(A/N: Okay, now that Snaptrap and his men got the Christmas supplies, what are they going to do next? I'll start this chapter so you can find out!)
Snaptrap, Ollie, Francisco, and Larry spent most of December at Snapdance Studios. They were either decorating, watching Christmas specials and movies, baking, and learning Christmas songs. And they were having a fine old time doing so! They also got Christmas presents for each other. So far, everything was going quite well.
Then one day, Snaptrap was holding Snappy and showing him the presents under the tree at Snapdance Studios. Snappy was enthralled, which made Snaptrap happy, but it didn't take long for Snaptrap to realize that something was wrong: he didn't see any presents addressed to the kids in there, and their stockings were hanging there, limp and pathetic! Nothing was in them!
"Guys, didn't we go Christmas shopping for the kids yet?" Snaptrap asked, pulling Snappy away from the Christmas tree.
The members of D.O.O.M. all looked at each other with nervous faces, an indicator that they hadn't really done so yet!
"How could we, Boss? Our kids were with us whenever we had shopping to do! If we went shopping for them, they'd know what they're getting!" Ollie reminded Snaptrap.
"Or worse: we buy a present for one of the other kids, and our own kid immediately thinks it's for them!" Francisco said.
"So, what are we going to do?! We can't leave them at home because Mom will be there! I'm not going to let her get within 10 feet of Snappy! I refuse to let her put him through the same torture she put me through when I was his age!" Snaptrap said.
The others nodded. No way did they want to leave their kids with that nasty old bat! The poor kids would be scarred for life if that happened!
"Do you think we can find someone other than her to baby-sit our kids?" Larry asked.
"I... I don't know. But that's what we're going to have to do." Snaptrap said.
Snaptrap got out his address/phone book and tried calling Dr. Rabies and Madame Catastrophe, but they weren't home. He tried Dr. Rabies' cell phone number and got him. However, when Snaptrap asked him if he and Madame Catastrophe wouldn't mind taking the kids for a few hours while they did some Christmas shopping, he found out that they couldn't. They were taking their own kids to a movie, and they were at the theater now.
"How about we ask the Chameleon to do it? He could use some company!" Ollie said.
"Oh no! I am not about to let him baby-sit! He hates kids, and his Christmas drinks all have poison in them! If that loser puts his poison cider or eggnog in our kids' bottles and they drink it, we're not going to have kids anymore, and shopping for them would've been pointless!" Snaptrap said.
Ollie, Francisco, and Larry gasped and hugged their children close to them. Snaptrap was right: the Chameleon was right out, just like Snaptrap's mom.
"What about Birdbrain? Can't he do it?" asked Larry.
"No. He got put in jail last week, and he won't be getting out until New Year's." said Snaptrap.
"I know this sounds like an odd choice, but is Jack Rabbit available?" asked Francisco.
"No. Agent Puppy and his wife beat him up for trying to rob some place of all the money it was making on Black Friday, and from what I know, he's still black and blue from that beating. Plus, I'm still mad at him for not getting me T.U.F.F.'s top secrets, and the list of every undercover T.U.F.F. agent in the world." Snaptrap said.
"And we're not going to be leaving them with F.L.O.P.P., right?" Larry asked.
"That's crazy! I'll kill myself before I leave my son with those no-good, bottom-of-the-barrel thieves." Snaptrap vowed. Yeah, he finally found out that the things he lost at the golf course were stolen by F.L.O.P.P. He eventually got them all back and never forgave them for taking his stuff and causing trouble that they didn't know how to stop.
"Okay, so who are we going to ask?" Ollie said.
Snaptrap didn't know who to ask. He didn't know of anyone else who might be able to help.
"I'm going to take Snappy for a ride in his stroller. Maybe I can even clear my head and figure something out." Snaptrap said as he put Snappy in his stroller and detached it from the multi-child stroller. Then they made their way out of the building.
Snaptrap been gone for only a few minutes when he bumped into a cat and dog who were walking down the street together, holding hands. The cat had light tan fur with long, black hair and blue eyes, and she wore a purple t-shirt and blue pants. The dog had brown fur and blue eyes. He wore a light red t-shirt and blue pants.
"Oops! I'm sorry! I didn't see you guys there!" Snaptrap apologized.
"No, it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention." said the dog in a Romanian accent.
"No, I'm taking the blame for this one. I was lost in thought and not watching for what was ahead of me." Snaptrap said.
"What were you thinking about, if I may ask?" asked the cat politely. She too had a Romanian accent.
"My friends and I have some Christmas shopping to do for our kids, but we can't find anyone suitable enough to watch over them for us while we shop, and my mom is right out because she's a child abuser." Snaptrap said.
"Is this your child?" asked the cat, looking at Snappy, who was sitting up in his stroller, being a cute baby rat.
"Yes, that's my son. His name is Snappy." Snaptrap replied.
"He's adorable." said the cat.
"He seems like a good kid." said the dog, before adding, "Oh, my name is Adrian Dogescu. The cat looking at your son is my girlfriend, Adelina Kittenașcu. We moved here from Romania just a few months ago. We may be boyfriend and girlfriend, but we live together."
(A/N: Adrian and Adelina belong to JaikoArt on deviantART. He asked me to use his OCs in my story, and I said I would.)
"Then how come...?" Snaptrap asked. If they were from Romania, they seemed to know English quite well.
"We also know English." Adelina replied.
"Okay. That's good. I'm Verminious Snaptrap. I used to be a villain, but I reformed for my son, Snappy. I've lived my whole life in the city of Petropolis." Snaptrap said.
"Snaptrap? Could you be the same Snaptrap Dudley and Kitty told us about?" Adrian asked.
"What? You two know Agent Puppy and his wife?" Snaptrap asked.
"Yes. We met them not long after their triplets were born. Now you said you need someone to look after your son for you?" Adelina asked.
"Yes. And my friends have kids, too. There's four of us, and we each have one kid, so that's 4 kids who all need a baby-sitter." Snaptrap said.
"Maybe Adelina and I can look after them for you?" Adrian offered.
"Would you? Do you want to do that at Snapdance Studios, or would you like us to bring them to your house?" Snaptrap asked.
"You might need to wrap or hide the gifts if you can't find someone who can wrap them before you get back. We could take them to our house and watch over them there to help you out." Adrian said.
"That would be great! Where do you live?" Snaptrap asked.
"Um, Adelina, could you tell Snaptrap our new address? I kind of forgot what it is again." Adrian said to his girlfriend.
Adelina smiled and told Snaptrap the address. When he heard it, his eyes lit up.
"I know where that is. You live right in my neighborhood!" Snaptrap said.
"So, do you want us to take the kids for a few hours?" asked Adelina.
"I'll have to take you to Snapdance Studios so you can meet them. That's where I teach dancing, and it's where my friends and I are celebrating Christmas since Mom is kind of a Grinch about Chistmas." Snaptrap said.
"Ouch." Adrian winced sympathetically. He heard of the Grinch.
"Yeah, that's why we have to celebrate in secret." Snaptrap explained as they walked up to the doors of Snapdance Studios.
"Boss, did you find some new dance students?" Ollie asked when he saw Snaptrap walk in with Adrian and Adelina right behind him.
"No, these two, Adrian and Adelina, are new to the neighborhood." Snaptrap began.
"Hello!" Larry greeted them.
"Hi." said Adelina with a friendly wave.
"Hey." Adrian smiled.
"It turns out these guys live not far from D.O.O.M. H.Q. Not only that, but they agreed to look after our kids for a few hours while we go Christmas shopping for them." Snaptrap explained.
"Did you really?" asked Francisco.
"Yes, we did." Adelina replied.
"And they also know Agent Puppy and his wife." Snaptrap said.
"Then our kids should be in capable hands." said Ollie.
"Yay! Now let's go shopping!" Larry said.
"Thanks for doing this. How much am I going to owe you?" Snaptrap asked as he reattached Snappy's stroller to the multi-child stroller. His henchmen immediately placed their kids in the stroller with Snappy.
"Oh, you don't have to pay us for doing this." said Adrian as Ollie handed him the baby bag that had all the kids' things in it.
"I want to." Snaptrap said. He paid each of them a $10 bill and said, "Don't refuse the money. You're good people, and I can't thank you enough for helping us out."
Adrian and Adelina thanked Snaptrap and gave him their cell phone numbers. Realizing that it was smart, he gave them his own cell phone number. Then, after saying good-bye to their young ones, locking up Snapdance Studios, and putting up the 'Closed' sign, Snaptrap, Ollie, Francisco, and Larry left, ready to do some Christmas shopping for their kiddies.
"Come on, Adrian. Let's take these kids to our place and watch over them." said Adelina to her boyfriend. And they did. They kept the kids occupied with episodes of "Bear in the Big Blue House".
Snaptrap, Ollie, Francisco, and Larry went to the mall and started shopping for the kids, picking out clothes, toys, and books that they thought their kids might like. They shopped for their own kids, and each other's kids.
A couple of hours later, Snaptrap and his men had finished paying for the presents they bought, and they took them all back to Snapdance Studios to wrap them and put them under the tree or in the stockings.
"Okay, now we're ready. Let's go get the kids." Snaptrap said when everything was done. He pulled out his cell phone and called Adrian's cell number. Adrian picked it up on the second ring.
"Hello." Adrian answered.
"Adrian, it's me, Snaptrap. We finished the shopping and got the presents all wrapped and put in their proper places, so we're coming to get our kids." Snaptrap replied as he and his men left the studio and locked the door again.
"Oh, okay. See you soon." Adrian replied.
"Who was that, Adrian?" Adelina asked.
"Snaptrap. He and his friends are coming to pick up the kids." Adrian told her.
"Okay. They'll be glad to know that the kids were on their absolute best behaviors." Adelina smiled.
A few minutes later, they heard a knock at the door.
"Must be him." said Adelina. She went to get the door while Adrian got the kids ready to go.
Adelina opened the door, and she saw Snaptrap, Ollie, Francisco, and Larry.
"We're here! How were the kids?" Snaptrap asked.
"They were very well-behaved. I know Santa will bring them nice presents for Christmas." said Adelina, allowing Snaptrap and his men to come inside.
"How did the shopping go?" Adrian asked.
"We found lots of neat things for the kids and got them." Francisco said.
"We're going to end up spoiling them rotten." Larry said.
"Better us than my mom. She'll spoil their childhoods in the worst way." Snaptrap said.
Snaptrap then took the baby bag, and Ollie pushed the multi-child stroller, and as they left, the members of D.O.O.M. called out, "Thank you! Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas to you, too!" said Adrian as Adelina waved.
And so ends Chapter 3. I hope it was okay! Next up is Chapter 4, and that's going to take place on Christmas Eve! Be sure to stay tuned!
