says.
"Simon can't you see? Even a monster would think we wouldn't be stupid enough to take a thrill ride in the middle of a life or death chase." Alvin says.
"Are we?" Theodore asks.
"Well yeah. But he doesn't know that. Come on!" Alvin says as the group goes inside the building.
*Timeskip*
"I can't! It's too creepy. I gotta get out of here." Theodore says as he tries to run only for Alexis to stop him.
"Well it's either in here or out there with that monster Theo. I know it's scary but this is honestly the more safer choice at the moment." Alexis says as the group keeps walking before finding the ride part of the attraction.
"This is so cool!" Alvin says happily.
"I'm not happy." Theodore says.
"Hey look. A phone. Maybe Dave's home by now." Alvin says as he goes over to a phone.
"Alvin don't! That's not-" Alexis then gets cut off by Alvin talking over the park speaker phone before Simon takes the phone from him.
"Well so much for the hiding concept." Simon says before the group hears the monster and sees it as it then knocks them into the the ride cars and falls onto the controls making the ride start up.
"Yes! He missed." Simon says as the group sees the monster didn't make it onto the ride before turning around to sit properly in the cars.
*Timeskip*
"This isn't real. It's just a ride." Theodore says fearfully.
"Maybe the ride isn't real but he sure is!" Alexis shouts seeing the monster is on the ride.
"Tell me you don't love this baby." Alvin says happily.
"Quite impressive but I don't think we're going to like the way it ends." Simon says seeing the monster is climbing up the cars.
"Oh! He really shouldn't be doing that. You're supposed to sit down!" Theodore shouts.
"Very helpful Theodore. We wouldn't want him to get hurt before he could kill us!" Alvin says as the ride begins speeding up.
"We stopped?" Alexis asks as the ride stops.
"Hey look at that. Doesn't he know it's just a ride?" Alvin asks as the group sees the monster holding onto some dragon fangs.
"Apparently not. He thinks he's actually going to get eaten." Simon says as the monster refuses to let go.
"Well he better let go. I don't like the looks of these wheels." Alexis says seeing the wheels making sparks and smoke.
"This isn't good. He's building up the energy tolerances far behind what this ride what engineered." Simon says.
"What does that mean in English?" Alvin asks.
"He means we're going to go too fast!" Alexis says before the fang the monster is holding gives way causing the ride to begin moving much faster than it should before it goes out of the building, crashes through some stands, and hits a tree launching the group into the air.
"We made it!" Theodore says happily as the group lands on a bus.
"We're alive! I told you to trust me." Alvin says happily.
"Oh please." Simon says.
"Then I guess this is my stop. Bye guys. Be safe getting home. I gotta go or my mom is gonna be mad I am out later than usual. Bye Alvin." Alexis says as she smiles at Alvin before she shifts to wolf form and hops off the bus before running off.
