Later, Zoey and Glameow were at Miguel's short-term home for dinner after accepting the invitation. While having tacos, Zoey asked the family some questions...

Zoey: so, Mr. and Mrs. Rivera, what is it you do back in your own home?

Enrique: Well, we work as shoemakers.

Luisa: And our home also serves as a main landmark as an attraction, because Miguel's great grandfather Hector wrote some of Mexico's best songs!

Zoey: Oh, that's fantastic! (takes a bite of her taco) Did you know what happened to Mrs. Abiko and her granddaughter?

Enrique: (shakes his head) No, it's crazy. Mrs. Abiko was a sweet old lady.

Luisa: Yeah, from what we know, she seemed to be in a spiral after dawn went missing.

Miguel nodded in assurance.

Zoey: Miguel, did something happen there at that house? Who would do this?

Miguel thought very deeply, and after looking at his parents, he sighed, and said, 'Okay, Zoey, this might sound ridiculous at first, but it's also real and serious. This is what I saw the other day...

Flashback...

Miguel was helping Mrs. Abiko trim the bushes in her backyard, with Dawn and her Pokémon Buizel assisting them...

Dawn: Miguel, I'm gonna put these branches to the side, all right?

Miguel: Gracias, dawn.

As Dawn and Buizel carried the branches to the side of the yard, she saw something bubbling in the pool. Curious, she put her branches down, and stepped toward to the pool, to see what it was, despite Buizel's worries. Miguel was watching dawn and Buizel back there, and when they were close enough to the edge of the pool, a whirlpool came out, and took them away! Miguel quickly ran to the pool, jumped in and tried to find Dawn and Buizel, staying underwater for about 10 seconds, but he didn't see them! Miguel swam back up...

Miguel: Dawn! Dawn!

Later, two police officers were inside Mrs. Abiko's house, with Mrs. Abiko, Miguel, and his parents in the living room...

Police Officer 1: So, let me get this straight. You saw something come up from that pool, and take your friends?

Miguel: (nods) Si, and she wasn't there when I jumped in the pool!

Luisa: Are you sure you're not just imagining things?

Miguel: (sighs) Mami, this is not made up. It's like the pool took her away without any warning!

Mrs. Abiko: Some strange things Have been happening in this house. I don't know what's going on here!

The police officers looked at each other, then to Mrs. Abiko, then to Miguel and his parents...

Police Officer 2: We will send out a missing person's report for your granddaughter, and let you know if anything turns up.

The officers then left the house, and Luisa and Enrique turned to Mrs. Abiko...

Enrique: Was something like that ever been in your pool before?

Mrs. Abiko: Honestly, no. Not until Miguel told me about it.

Luisa: We think maybe you should leave this house immediately, and stay with us for a while.

Mrs. Abiko: Thanks, but I'll be fine. Whatever's in that house won't be able to mess with me! (puts her fists up)

The Riveras left the house.

Flashback ends.

Miguel: That was the last time we saw Mrs. Abiko.

Enrique: I still assume there was something in that beer that might have killed her.

Zoey, however, had second thoughts...

Zoey: I actually think something that was inside that house might have done it. (finishes her taco, then puts her plate in the kitchen sink) Great dinner, guys. Well, me and Glameow have to go back. We need to be prepared for what tricks that house might have. Good night.

Zoey and Glameow went back to the house, nervously and hastily, ready to save their friend Dawn from it.
