Author's Notes: Sorry it took a bit for me to come up with this. I apologize that it might be all over the place. I may go back and edit later. For now here you go.
Once it slowed down, it was time to start getting ready to close down the pizza place. It was now called Stark's Pizzaria. Loki needed to teach the new employee how to make a mop bucket.
That was where Tony found his husband. He was wearing the new manager shirt. A dark blue Jersey material collared shirt with black pants and the new black pumas that Tony got him. Loki's dark hair was slicked back. It still looked neat. Even after his 12 hour shift.
"Are you just going to stand there and stare?"
A voice pulled Tony out of his moments. It was Loki. He stood there with his arms folded across his chest with an eyebrow raised.
"I just came to check on the store. You said it was chaotic tonight." Tony said.
Relaxing, Loki shrugged. "It's not like I couldn't handle it, Tony. It only got chaotic cause I had to train 3 new people."
"What happened to your assistant manager?" Tony asked, following Loki to the office.
"Oh you mean the one who quit, because they thought I was getting special treatment since I am married to the owner's son." Loki explained.
Tony couldn't stop himself from clenching his fists. Ever since Loki came out as gay, he had such a rough life. It was worse when Tony's father made Loki the General Manager after the one before moved to another state. Everyone thought because Loki and Tony were married, Mr. Stark was giving Loki special treatment.
However, what no one knows is that Loki earned that position. He worked harder than anyone else in the store. He would even come in in the middle of week (sometimes after school) just to cover a shift because no one else would.
"Do you have anyone who can step up or do we need to hire one?" Tony asked.
Loki went through the papers on his desk. He grabbed a pen from a cup that was next to their wedding photo. He used the pen to make a few notes on one of the papers. Tony noticed it was the inventory sheet.
Before Wednesday, they need to get a tally of what they have/need. So by tonight, Loki needed to email Mr. Stark about what they need.
"Do you want me to do it so you can focus on training?" Tony asked.
"I got it. It shouldn't take too long." Loki said, grabbing his air pods and phone off of the desk.
Tony followed his husband into the Walk In. He stayed close as Loki did the inventory. Checking expiration dates and making notes of that with his phone. He had to pause a few times to check on the new employees or to help with whatever questions they had.
As Loki was sending the email, a few customers walked in. They went to the Charter school with Loki. They picked on him mercilessly for being gay. And now they come into the store ever so often to cause a ruckus. Loki tried to kick them out numerous times but they kept coming back. This time, he was done.
"Call the cops." Loki whispered to Tony before he left the office to deal with them.
Tony kept a watchful eye on his husband. As he was on the phone with the police, he was simultaneously texting Thor with Loki's phone. Thor was on his way anyway to pick up a pizza he ordered.
"You were told to leave." Loki said.
"You can't kick us out. You're not the owner. We know the owner personally." One of the guys said.
Loki couldn't help but to laugh. Of course they don't know the owner. Loki is married to his son!
"So you know Howard Stark?" Loki asked.
"Yes and his kids. Although their names escape me."
"Yeah, I am engaged to his daughter. She will have you fired if you don't ring up our order."
Loki raised an eyebrow at that one. He'd known the Stark's all of his life. Howard and his wife only had one kid. Anthony. The one Loki is married too.
Tony couldn't stand listening to this anymore. He came out from his hiding spot to pull Loki behind him.
"The cops are on their way. So is my father. I suggest you leave." Tony said.
"You have no right to tell us what to do."
"Oh really?" Tony narrowed his eyes. "I happen to be the owner's son and I can promise you that I do not have a sister."
Just then Thor walked in with his friends from school. Wanda and Nat immediately went over to try to help Loki with the orders that were on the board. They both worked here anyway.
"Let the boys take care of this." Wanda whispered.
Loki nodded his head.
Tony was true to his word, the cops and his father showed up. They escorted the gentlemen out. And they were told to not come back here or it will be a jail sentence.
Loki collapsed on the couch at the penthouse home he shared with Tony. Tony brought him a calming cup of tea while he had a whiskey. He let Loki use his lap as a foot rest.
"What a night!" Loki groaned.
"You know, you can always quit. I am sure dad and I can find someone." Tony said.
Loki shook his head. "You know how much I love working, Anthony."
"Yes, but I also remember how you wanted to be a stay at home dad." Tony said, letting his hand caress Loki's ankle.
"Then you better knock me up then." Loki joked.
Laughter could be heard all through the penthouse.
