Elijah turns around to look at Sophie, wondering why his child had run to the nearest wall but at the same time far away from Sophie Deveraux. Why did she run like that and why did she looks frighten?

"I'm glad that you feel that way." Said Sophie as she enters. "Because we need your help."

"What, precisely, is it because that you want and what does it have to do with this young woman and my child?" Elijah asked her.

"We want to run Marcel and his vampires out of town. Klaus is the key. Everything Marcel knows about being a vampire, he learned from Klaus. Marcel trusts him. Looks up to him. He won't see the betrayal coming." Said Sophie.

"Yes. Well, as I'm sure you're aware that my brother Niklaus doesn't like to be told what to do." Said Elijah. then he glance at his daughter, she was shaking now.

He was now worried for her mental state, she was a very frighten and withdrawn young girl, what could've happened to her that cause her to be this much frighten of other people?

"That's why I brought you here. Marcel drove the werewolves out of town decades ago. Do you really thing he's going to welcome a Hybrid baby to the neighborhood? Or a half-human, half demigod, feral mutant, witch and half vampire teenager girl in the neighborhood? Convince Klaus to help us and no one has to know about two of the newest members of the Original family." Said Sophie.

He will not be blackmailed into this, especially not with his own daughter.

"That sounds remarkably like blackmail." Said Elijah.

"Like I said, I'm desperate." She said, not wavering from his glance.

"Well...then. I have my work cut out for me, don't I?" asked Elijah.

He went to Kairi and kiss her head gentle but when he made the move to leave, she grab the sleeve of his coat and he looks to her shaking and looking at him with such fearful eyes.

"I'll will return soon, sweetheart." He said as he stoke her cheek, hoping it would calm her.

"I don't want to stay here." She said in a quiet voice.

"Shh, I will not abandon you. I will return soon." Elijah said and he held her. She instantly tense but soon enough she starts to relax in his hold.

"I shall return." Said Elijah then he leaves.

He finds Niklaus looking down from the balcony after watching him and Marcel talking to each other.

"Evening, Elijah." Said Niklaus.

"Niklaus." He said.

"What an entirely unwelcome surprise." Said Niklaus.

"And what an unentirely unwelcome surprise." Said Elijah. He wonders how his brother is going to handle when he finds out about Hayley and the fact that he will have a child soon and that he has a niece.

"Come with me." Said Elijah, giving him a smile.

"I'm not going anywhere until I find out who's conspiring against me." Said Niklaus.

"I believe I just found that out for you." Said Elijah, and Niklaus looks to him.

They got to the graveyard again, and as soon as Elijah walks into the room where Kairi and Hayley is in, he feels arms being wrapped around him and he knows that it was Kairi.

"Shh, sweet one. I told you I would return." He said as he rub her back comfortingly.

"You could've been lying." she muttered quietly.

He smile, he'll have to work on gaining his daughter's trust.

So he turns to Niklaus who looks confused at the child that was shaking from fear.

So he tells him of Hayley and his unborn child and of Kairi.

"No, it's impossible." Said Nikluas in disbelief.

"I said the same thing." Said Elijah, he could sense Kairi stepping closer to him, he wasn't sure if it was from fear or if she is starting to trust him a bit.

"This is a lie. You're all lying. Vampires cannot precreate." Said Niklaus.

"Can't lie." muttered Kairi quietly.

"Everyone lies, child." Said Niklaus.

"Can't lie." She repeated but she didn't say on anything else on it.

"But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire... but you were born a werewolf. You're the Original Hybrid, the first of your kind and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes. Kairi is a loophole, like you said, Vampires can't create. But here is Kairi Lily Mullins. Sky's daughter." Said Sophie, and he turns to her.

Elijah looks down to Kairi to see her still shaking, he needs this over so he can get her out of here, she's frighten still. At first he thought it was because he was a stranger and she didn't know him. But he now knows that isn't the case. Kairi is frighten to be here, as in a graveyard or with the witches.

What has happened to his daughter to cause this kind of fear?

"You've been with someone else, admit it!" Shouted Niklaus, and for some reason...Kairi flinched violently and steps back as if someone was going to hurt her.

"Hey, I've spent days held captive in a freaking alligator bayou because they think that I'm carrying some magical miracle baby. Don't you think I would've fessed up if it wasn't yours?" Hayley said.

Kairi said nothing so he looks to her to see her rocking on her feet and arms around her middle as if she was trying to comfort herself.

"My sister gave her life to perform a spell she needed to confirm the pregnancy and to find out who Kairi's father is." Said Sophie.

Kairi whimpers so they turn to her and she's on her knees, muttering that sentence she was muttering before.

"Demons can't get in churches, demons can't get in churches." She muttered, Elijah knelt down and held her until the muttering dies down.

He wonders why she mutters that.

"Why is she muttering that?" Niklaus asked Sophie, which is a good question.

"How should I know? She keeps running off like a baby, muttering those words." Said Sophie.

"Not a baby, bitch-witch." Said Kairi quietly which made Niklaus snort.

"Good one, love." He had to admit.

"Don't encourage her, Niklaus." Said Elijah fondly.

"We're off track. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby, the life of Kairi are now controlled by us." Said Sophie.

What does that mean? He looks to Kairi to see she was just as confused as he was.

"We can keep them safe...or we can kill them." Said Sophie.

Kairi starts to shake again so he goes back to rub her back so she can calm down.

"If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress and Kairi won't live long enough to her 16th birthday." Said Sophie.

He looked to her shock, She didn't just threaten a pregnant woman and a traumatic child, his child.

"Wait, what?" Hayley asked.

He shook his head, getting rid of his shock and helped Kairi to her feet.

"Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself." Said Elijah.

"No. We can't. Not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow and there are rules." Said Sophie.

Elijah sighed as he close his eyes and looks to his brother, knowing how much he hates being told what to do.

"How dare you, you command me. Threaten me with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses? This is a pathetic deception. I won't hear anymore lies. Sky is dead, she has been for many years." Niklaus snarled, and Elijah felt his daughter flinching from it.

"Niklaus. Look at her, look at your niece. Look at Kairi." Said Elijah firmly.

Niklaus looks to Kairi's sad face and just like Elijah, he could see his brother on the girl's face but also Sky Mullins in the girl's face as well.

"Now Listen." He said, and Niklaus then looks to Hayley and he probably heard his unborn child's heartbeat.

"Kill her, and the baby. What do I care?" Said Niklaus

Elijah couldn't believe that he walks away, he could see that he wanted it so badly but he still left.

"Screw this. I'm out of here." said Hayley. But as she turns, two of the witches comes in front of her, preventing her from leaving.

"No one touches the girl or my daughter. I'll fix this." Elijah told her and then he gave Kairi's forehead a kiss.

"I'll shall return soon, sweetheart." he said.
